Her Naughty Holiday is book two in the Men At Work series by Tiffany Reisz. Where I loved the first book in this series, I have to say that I adored this one. It was sexy as heck but it was also sweet and funny and just amazing. I could not put it down.
Clover Greene is thirty years old, lives in Oregon and owns her own very successful business. Her assistant is seventeen year old Ruthie Fields who pretty much stole the show in this book. With all that Clover had accomplished you would think her family would be so proud of her. But all they saw and never failed to remind her of is that she was still single, childless, had dropped out of college, and countless other short comings. So needless to say, Clover was very distressed to learn that she was to host Thanksgiving this year.
Clover had a long running crush on Ruthie’s father, the oh so sexy contractor, Erick Fields. But her boss/friend relationship with Ruthie kept her from acting on it. Ruthie is going to spend Thanksgiving with her mother this year. With Ruthie gone, Clover hatches a plan with Erick that he pose as her fake boyfriend for Thanksgiving so her family will leave her alone.
Erick has also had a crush on his daughter’s boss for over a year now. But since she was his daughter’s boss, he never felt comfortable acting on it. With Ruthie gone for a week, he and Clover start to flirt a little bit. So when Clover comes up with the idea of him posing as her fake boyfriend, he’s all in. Except that he wants to ‘practice’ being her boyfriend for the days before her family arrives.
Erick and Clover were fantastic together. First, the hotness factor was through the roof. Their sexy times were off the charts! But what made their chemistry so hot was how they were with each other. They made each other laugh, and they talked constantly. I don’t think I have ever read about a couple that talked so much. They talked before sex, during sex, after sex. Their banter was so cute. Erick was able to give Clover the support and self confidence she lacked from her own family. He made her feel beautiful and sexy and wanted. It doesn’t take long for fake to turn real. But can it last after Thanksgiving is over? What will happen when Ruthie comes back? And the biggest question of all, what will happen when Erick meets her family?

I was looking for sexy romances to fit the season and I have to tell you that this book is perfect. You just can’t help but to love Erick and Clover and most of all, Ruthie. If you enjoy steamy, fun romance, then this book is for you. I am so glad I found this series and can’t wait to read the final book in the Men At Work trilogy, One Hot December.

This book actually started off okay and the characters seemed likable, but once the fake boyfriend scenario started, this book became an endless sexfest. It was bogged down with one sex scene after another and when it wasn't that, it was sex talk. I got tired of "hero" Erick's dirty talk really fast and I didn't find him sexy at all. I also didn't like how he was always bringing up everywhere he had sex before to "heroine" Clover. Talk about a total turn-off. Clover was a 30-year-old virgin who had sex for the first time with Erick. After that she was suddenly a nymphomaniac. She started off as independent and smart running her own business, but after she had sex with Erick she came off as empty-headed and wimpy. I didn't like Erick and Clover at all and they irritated the hell out of me. The only part of the story that was bearable was the too-short section where Clover's horrible family came over for Thanksgiving, but by then it was way too late to save this book for me. I know that Blaze books are supposed to be sexy and steamy, but they are also romance novels, and there was no romance here at all...just sex.

3.5 Snarky, Sarcastic, Very Smexy, Truth Seeking Stars

Sometimes while reading, I can imagine the author having an ulterior motive for writing the book I am reading. The idea isn't really that far fetched because when putting together these books we read, the muse or creative notion has to spring from somewhere, right...And in this 2nd entry of Tiffany Reisz's Men at Work series, she tackled a topic which has been front and center for women forever...How families regard and discount an unmarried woman's life choices and success.
Leave it to Ms. Reisz to put all of this into a Toosie Pop style of sexy, snarky banter and adult coupling. She took the attraction of a pure romantic, fun read and gave it an incredible chewy center to think about for a long time after consuming.
The story uses the idea of a "pretend boyfriend" to get the family off our gal's back during a forced Thanksgiving at her home instead of the usual ones at theirs. We learn how she has "that" family... the type that never thinks what she is doing is enough or equal to what the other kids in the family do... mainly because she isn't either a wife and mother or an academic like the parents...Those are the only things her family thinks makes a successful woman.....

Clover Greene is hugely successful. She grew up in this "loving" family of brothers and sisters which over the years morphed into a constant stream of Passive Aggressive BS every time she received a family email or saw them. She would receive these emails from her sister which would say to her how lucky she was she dealt in plants and not raising children because no one cares if a plant dies...Or asking how much fun she much be having doing her business... as it seems like such a kick and easy thing to do...Or from her parents discounting she was a major employer of a community with two locations because it wasn't science... it was Retail, after all....
And the joke was Clover loved her family. She even understood they had no idea how cutting all of their comments were... clueless. So she would be the terrific Aunt, loving up the nieces and nephews and hoping each holiday to get out unscathed.
Which brings us to Clover in her nursery having this conversation with Ruthie, the teenager she took a chance on by hiring. Ruthie's dad came to Clover because his daughter was convicted of eco-terrorism. She and others as a protest burned a barn being built by an abuser of the environment. She needed to pay her fine and no one would hire her. Clover agreed to an interview and after talking with Ruthie, she took her on. This was the best thing that had happened for both Ruthie and Clover. Ruthie learned from Clover there were a couple of ways to go in life...the Negative or Positive...and Ruthie changed course. They became more then employer and employee. They became friends.
Over these last months, Ruthie has seen how her dad looks at Clover...and it hasn't hurt that Clover sneaks peaks at him, too. As these two talk about what needs to be done about the dreaded family coming, Ruthie says Clover should hire a guy to be her pretend boyfriend. Ruthie casually suggests her dad. Clover laughs and Ruthie knows the seed has been planted. Her dad will be coming to take her to the airport. Ruthie is going to Los Angeles to see her mom for the holiday. Both of these two grow-ups will be on their own for a week...
Maybe Clover will take Ruthie's suggestion.
This tale had a certain flair....Ruthie's character gave the driving rhythm or tone of how the communication happened from the beginning. There was a snark, fast comeback -not mean or cutting...smart and teenage confident. Clover's relationship with this 17 year old going on 45 was the groundwork for all of it. It foretold the way the entire story was structured.... lots of quick comebacks, lots of dialogue.
The relationship the father had with his daughter was very special. Erick was a single dad who raised her mainly by himself since he was 20. He was talented in handling construction and specialized in Cedar. Over the years his business developed and it gave him the flexibility to be there for Ruthie. Erick had this ability to talk with her, accept her, listen to her but not indulge her. Ruthie was extremely bright and with that comes all the push back teenagers give parents. These two had mutual respect and love.
They also did this snark and banter as a way of talking. It became the way all of the dialogue was done with Clover and Erick. Much of it was funny, sweet and sexy...yet sometimes it was a lot. It was Erick's personality and we loved him...but it also took some getting use to.
What didn't need getting use to was how fantastic he was...I was in his corner from the start.
Clover's character was a woman who knew how to run her business and be a wonderful friend, hard worker and overall gem of a person. Her issue was she hated confrontation with her family of any kind. For years they treated her horribly and because she had tried to tell them to stop their behavior kindly... they ignored her words. Frustration led to just letting it go. They were family after all.
She also had no luck with men causing a huge vacuum in that department. She devoted all of her passion to growing her business working 12 hour a day 7 days a week . She loved what she did but it also left her alone at night.
When Clover and Erick embark on this "pretend boyfriend" deal...all things are approached and when I say all things...I am telling you, Clover experiences everything she miss out on over the years. The agreement may have started a bit awkwardly but once these two kiss.....We are set to have a grand ole time with them.
Erick is the best in how he thinks about Clover. He takes everything into consideration...and is truly smitten with her...has been since the first time he met her about Ruthie. These fit perfectly and before the main event of Thanksgiving, you know they will be going strong after the week.
This gives all the smexy goodness Reisz is known for plus a huge Thanksgiving Gift of a woman coming into her own. This reminded me of those Russian Dolls where you take them apart until you got to the very essence and core. Just like that Toosie Pop...it has a surprising yummy goodness.
One Hot December (Men at Work #3) will be the last of the series coming in November.

It's almost Thanksgiving so you know what that means... a re-read of Tiffany Reisz's Thanksgiving-themed sexiness: Her Naughty Holiday. I'm ready for turkey and all the fixin's now. And by fixin's I mean... Yeah.
Original Review: October 2016
Her Naughty Holiday is the second installment in Tiffany Reisz’s adult romance series titled Men at Work. Like with the first book, this story is very contemporary and does not push the envelope in ways that Ms. Reisz's fans are accustomed to. But that's OK. Ms. Reisz is showing her readers that Plain-Jane can be sexy as hell.
Her Naughty Holiday is a pretend-to-be-my-boyfriend plot which is one of my favorites in the romance genre. One way Ms. Reisz put her spin on this familiar theme was by creating characters who care so much about the credibility of their fake relationship - they want to ensure it is so believable that they have to work on their chemistry right away. And by chemistry, I mean...
Yeah.
Overall, I found this book likable and fun. The fact that the heroine was a and the fact that they had to have lots of sex in order to pull off a fake relationship in the first place was a bit of odd cheese I could have done without. But I enjoyed how the family dynamics written into this story influenced the characters in both good ways and bad. This element added a surprising complexity that I didn't expect. If you enjoy brief contemporary romances that are heavy on the adult component, then check out this series.

"That's not my hair, that's my office," she said pointing up at the tree. "But you smell good."
"That's hard to believe."
"You smell like sweat and cedar, it's nice."

This book couldn’t be more perfect if it tried. Checked off all my boxes!
Slight age gap — 8 years

She owns her own business and is a plant lover like me
He owns his own construction business—blue collar. Nuff said!
Daughter sneakingly sets them up
And for those that need more these two made my toes curl and eyes sting with tears at the same time. The conversations between them, their banter, their humor with each other..this book touched on some real topics that I found delicious. I can’t wait to talk about it all on my next podcast episode.
The sexxx. Erick is now one of my favorite heroes for all the things he did for Clover. Not just physically, but emotionally. He was her safe place. What started out as a fake dating situation got for real for real, REAL quick!’
I will read this again VERY soon. There’s so much I’m not mentioning due to spoilers, but my podcast will be LIT!!!

Quick, sexy, sassy......this story didn't waste anytime getting to the action. I enjoyed this read but I felt like I was running a race. Everything seemed to be on fast forward. Not sure that makes sense but it just felt that way.
These are older characters. Clover is 30 yrs old and never been married and a workaholic. Erick is a 38 yr old single dad who has a seventeen year old daughter, Ruthie, that seems like she was 30, who works for Clover. Ruthie sets up Clover and Erick for Thanksgiving and we are off to the races. Harlequin novels are all about romance and love and happy endings and this story was exactly that with just a whole lot of sex too!!! Of course there is some major angst, her family is rude and condescending and it all comes to a head at a Thanksgiving.
Clover and Erick have good banter but their relationship went from 0-90 in 5 seconds. While they have known each other and both have secretly crushed on one another, it just all felt too fast and rushed for me. I love Tiffany Reisz and her writing so I think this book is a "just me" issue!!
I will say..... if you are one that likes a fast, quick action, sassy and sexy read, Her Naughty Holiday will fit the bill. Just because it wasn't for me doesn't mean it won't be a perfect sexy read for you!!

3* the hottest single dad STARS!
Another holiday series from Tiffany Reisz. I know I'm not a big fans of this Harlequin but, well it's Tiffany. I don't care. LOL! Surprisingly, this story was better than the previous. How do you feel when your family keep nagging about your 'happiness' with marriage and children? Yeah, the struggle is real. I know a few people who feel this way.
What a nightmare! Clover Greene never expect to host Thanksgiving dinner for the whole family. The thing she hates when they couldn't stop asking about her life. Clover never think about hire a fake boyfriend when her teenage assistant suggested it. Erick Fields kinda volunteered to be her arm candy for Thanksgiving. For the sake of their plan, they need to lose the awkwardness especially when Erick is her assistant's father.
Clover was doing good but she didn't interest me. She's hard-working and independent but too mousy. She dedicated her life for the job. Boyfriend/husband isn't really in her mind. I know how hard it is since Clover has love-hate relationship with her family, but she didn't brave enough to stand up for herself. Erick really has positive vibe. Yeah, Clover's assistant, Ruthie is her daughter. He's so perfect to be a handsome single dad. I also enjoyed Erick's naughty side. Yum!
The whole story was mundane and too dragging for my taste. Both Clover and Erick already attracted to each other. If it wasn't because Ruthie, none of them will be together until now. I enjoyed their bonding time at first, but it was became too repetitive with no sparks. After all, the Thanksgiving drama finally exploded. Clover's family was really rude and nasty for intellectual people. Yikes! So bitter!
I must say, Erick is the best thing happened to Clover. Erick really did good job with Clover and building her confidence. He also romantic and good cook. Both he and Ruthie really has interesting personality especially with their banter. All thanks to Ruthie. Overall, it was a decent read with no flame.

Clover was doing good but she didn't interest me. She's hard-working and independent but too mousy. She dedicated her life for the job. Boyfriend/husband isn't really in her mind. I know how hard it is since Clover has love-hate relationship with her family, but she didn't brave enough to stand up for herself. Erick really has positive vibe. Yeah, Clover's assistant, Ruthie is her daughter. He's so perfect to be a handsome single dad. I also enjoyed Erick's naughty side. Yum!

The whole story was mundane and too dragging for my taste. Both Clover and Erick already attracted to each other. If it wasn't because Ruthie, none of them will be together until now. I enjoyed their bonding time at first, but it was became too repetitive with no sparks. After all, the Thanksgiving drama finally exploded. Clover's family was really rude and nasty for intellectual people. Yikes! So bitter!
I must say, Erick is the best thing happened to Clover. Erick really did good job with Clover and building her confidence. He also romantic and good cook. Both he and Ruthie really has interesting personality especially with their banter. All thanks to Ruthie. Overall, it was a decent read with no flame.

Never read a Thanksgiving romance before, so this was a first. Overall this was a pretty cute audiobook, it was part of a two book bundle and it was definitely the better story of the two. It was narrated well by Gabrielle Miller (Cendese), which was slightly off putting for me because she was the co-star of the iconic Canadian comedy Corner Gas, so it was weird to have Lacey in my ear reading a pretty dirty book. But I guess she has to eat and Canadian tv doesn’t pay very well 😂. I also appreciated Canadian hottie and actor Joseph Cannata as the cover model, he’s very handsome 🥵 and helped bring this story to life in my mind 🤣.
The book itself was fast moving and cute and had lots of good banter between the FMC and MMC, who were both strong characters. There was a great moment when she told off her family for their passive aggressive behaviour, which truly is in keeping with the spirit of Thanksgiving. The reason why this doesn’t get higher than a 3 star rating from me is two fold. First, this book was very heavy on sex and lacked relationship development. They jumped into bed right away and proceeded to have sex and talk about sex for most of the book. I like a steamy book, but this one was not creative with the scenes, it was just abundant.
And second, this book did the unforgivable in my humble opinion, it made the 30 year old, fully mature, professional woman, who owns a chain of retail nurseries, her own home and had a normal modern upbringing - A FUCKING VIRGIN! She was a bit shy and had a busy life but ffs, unless she was severely socially handicapped or hideously ugly, this plot point was just stupid and unrealistic. Plus she was a 30 year old virgin who jumped into bed with the first guy who offered, so she wasn’t exactly prudish or holding out for anything. Make it make sense authors! Please! Stop writing mature lady virgins in contemporary romance. Just please stop.
So if the sex had been more balanced with the story and the FMC had at least some sexual experience (she’d never even done oral or handjobs) this could have been a great read. But it was quick and the audio well done.

Quick, dirty, and endearing. Tiffany Reisz can write anything.
Her Naughty Holiday as well as the other books in the series is probably the most conventional romance that I've read from this author. It's so different from her other books and yet, the same. The same witty banter between the characters, the same depth and care given to their characterizations--it's all there.
I had a lot of fun reading this book, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Ruthie has just the man in mind, her father Erick, and with a little luck Ruthie’s hoping it will turn out to be the real deal. She loves Clover and couldn’t imagine a cooler stepmother or a better woman for her dad.
Erick has harbored a crush on Clover ever since she took a chance on his daughter and hired her, but he didn’t want to make things awkward for Ruthie, until she obviously sets them up. So when Clover asks for his help by pretending to be her boyfriend for the week, he jumps at the chance. Erick makes it clear offering up his body for delicious hot sex is part of the package when you get a “fake” boyfriend for the week!
I adored both Erick and Clover! Erick was a complete sweetheart, raising a wonderful and spirited daughter, mostly on his own. The way he bolstered Clover’s confidence, acknowledging and appreciating her accomplishments, and then standing up for her to her family just made me swoon! Clover was a hard working woman with a lot of heart. She took a chance on Ruthie hiring her, and channeled all Ruthie’s energy into good instead of anarchy (even if it was for a good reason).
Once again the setting of Lost Lake in Oregon had me itching to rent my very own woodsy cabin for a peaceful, secluded retreat. I want to cozy up by the fire as it quietly drizzles out in the woods or maybe watch the sunrise over the lake with my hubby! I actually started looking through some rentals on VRBO after I finished!
I love how Tiffany Reisz manages to make a romance feel realistic with the normal insecurities that creep in, and yet oh-so-hot! Erick was very good at making Clover realize that she was sexy, accomplished and sweet. This romance was sizzling, playful and so much fun! I can’t wait for the final installment, One Hot December, in the Men at Work series!

I bet that headline got your curiosity going. Since this is a review of a Tiffany Reisz title, the queen of BDSM (ah Soren and Nora, how I miss you so), I thought I should clarify that while this book is definitely sexy, it has nothing to do with BDSM like her extremely popular Original Sinners series. It will nonetheless feature quite the Thanksgiving spanking. Let your minds run wild with what that could possibly mean. This is a Tiffany Reisz title after all, one of the most clever and gifted writers, I have ever read.

While there are some reoccurring themes in the books in this series, primarily the setting in a remote part of Oregon, and the fact that the heroes in both of the first two books are contractors (thus the Men At Work series title), each could easily be read as a standalone. Nonetheless if you haven't yet had a chance to read book 1 (Her Halloween Treat), I highly recommend that you do.

HNH, features a 'fake' turned real relationship, when Clover needs to silence her family's outrage over her being a single, successful business owner. Erick agrees to play the part as long as they can really get into the roles. Which includes having the sex.
I loved the banter between Clover and Erick! I realized while reading this book, that it isn't the erotic stories that have made me into a huge fan of this author, but her wit. The dialogue between her characters, whether in a BDSM club, or a cabin - is top-notch.

4.5 Stars. After not really caring all that much about the 1st Book in this series that was Halloween based.. I didn't really have high hopes for this one. I was so pleasantly surprised! This one is centered around Thanksgiving and I absolutely loved all the characters. This one has the trope of "fake dating" and I loved Erick and Clover together. The Thanksgiving scenes were hilarious!

I fell off of my tradition of re-reading this every Thanksgiving so it’s been a few years since I last revisited this, for shame. It was just as good as ever! I still can’t fathom how and why Clover had any relationship with her toxic family but nothing tops her shutting them all down and Erick standing up for her.
My kingdom to go to that lake cabin, please and thank you.

Clover has put up with a lot from her family. They don’t respect her business and all the want is for her to get married and have babies. So a fake relationship seems like the only way to get them off their back. But of course, once she and Erick give in to their mutual crush on each other, it turns out there’s nothing fake about their chemistry or what they mean to each other.
Clover is the kind of character that sneaks up on you. She is amazing but it’s not readily apparent. She’s not quite a pushover but she’s put up with way more than she should from her family. She’s also buried herself under work and neglected her personal life. This story is really about her reclaiming her life and figuring out what she wants out of it. Erick is the icing on the cake, yes. (Take me to that cabin getaway stat.) But it’s empowering as hell to watch Clover stand up for herself and decide how she’s going to move forward. Personally, I would advocate for Clover cutting off her family many years ago. Fingers crossed they're capable of change since that's what she wants.
It’s hard to pick a favorite MMC out of Reisz’s holiday category romances because they’re all great. But something about Erick makes him the one for me. I adore his relationship with his daughter and his ability to banter, not to mention his way with woodwork.
This is such a fun read and rereading it each year is a wonderful tradition.

In the second installment to Reisz’ Men at Work series, HER NAUGHTY HOLIDAY has Clove Greene freaking out about hosting this year’s Thanksgiving dinner. With her overly judgmental family, she’s finding it difficult to tell them to all shove it and leave her alone, but at thirty years old and still single, she knows she’s going to need all the help she can get.
So she asks her young assistant’s father, Erick Fields to be her pretend boyfriend for the week while his daughter is visiting her mother in L.A. Erick is completely up for the challenge because he’s always liked Clove but never made his move because of his daughter. Now that he knows that she’s interested, he’s not going to let go.
Once again Tiffany Reisz pens a whip smart book filled with fun banter and sexy times. I loved the holiday touch to this book and her take on the single father trope. She doesn’t do anything really different in terms of the plot that we haven’t seen before, yet I found myself glued to the pages of this book because I loved the characters so much.
If I had to list a complaint I would say that the author has the tendency to have her characters talk around in circles. I’ve read every single one of Reisz’s books and I know her tricks now. Her flirting involves a lot of answering questions with another question to keep the ball in the air, so to speak. The worst thing is to have a character drop the ball because it would be the end of the banter so she does all that she can to keep it going. That being said, it becomes an almost roundabout way to reach the point where you actually want to get to. It’s not a terrible trick to employ because it has worked countless times, but sometimes I do think she relies on this trick a bit too much and if you’ve read all her books like me, you can probably pick up on it too.
Still, I have been enjoying this series so much that I’ve read the books back to back. I cannot wait to see what the next book has in store next!

This was the second Harlequin Brazen category romance that I've read. The other one is this author's first book in the Men at Work series. What attracted me to these specific books was my previous experience with the author. No, not her erotica, but her women's fiction-y, time travel/fantasy novel that I enjoyed a few years back - The Night Mark. I like the author's writing style and figure that these fast and flirty books would be a fun switch from all of the historical and contemporary dramas I've been reading.
The first book in this series was just okay, but this story was fun from the start with its rapid banter between an underappreciated heroine, a sexy single dad, and his 17-year-old spitfire of a rebel daughter. I giggled so many times in the first few chapters and loved these characters right away.
I was aware that these books were meant to be quick, sexy reads. With that in mind, I went into this one knowing sexy times would be abundant. I can honestly say that it's those scenes that prevented it from being 5 stars for me. There were just too many and they became redundant. Surprisingly, I did enjoy the swift build-up of the relationship, as well as their dialogue, and even some of their intimate times. Although, I would have preferred more of their verbal interactions as a couple away from the bedroom since their banter created some of the best scenes. Overall, this was a fun read with some great humor and equally fun characters. The Thanksgiving family shakedown was epic. If I was certain that all Entangled Brazen were like this, I wouldn't hesitate to read more of them.
Also, this was an audio listen and the narrator was wonderful.

Tiffany Reisz pens another entertaining holiday story. I loved the dynamic of the characters in this second installment to the Men at Work novella series. Ericke and Clover's banter and individual quick wit is what kept me reading. With the added element of a teenage girl in their lives the book has an added element of snark coupled with direct and honest feelings.
I felt a little differently with this book than the first in the series. There were more details I found a bit mundane and the parts of the book I found myself a bit disengaged. However, Reisz's erotic writing stands out and allows the reader to live in a peaceful, beautiful setting while engaging in the lives of two ordinary yet complex characters.
Her Naughty Holiday is a comfy and pleasurable story and is easily read in afternoon's time while you're wrapped up in a blanket on your couch. Reisz's writing is always in a class of it's own and her words incite a good reading experience.

Her Naughty Holiday was every bit as funny, flirty and raunchy sexy as Her Halloween Treat and I loved every last minute of it. A bearded, sexy single dad contractor and an overworked, intelligent, nerdy but beautiful garden nursery owner are thrust together by his teenage daughter and her need to survive Thanksgiving with her family.
I loved the fact that Erick and Clover had been crushing on each other for the last year, but neither one wanted to admit it or ruin the relationship they each had with Erick's daughter, Ruthie, who by the way is a total trip and quite the little matchmaker. With Ruthie out of town for the week of Thanksgiving to visit her Mom and Clover's family coming for the Thanksgiving holiday she asks Erick to be her fake boyfriend, but their evening of getting to know one another turns into a night of passion followed by a week of so much more.
There was something so refreshing about this couple's approach to a relationship and the fact they didn't question their fast as lighting feelings for one another. I appreciated how Erick quickly understood Clover's reluctance to spend time with her family and already didn't have a great opinion of them before he met them. I loved that they were both able to open up to each other so fully about their pasts, but what really impressed me was how much they valued each other's work ethic and business sense. Erick loved to tease about his jailbird daughter, it was obvious he had raised a highly intelligent and passionate young woman and he loved her dearly and Clover deeply valued her friendship and respected Ruthie completely.
Their fun and flirty banter coupled with Erick's penance of dirty talk and Clover's love of it, their immediate connection from the first kiss and their smoking hot sexy times all made this an excellent romance, but better yet was the way Erick had Clover's back when she needed it most and together they made a very formidable pair.
Her Holiday Treat is contemporary romance at its best; characters you feel you can be friends with, an engaging plot and fun, sexy times. Most of all it left me with a smile on my face and wanting to go back and re-read it again immediately; a true winner in my book!

It’s lighthearted, completely sexy (like 5/5 heat stars), totally sweet, and HILARIOUS! This is the fake-lationship type of book, the kind of book I always have a good time reading, and Reisz did not disappoint! This is a fantastic book to read just before thanksgiving, so if you’re looking for a book for this holiday, this would be a good one to choose!
Clover Green is the owner of Clover Greenery- a business that her parents don’t seem to support despite its success because they wanted her to finish college. This is the fake-lationship type of book, the kind of book I always have a good time reading, and Reisz did not disappoint! This is a fantastic book to read just before thanksgiving, so if you’re looking for a book for this holiday, this would be a good one to choose!

Loved hanging out with Clover, Erick ('Pops') and his daughter, Ruthie ('Ruthless'), and have to admit that I spent most of that time laughing!
(For some reason, I kept picturing a younger April Ludgate (played by Aubrey Plaza) from the television show, Parks and Rec, as Ruthie.
Ruthie's sweeter than April in a number of ways, but there are some similarities there that I just couldn't shake and also couldn't help but get a kick out of...)
I listened to the audiobook on Hoopla which was a part of the Christmas with the Marine & Her Naughty Holiday collection. It was narrated by Gabrielle Cendese who did a good job.
This was my first book by Tiffany Reisz, but it definitely won't be my last...

UPDATE NOV 17, 2021: On this year's reread, I love this book for this piece of advice alone: “...Clover says there’s two ways of making the world a better place—you can destroy the bad or you can create the good. I think I wanna focus on creating the good." This remains the BEST Harlequin/category romance I have ever read.
UPDATE NOV 17, 2020: This book gets better every time I read it. This time I really seemed to focus on how well Tiffany Reisz writes the banter between our two MC's. Just a delightful and super-sexy read :)
UPDATE NOV 27, 2019: This is the best category romance I've ever read. The dialogue is snappy, the relationship low conflict (don't worry, she has enough conflict with her family to provide the angst), the sex is HAWT, and the heroine learns how to stand up for herself. I look forward to reading this book every year :)

3.5 stars. Another enjoyable, entertaining read from one of my favorite authors. Funny, snarky and sexy with a secondary I loved *Ruthie* and a tiny bit of GTFO *Clover's FAMILY, ugh*. I look forward to the next in the series!

I liked the romance in this, don't get me wrong, but you know why it's getting five stars?
THE HEROINE GETS TO TELL OFF EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HER AWFUL FAMILY MEMBERS AND IT IS GLORIOUS.

9/2020 update, audiobook. Cute, but the narrator pronounced "clitoris" as "cli-TOR-is," which I found extremely jarring.
