A STORM IS COMING. Threats ring through Lissie’s mind. The words Morven spoke to her upon his last visit, live in her every breath. They are her fear and her hope. His news of Zale’s departure from Hyvar had brought her a semblance of faith, but as the days wear on and her distance from the merfolk world grows, she finds herself alone. Tasked by the king of Lathmor to practice her siren’s voice, she gains a strength she never knew she had. But with power comes understanding. As the reasons behind Morven’s plans begin to unveil, a note from Zale suddenly appears. His words speak of a dangerous threat on the horizon. Without warning, she is thrust back into the merfolk world where the lines of allegiance are blurred. But this time, she’s stronger. The date of her full transformation looms and as time dwindles, she finds herself in full understanding of what Morven has threatened. The horrors are enough to set her on edge and as her nightmares continue, his voice cries out her new name. A part of her answers back—the siren trying to break free… Get swept away in the final installment of the DROPLETS Trilogy.

After wanting to be a mermaid for years and not sprouting fins, Meaghan decided it was time to write a novel about a girl who is transformed into a mermaid. DROPLETS is Meaghan's debut novel and will be followed by two sequels to complete the series.
In her spare time, Meaghan enjoys reading and brainstorming ideas for other novels. When she isn't sitting down at her computer or reading a book, she can be found spending time with her family or Netflix binging to catch up on her favorite shows (normally while snacking on a bowl of goldfish crackers).

I believe that this is the best book of the series (which is a pretty fantastic series).

There is a nice balance between romance and action. I was on the edge of my seat towards the end of the book, which was pretty great. I did not expect it to end the way it did - which is pretty impressive.

I love Zale and Patrick. I love their character progression and how it all comes together in the end.

I love that Meaghan is a self-published author and that she is contributing to the mermaid world. I can't wait to see what she published next!

Sad to see this end!

I really like this series. It was well balanced between the different elements (action, romance). There was a few times when the descriptions of things or places seemed a little over done and I found myself wanting to skip over them. There were a few small editing oversights over the 3 books but nothing detracting. The story flowed well and I enjoyed the writing style! Overall for being self published and the first series I think this is great! I would definitely love to read anything else Meaghan Rauscher writes!

Absolutely loved the entire series. When I wasn’t reading I was thinking about the book I couldn’t wait to pick it up again and continue reading. I loved the story line and the writing in which the author wrote. Rarely do I write a review I usually just put how many stars I think it is worth. But when I got to the end of the book and read the letter from the author and the verse she had below it I knew I had to leave a comment. I looked forward to reading many more books from Meaghan especially if they are half as good as this series was. Highly recommend reading if you enjoy good clean story lines

This is the last book in the trilogy and I must say all three books are will worth reading. Thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as the others. This story deals with her becoming of age, old enough for her full transformation into a siren mermaid. War between the two merfolk factions comes to a head as she is now in the hands of the enemy. She is under the control of the evil leader and through her voice those that were once her friends are being destroyed and killed. She is told to call her beloved warrior to take his place with her and the evil leader. Events take a turn when the three of them fight and the evil leader losses his life. Friends are lost but for those that remain there is peace again.

Struggled to finish. Strong start though

When u started the series,it was a real page turner but as the series wore on it became overly descriptive. Lissie spent a great deal of the book doubting everything under the sun! Ur just became redundant and hard to believe. Then Morven's death was blah. I kept thinking he'd make an appearance just because he didn't dead. So much had led up to her becoming Marina and then when she was it was expected and uninteresting.

LOVED this Trilogy!

I started this trilogy a little over a week ago and fell in love with it from the moment I started reading. The characters came alive for me and I could totally see them in my mind’s eye. I loved the fantasy of merfolk and the exciting action and the romance that permeated thru each book. I would definitely recommend all three books to anyone who has an imagination.

Laughter and Tears

I wasn't sure when I started the first book. After a very short while I could not stop reading. I laughed and cried and as I read more and more I became so involved with and attached to these characters. In the second book I began the mantra "this better end good, this better end good..." This series was riveting and sure put a different spin to the "merperson" world. I am so glad I chose to read the series.

Great book! Didn't want this series to end and I've read them more than once. Can't believe these 3 books are a debut by a young author.

Meh. A decent, predictable ending to the trilogy but it got long in parts.

A mermaid tale depth

A different kind of tale with a sadistic monarch, a heroine who grows into a tenacious strong mermaid, and a ML who fights with ferocity amidst turmoil. I would rank this story right up there with Shadow and Bones Trilogy. Meaghan paints her stories with beautiful imagery and action that will keep you the last page.

It was truly an epic conclusion to the series, satisfying every question and struggle brought up in the first two books. There were struggles and triumphs, joys and sorrows. Zale and Lissie's unstoppable love for each other was amazing. They faced so many obstacles, including each other, but stayed true, exemplifying the power of forgiveness.

The book concluded not only with an epic final battle and confrontation, but in the same steady pace of the series, gave the reader a beautiful rest in its ending.

For her first series, these books were incredibly well done, with great writing, clean editing, and a fantastic story.

A perfect ending; this is a series I would I highly recommend anyone interested in mermaids, battles against a great evil, redemption, and stories of steadfast and uncompromising love.

I really loved this book. I adored the Droplets, Ripples was good as well but not as good as the first, but this one blew me away. Torrents was the perfect ending to a fast paced fantasy trilogy. Meaghan Rauscher included love and loss, victory and defeat, good and bad, happy and sad and really everything in this novel. It was so good to see how things turned out, and all of the answers that readers had been searching for in the first two novels were given in this one. The book was action packed with romantic elements keeping in with the first two. really, if you haven't given this a try, you definitely should.

Loved it 100%

I loved this whole book series! The books got me in year multiple times because I felt everything that Lissie felt. Just to add to I am not very emotional when it comes to books and movies; but in this book I felt tied to the story like it was all happening in front of me making the years fall shamelessly from my eyes and roll down my cheeks. I recommend this series to anyone who loves fantasy and romance books.

Good series!

I really enjoyed all 3 books in the series but this one was the best. It was difficult to put down and I found myself driven to keep reading and find out what was going to happen. While not everything was unexpected there were some twists and turns. Totally worth the read.
