The murderous doll is back! Straight from the movies and slashing a bloody swath through comics, Chucky is here! When he sets his sights on the survivors of his previous killing sprees, the blood is going to flow! Intense horror in this all-new limited series!
I loved the books and especially the movies. This was one of the first horror books I read, and it was fantastic. I loved the concept and story told. Definitely, a must-read, if you enjoy horror.
Thoroughly enjoyed this graphic graphic novel collecting several issues of the Chucky comic. The excessive but necessary blood, gore, profanity and sheer madness of Chucky come through perfectly. My one complaint was the ending. Chucky has been burned/incinerated to “death” time and time again. I wish his demise was more inventive. For example, Jade could have bound Chucky and ripped out his heart, eating it to release his soul and never allow him in a body again. She could have learned voodoo and cursed him. It was still a wonderful collection of comics.

1988 brought him to the world for the first time. This novel revives the scary Chucky everyone knows & loves. Chucky (Like Jason Voorhees) is instantly recognizable by everyone who sees him. This little book is packed full of what makes Chucky who he is: Scary, unusual & unstoppable. Pulido's view of the killer doll is absolutely astounding. He breathes new life into an already existing icon & I like that.
I think this book is really cool. I like all the interesting thing and all the killing that Chucky does. Also how no one can stop him even though he is only a doll. I've also seen all the movies and i really enjoy them to.
Chucky Vol. 1 collects issues 1-4 of the Devil's Due Publishing series written by Brian Pulido and art by Josh Medors and Pat Quinn.
Set after the events of Seed of Chucky, Chucky sets out for revenge against Jade, Jessie, and Lt. Preston (From Bride if Chucky. The three prevented Chucky from be reincarnated back in to human form). Our favorite serial killer Good Guy doll decides he is bored with plain old murder and decides to slowly torture them instead.
If you are fan of the Chucky series, you will love this comic. It's campy and feels like it could easily have been adapted into a movie. You can totally hear the voice of Chucky saying his snide remarks to his victims before the blood splatter and gore. I like how it's builds off the mythos if the Child's Play series and brings back characters. The art was also surprisingly strong throughout. This could have easily been a cheap cash-in but you can tell that the creators had a special love for the character.
Chucky from childs play films crazy murders are taken to a next level and adventure in this graphic novel, all to do with Chucky doing crime and getting away with it and alot of his past is al;so revealed
I have watched all chucky movies but as usual the book is better than the movie. After reading this book and night after midnight really gave me the spooks and i'm hard to scare.
