The most original book on lucid dreaming and related topics. A good balance of the scientific and speculation. Appreciated the artistic elements of the book and the overall arrangement of the material. His perspectives match my own. I give five stars to books that I will likely revisit throughout my life.

This is the best book I have ever read on the subject of Lucid Dreaming. I thought I was out of luck until I saw this one.

If there were to be a Bible for dreams, it would be this book. There is something in it for everyone -- Tibetan Buddhism, Sufism neuroscience, quantum physics -- nearly every dream-related topic is covered from multiple perspectives. The text is also interspersed with beautiful images, some of which the author himself created, as well as practical advice for those looking to dream lucidly. Overall a fantastic read and a book I will surely return to in the future.

I loved this book and the illustrations and paintings that complimented every concept. Waking up in one's own dream does seem to be fantastic when discovering it. How the mystics used this phenomena over the ages and what has been passed down and part of the greater social dream knowledge was interesting. I recommend this book and happily admit it was hard to put down. This book makes you want to share your dreams with others and slip into the what ifs of dreaming possibilities. This was a great read!

Excellent art and anecdotes, thought-provoking science and myth. Most of all, lucid dream inducing stuff. As advertised.

This is the best book not just about lucid dreaming but about dreaming that I have ever read. I read it first about 27 years ago and have looked for it often since. I just could not remember the author and looking up lucid dreaming did not help me find it, eventually, we found each other again.

The illustrations are wonderful and the format easily digestible even when the topic is heady (implicate/explicate order anyone?). It described a spiritually transformative experience I had that I have never seen anywhere else.

Get it. To own not to borrow. Just do.

It is well written, there are a lot of examples and the contents of the book is very clear. I think it's one of the best book on this subject. It's a fantastic book and the images alone are worth it!

I read this book 25 years ago, it was a very pleasing book especially for the illustrations. When it was stolen from my collection I didn’t notice and then had forgotten the title. It just occurred to me I could just buy another copy. I’m glad to see it is still possible.

This book is beautiful. I didn't like the way it was organized, something about it seemed disjointed. It explores lucid dreams from many different cultural perspectives and uses some mostly abstract art to demonstrate some of the strange sensations associated with dreaming and lucidity. This author has done his research and I would recommend this book for anyone with an interest in dreams, lucidity, metaphysics and shamanism.

Awesome. tying in paranormal/mysticism/quantum physics/morphogenic fields/dreams/consciousness/spiritual evolution/enlightenment (awakening from this physical dream), etc..

One of the deepest books i've read.

If you want to lucid dream and could only buy one book on the subject, this is it. It touches everything, from techniques to the spiritual and scientific sides of it, with beautiful illustrations. You will learn everything you need to know about lucid dreaming and much more.
