Let your angels in. They help.

I loved this book. This book has opened me up and I see and feel new things around me. The angels have been there all the time. All I had to do was ask for their help. I especially love having Raphael around. He helps me learn about healing. And Michael and his sword are teaching me about strength. All it takes is a belief. If you don't believe, that's ok too. This is a good book to read if you are interested in divine guidance.

This book was a holiday gift from a psychic friend/coworker of mine. It's a great book about angels, inviting them to help in every aspect of our lives. My favorite part, the prayers. Beautiful prayers more spiritual than religious. If you do or don't believe in religion or angels read this with an open mind you'll get something out of it.

Some people are confused when I describe my spirituality as “just God” or “pure spirituality”. Religions are for congregating people of similar beliefs. They do not run the afterlife. I appreciate topics like “Healing With The Angels: How The Angels Can Assist You In Every Area Of Your Life”. I favour Sylvia Browne but wisely expand my informational horizons through various teachers. If a perspective strikes a flat note, I need not agree with it. I absorb what resonates resoundingly and gradually paint a picture of how I feel the universe and my life work. Openness has always been the key. Solid faith should invite scrutiny and stand up to it.

The antithesis is membership that guilts us into avoiding any doctrine but our own. I seldom see a free spirit regressing to organized religion and was appalled that Doreen Virtue put out a book that calls her former faith “a sin”. It turned me off of reading her further, of course. I read her discussion about angels as it stood in 1999 and felt inspired by a fair amount of it. I gave it three stars.

I like knowing about the array of angels aiding us with requests of any size. I do not believe they are restricted without being formally asked. Who needs help more, than those who do not know Heavenly assistance is available? I gave it a whirl but it did not appear to work any differently.

I chose this material on January 11 for our precious cat, Spirit; who had inoperable stomach cancer. We did not give up on saving his life and tried things like this, cozy in bed together. Sadly, he ascended to Heaven at home, too soon. It was tough to finish this book without our Son-cat. This is for you, Spirit!

Okay, not my favorite book by Doreen, but all her books deserve at least 3 stars, which is why I gave it that rating. Any message from the angels is worth 3 stars. Felt a little redundant, but still good enough to read.

Like all Doreen Virtue’s books, this one is simply written and easily read. She provides much convincing information about the angels so we’re left in no doubt that they really exist and can help us with our various problems.

However, we need specifically to ask the angels for help, otherwise they’re not permitted to intervene. Only if we’re in a life-threatening situation, and it’s not our time to go, are they allowed to intervene without our asking. And when we ask them for help we must surrender the problem to them.

The chapters in the book are short and include examples of Doreen’s advice to clients (channelled from the angels) and inspiring stories of how people have been assisted by them.

We are given many useful prayer formulations we can use to heal various specific situations, for example, a prayer for increased energy or a prayer for a lost pet.

Information is also provided about measures through which we can help to detoxify our bodies. . These include instructions to avoid meat contaminated with hormones and pesticides, to follow an all-organic diet, if possible, to reduce alcohol, caffeine and carbonation from our diet, to avoid sodium laurel sulphate and related substances in household products, etc, etc.

It turns out every living creature has guardian angels, including flowers, plants, trees, birds and animals. If our pet has a problem, we can ask its guardian angel to help. Doreen recounts a story about her cat being in danger, but all went well when she requested that its guardian angel intervene.

Should you be worried about burglars or other persons coming into your house uninvited, you would do well to follow the author’s advice and ask God to place an angel on every corner of the house to protect it and us.

There is an informative chapter about incarnated angels, elementals, walk-ins and star people. And a final chapter about the significance of the numbers we sometimes notice we keep seeing.

These are just a few of the subjects referred to.

The appendix includes an extremely useful forgiveness exercise for forgiving all those who have ever irritated us. I’m in the process of doing this exercise, but it will take some time since there are 139 persons on my list!

This is not a deep or intellectual book in any way, but it is a simple, practical guide encouraging us to ask the angels for help and suggesting which type of problem we can ask them for help with (all types)!

I recommend this book to all those who are open to the existence of these wonderful beings, without whose help we could not exist.

Healing with the Angels teaches practical methods in communicating with angels. For a spiritual book, it is fairly easy to read. Although some of the concepts with time and space can be a bit confusing and I may not agree with all the concepts that are offered in this book. However, I do think that all the prayers written by Doreen in this book are very accessible to all people, whether religious or not. I also enjoyed a lot of the stories that were shared too. I don't think that the last two chapters of the book followed on from the other chapters and seemed out of place. Chapter 11 was about people from other realms (which I have also learnt about it Doreen's Realm Reader course) and Chapter 12 is about angel messages from number sequences. I guess you could just look at these two chapters as added bonus material. The appendix also has some good visualisation exercises and affirmations which I will definitely use in the future. Overall, this is a very good, in-depth book about angels and how to communicate with them in your daily life.

As always, Doreen writes in a clear, meaningful way. It is simple, but not so simple that you flounder for how it relates to you or what you are doing. The writing is done in a loving, nurturing way that draws you in. It will help you to understand how God communicates with you. I think she could have added that you should be kind and patient with yourself and God, for that matter. Nothing comes without commitment and learning. As she says "everything begins at the level of thought and idea". Maybe it takes a few readings of the whole book, or several readings of random sections. You create the experience you wish.

This is my 'first' Doreen Virtue book, a gift from a friend for Christmas.

Doreen touches upon many different areas of healing with Angels, but she also gives samples of the methods working. This is a wonderful book for anyone interested in healing and/or making contact with your Angels. The simple fact that they are there is comforting, but to truly feel the interaction is amazing.

The only con I had with the book is it left me wanting more, but that's not necessarily a downside, just means I need to dig deeper into certain areas.

This book changed my life. It's a good "starter" book from Doreen's large body of work because it discusses how to work with the angels in general, contains prayers for various needs, and explains "angel numbers," the repetitive number sequences the angels use to communicate with us.

Doreen's teachings led me to become a certified angel intuitive and most recently, the published author of a picture book called "Angels, Angels, Everywhere."

I'm very blessed and grateful to have found Doreen's books, and you will be too!

Ich habe das Buch geschenkt bekommen und muss hier gleich mal anmerken, dass ich es nicht vollständig gelesen habe, weil es oft im krassen Kontrast zu meinen Ansichten steht und mir das was ich gelesen habe gereicht hat. Ein Thema mit dem ich z. B. gar nichts anfangen konnte war wo es darum ging, dass unser Besitz mit unseren Gefühlen aufgeladen wird. Ich will hier nicht in Abrede stellen, dass dies nicht so sein kann, allerdings schreibt die Autorin, dass sie deshalb aus Versteigerungen, Notverkäufen etc. nichts kaufen würde sondern lieber von einem erfolgreichen Geschäftsmann. Auch wenn sie später schreibt, dass sie in Antiquitätenläden einkauft, klingt es in meinen Ohren doch erst einmal nach gebraucht - Pfui, Neu - Hui und das ist sehr kurzsichtig gedacht, denn gerade gebrauchte Gegenstände, egal woher sie kommen, sind irrsinnig dankbar wenn sie im Umlauf bleiben dürfen und man lädt sie ohnehin mit der Zeit mit seiner eigenen Energie auf. Während neue Artikel häufig noch durch den Herstellungsprozess an sich brutal vorbelastet sind, z. B. durch das häufige Ausbeuten von Arbeitern die ja mit den Rohstoffen in Berührung kommen und somit ebenfalls ihre Energie an das fertige Produkt weiter geben etc., was man mit einem Neukauf auch noch unterstützt, dreckiger geht's eh fast nicht mehr. Demnach ist das was die Dame hier an den Tag legt häufig eine relativ einseitige Weltsicht, Kapitalismus lässt grüßen!

"Terapia cu Ingeri" este o carte pe care am primit-o pe la inceputul anului. Din prima clia m-am simtit atrasa de titlul cartii, insa de abia luna aceasta am reusit sa o citesc. Pagina dupa pagina, am invatat multe lucruri despre lumea ingerilor si despre modul in care ei ne ajuta. Noi nu suntem singuri si, atunci cand cerem ajutor sau indrumare, avem langa noi prieteni adevarati - ingerii. 🥰🥹💛 Trebuie doar sa cerem si vom primi.

De multe ori am simtit ca ceva ma ajuta si ma inspira, mai ales atunci cand scriu. Mi s-a intmplat, de nenumarate ori, sa ma asez la calculator cu gandul ca vreau sa scriu ceva, fara sa stiu despre ce sa scriu si, ca prin minune, degetele mele tastau si cuvintele apareau. I don’t claim a religious preference but more personal base spirituality as my religion and I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior & I still think this was a great book, you can truly apply it to whatever you believe in. I personally chose to skip over some sections but still I believe this book has beauty in it and is beautifully written. I even “dog ear folded” some pages with prayers I felt touched my heart. Don’t let the fear of religion stop you from reading this book- if what you believe in your heart is true and you are strong in your beliefs I believe everyone can take something away spiritually by reading this book!
