Bianca D'Arc is the USA Today bestselling author of over 100 romance titles. She has been published traditionally, by a few notable small presses, and indie. Before becoming a full-time writer, she ran a laboratory, a legal department, and jetted around the country on business while working for a Fortune 500 engineering firm.
I absolutely loved the Bianca D'Arc story and would give 5 stars based on that story alone!. But I did enjoy all three stories in the anthology. Each has a different feel and is set in a different world.
"Wings of Change" from Bianca D'Arc provides a new dragon healer who must learn how to use her powers. It also provides a new race of allies for the dragons.
"Knight's Challenge" by Summer Devon gives the story of a woman who figures out she's fighting on the wrong side. But will she learn this in time to save 'her' dragon?
Finally "The Dragon's Demon" by Marie Harte tells what happens when one beautiful demon accidentally bonds with a dragon egg.
I liked the second and third stories better than the first - it just didn't interest me much. The second story by Marie Harte is part demon/dragon series she is writing. I didn't think I'd like it but it is an excellent read. The sequel is Duncan's Descent [available as ebook only:] available from Samhain Publishing. The third story is part of Bianca D'Arc's Dragon Knights series and places between Prince of Spies and Firedrake. Both the second and third stories contain menage sex so if that bothers you - stay away. Good read.
The Summer Devon story was just ok. I didn't really get into it. The Marie Harte story was pretty good, I have to find out if she has more stories written in this series, yet! And of course the Bianca D'arc story is why I read this anthology, as it is part of a series I am reading. As usual, an enjoyable story, really liked it despite the writing style which is not the best.
I, like most readers, enjoyed the Bianca D'Arc and Marie Harte stories best. This was my first story from Marie Harte and I definitely will have to read more by her. I love dragon stories, thanks to the lovely Shelly Laurenston and overall, I was quite happy with this anthology. I think that Bianca D'Arc's story is better suited for those who are familiar with her series as some of the previous H/h are included, albeit briefly.
