Human memory starts to decline at age 16, and can drop 30 percent by the time we reach 70. Fortunately, by keeping our minds actice as we grow older, we can develop a superior ability to organize facts, making them easier to recall. That is the basis for the well-known memory-training techniques developed at Stanford University. Don't Forget! collects more than 100 fun exercises proven to help people develop a sharper, longer memory. They focus on real concerns and everyday matching names to faces, remembering directions, learning new skills. This edition even includes a new chapter on how to help children develop their memories, from infancy through high school.
4.5. I enjoyed learning about what the author, Danielle C. Lapp, wrote up about memory. I'm a big exercise lover. There are plenty of exercises in here to test your progress. Exercises start in first few pages of book so you can take in beginning and again at end.Comparison\self test market to compare how far u come along after completing the book. The Exercises very based on The tricks or area you are processing. They continued throughout the entire book. I definitely recommend recommend this book for anyone that likes to stretch their brain and challenge their memory.
Most practical book on training memory. This has changed I store and retrieve information about every aspect of my life. Its the best "HOW-TO" book based on state of research in the field of memory.
I enjoyed the tips and tricks in this book, and I feel like it helped my memory. However, I felt there were too many exercises to practice the lessons at the end of each chapter. It would take hours to do them, and some of them felt like a waste of time.
