Did I enjoy this book: I really did! This was a great finale to the Event to Remember series. Although, I’m kind of hoping for more Sienna and the gang!

We are back with the gang from An Event to Remember and Wedding Haters. Madison and Cole are happily married and traveling while Cole’s on tour. Abby and Matt are loving life with their two little ones. Sienna, Craig, and Nicole are busier than ever at Sheer Happiness Events. And Sienna and Ace are still together and quite happy. It was great to catch up with these characters.

I was very surprised by Craig. He was always a bit outspoken and unpredictable, but I definitely didn’t predict what happened in this book. Ace is lovable and sweet. He is the perfect match for Sienna. Ace is swoon-worthy. Of course, Sienna can’t get through a moment without some drama or crazy happenings. I loved how much Sienna evolved in this book and since the beginning of the series. There were times that I hardly recognized her, but that made it that much better. She is definitely a character that I rooted for, and I wanted her to find her own happiness. She was always the one that created happy moments for others. I wanted her to have a few happy moments. She definitely hit a few bumps along the way.

I laughed, I swooned, I shook my head, and I loved every moment. A great read!

Would I recommend it: Absolutely! This was a great ending (unless Ms. Baldwin is planning a 4th book???) to a great series! Be sure to check out the first two books: An Event to Remember . . . Or Forget and Wedding Haters.

Disclosure: I did some editing work on this title. After that work was completed, I was asked by the author to review the book. I received a copy of this book for review purposes. Although I was compensated for the editing work, it in no way affected the outcome of my review. My review is my honest opinion of the book.

Firstly i have to say i have loved this series. This is the third book in the Event to Remember series and i am really hoping its not the last. Please Melissa, do book number 4!!!
It was great revisiting these characters again. Madison and Cole are now happily married and traveling around while Cole is on tour. Abby and Matt, have a great life with their little ones, Ace and baby Charlotte. Sienna, is still busy with her business Sheer Happiness Events with the help of workers and friends, Craig and Nicole. Mainly focusing on Sienna, we have her upcoming wedding to Ace that she keeps putting on the back burner. Aswell as an old ghost from Ace's past that Sienna has to deal with. Sienna starts to question who she can trust, as she takes charge of her upcoming events, Sienna decides that maybe its best not to live by plans and lists and has a change of heart regarding her wedding. I absolutly love Sienna as a person, she is so likeable and funny and made to feel like she is your best friend. We got more of an insight of her life and feelings in this book. And i really loved the introduction of Maureen, her future mother in law. I have always loved Ace, i mean who wouldnt. Infact i secretly want him for myself. Another winner from Melissa Baldwin.

Not Quite Sheer Happiness (Event to Remember, #3) - PG
Violence: none
Language: fewer than 20
Sex: no sex, some kissing

Cute story! I vaguely remember the story before this, but I think it would have enhanced my experience if I had read it more recently, even though this is a standalone book. The Hero is a dream, but the book is really about the heroine's growth as a young woman, making her way as she grows her own business. The secondary characters are interesting; I think I'm going to start the series again!

Cute little audio.

Not Quite Sheer Happiness was a really cute book. Did I get bored sometimes? Yeah, probably. Mostly because it was just too cute. The only kind of romance I got was kissing.. and that's it. There was a ton of drama though - which wasn't really my cup of tea. This book kind of seemed like a Hallmark or Lifetime movie that I might make a drinking game out of.

In this, you will meet Ace and Sienna. They are a cute couple that definitely belongs together. However, that doesn't mean that these two don't have their fair share of ups and downs. There was a ton of drama surrounding these two but I honestly wasn't fazed by any of it. I didn't really care if they ended up together or not because deep down, like way deep, I knew that they would last.

Overall, it was cute and I'm glad that they found their happiness in the end.

‘Not Quite Sheer Happiness’ can be read as a standalone so you don’t have to read the previous two books in the series. However, I would recommend that you do so, unless you’re going to go buy them after you have a book hangover with the third book….like I did.
Sienna is such a lost soul. She wants to be happy but she can’t quite let her guard down enough to be able to give herself the happiness she deserves. But why? What has caused Sienna to question her life and other people’s motives? One word – past. Who has ever been in a situation in their life where their past begins to ruin the present and possibly the future? Some might say it only gets ruined if you let it. Or, some might say that if you’ve been hurt rather badly in the past, it can take time to rebuild yourself ready for the future.
When I started to get to know Sienna’s personality and her little quirks, I found myself nodding along to everything she said, like worrying that something is going to stuff things up for her if she’s happy. Or that she’s paranoid about her new relationship because of the old one. I’ve been there multiple times, I can relate to Sienna. To be honest, Sienna is pretty much me. I would say Melissa did that on purpose but I didn’t know her, wahhhhhhh. I love the way Melissa has written Sienna’s character because she has the likeability factor and she goes out of her way to please everyone else even if that means it makes her slightly naïve. Most of the characters I warmed to quite quickly, except one. I didn’t like her, pompous so and so! (I’m not going to tell you which one, spoilers and all that

This book isn’t terrible but it’s also not great. It’s a very basic read and the main character is too irritating to actually enjoy the book. I found myself thinking of ways the passages in the book could’ve been written to make it more interesting.

Sienna's business, event planning, has taken off and while the boost in income and reputation is nice, the stress isn't. Bridezillas, overly critical clients, drama queens ... she sees them all on a regular basis. Adding to the stress is planning her own wedding. What's a girl to do when she begins to have trouble juggling it all? While some of the scenarios were humorous, others were cringe-worthy and made me feel bad for Sienna with her overflowing to-do list. I wish she was strong enough to put her foot down and say no when the burden overwhelmed her instead of trying to make it all work. Take on too much and you risk not pleasing anybody, least of all yourself. For being business savvy and creative enough to be successful at what she does, her self-doubt when it comes to romance got old after a while. It felt like she needed her fellow to constantly prove himself when the doubts were all her own and it annoyed me. I felt this was done way too much and would have ended things if I were in this position.

Fun romp through the foibles of wedding planning...

Sienna Miller and Ace Eckelund are in love and engaged to be married. As a wedding/event planner her friends and family are surprised that Sienna is dragging her feet regarding their wedding plans. Since she has to deal with an old flame of Ace's, her assistant Craig's friendship with this old flame, Lisa, and the return of her old boss from hell, Carrie, Sienna has more on her plate than she can handle. Once she comes to the realization that all that matters is her and Ace, they finally step out of her comfort zone and do something totally unexpected. Will Sienna and Ace come clean to their friends and family? We'll have to wait until they throw their party at the end of the week!

After reading the first two books in the Event to Remember series, I was ready to see what happened next in book 3, Not Quite Sheer Happiness. The title is perfect for this book! This story centers around Sienna and her steady boyfriend Ace. Sienna's event planning company, Sheer Happiness, agrees to take over plans for the grand opening for a law firm that is scheduled to happen in
3 weeks. Lisa Simmson, from the law firm, is coordinating the plans. Sienna has a lot on her plate and is stressing out. Secondary characters, Madison, Cole, Abby, Craig, and Nicole are all back with updates about their lives. I really enjoyed this book with its twists, turns, and surprises! These are fun likable characters!

Great conclusion to the series

Event planner Sienna Harris is finally settled in her new business when she meets the girl from Ace's past. Even though Sienna and Ace are happily engaged, this girl won't let go of the past. And then her old boss Carrie is also back in the scene and Craig goes AWOL from the business. Can things get any worse?
Author Melissa Baldwin has poured so much more into the conclusion of this series, that you will never predict all that happens! Wonderful characters, some wild twists, good friends, and love combine into delightful perfection. Don't miss any of the books in the series, especially not this one!

Downloaded this with Kindle Unlimited because I wanted an easy breezy read. But this wasn't light or funny enough: just much ado about nothing.

The author has tried to make the protagonist Sienna Harris as "real" as possible but she ends up being not a very likable character. She's constantly worrying about one thing or the other, berating herself for being a jealous girlfriend or a bad friend or a weak boss, is torn between decisions and runs away from them...you get the drift. It's all stuff we've all gone through at one point or another but it doesn't make for a great read.

It's a cold super snowy Boxing Day and all the stores are still closed, the family is napping/recovering from yesterday's main events so a quiet activity was needed, and so I got to spend my afternoon finishing this. It was a lot better then the past two books. Sienna is back as the main character and a bit more tense then she was in the first book. Things work out well however and I'm glad that things worked out for her and she finally got her life figured out. I'm also a fan of Ace's so was glad that he managed to stick around as well. This was a very satisfying end to Sienna's story.

Wow

Wow....this was the perfect ending to this story. Of course, there was a lot of drama, but the sorry was excellent. These characters are great. Ace is of course added to my ever growing list of book boyfriends. Sienna is a great type A personality but is insecure like most people are. I secretly hope there is more to this story.

Happy Reading Everyone......

Fun but

Three stars as there are some bits that seem to require more information. Saying that i did not read the first two books, this did quite nicely on its own. The main character is very tight, she needs to loosen up. True love does not run smoothly and has everyone scared. You just gotta hold on and enjoy the ride.

Ok

Seems I have read this story before. Same plots but different people. Too predictable for me. Some times the sequel is not as good as the original. Sorry to say this is one of them.

This was a cute clean romance that was well written. I enjoyed the characters and the fact that there was drama, but not too much. And I always love a happy ending!

Romantic

This is good quick read for the beach or simply to reduce your stress level. It is predictable however and at times almost corny. The grammatical errors made me a little crazy but if you have a few hours and need a distraction I would recommend.

This was such a cute story. Lots of drama and lots of wonderful events that turned out beautiful in the end. Along with a lot of drama, there is a lovely romance too. Just loved this book!

Not Quite.

Only half enjoyed this book because aI found the main characters irritating. Why didn't Ace speak up and warn Lisa off? Why did Sienna allow herself to be intimidated by Lisa and Carrie?

Growing into her Own

Event's change and people change. Melissa Baldwin has great little thing going here, a fun, quirky and sometimes dramatically intense storey done in a diary kind style. Kat

Great book!

The drama continues in book 3. It seems like Sienna can’t catch a break and people are jealous of the success on many levels. Even though she questions herself each time, she still comes out on top. I enjoyed her personal growth as the book went on.

awesome series!

This whole series is great, and this particular book is uplifting and downright inspirational. Sienna is a good example of someone set in her ways, who must let go of her fears and insecurities to experience true happiness.
