Very quick read & extremely delightful especially for a Savage radio fan which I have been for almost 10 years. Many stories I have heard over the years & I have come to know Teddy as all listeners do over time. The photos are immense & very adorable, worth the cost of the book in that regards. Politics & philosophy are there but how could they not be with Savage but like his radio show it is not all about that but about life and especially about the wonder of the human and dog relationship. Loved it! 😊

I have never listened to Michael Savage before so I didn’t know much about the guy. I still feel like I don’t know much about him and I don’t really want to.
I picked up this book because I am a dog lover and was hoping to hear poignant tales about a man’s love for his dog. There was a bit of that. There were LOTS of pictures. It probably took me an hour to read this book because of the amount of pictures.
Michael told a few stories about Teddy and all the other dogs he has had. He also told lots of other stories and talked a bit about religion and politics. It was not the book I thought I was getting and I was disappointed. I did not enjoy the book very much. I would not read it again. If you are a dog lover picking the book up because you love dogs there are many other books out there that are better picks.
I would say this book is almost exclusively for those who like Michael Savage. If you are like me and have never heard of him just skip it.

Teddy and Me Confessions of a Service Human the latest book by Michael Savage. It will be released by Center Street Hachette Book Group this February 7th. In this book the entertainer will focus his attention on his relationship with Teddy, his beloved little dog.
You mustn't wait a book like the one written by John Grogan: it's not another Marley&Me but reflections of the story of the reporter and his canine friend with many private human facts and with a lot of doggy anecdotes.
The book is a photographic very colored celebration of Michael Savage's life with his beloved Teddy with a lot of pictures of their daily life. Teddy is very trendy: surely he has the most aggressive, strong hair cut of the Planet.
Mr.Savage loves to treat him in the best possible way and their life as also explain the author, symbiotic.
Teddy is the dog of the reporter from a long time and in the book Savage will tell to the readers also the experiences he shared with other past family dogs adding that he has always been surrounded by dogs, male dogs. He has had just a female dog and the story of this Collie is very beauty and moving.
I loved to read of his experience with his unlucky brother and the reason why he became who he is right now. I didn't know Mr Savage and his personal story being italian but I could see reading this book that there was real sufferance in the life of this man.
I also loved the anecdotes he shared of his family when during his childhood when he lived in the Bronx, NYC smiling guests arrived uninvited at his house for a chat with his parents. In our corner of the world it still happens all the time and it's a symptom of freedom according to my point of view.
Many wonderful and tender pictures of the reporter with his beloved pet.
I would have avoided to add in the book the pictures of his previous book Government Zero and policy. This one a book dedicated to a dog and his owner. Policy and polemics should be kept away.
I suggest this book to everyone but in particular of course to all dog lovers of this Planet. You will find it cute.

Teddy and Me: Confessions of a Service Human is a wonderful tribute to man's best friend. If eyes are the windows to the soul, look closely at the picture of Teddy on the page opposite the title page. Michael Savage has expressed in words and pictures what so many of us feel for our beloved pets.
Chapters have super titles like "You Can Judge People by How They Treat Dogs", "Best Friends:", and "Teddy is My Copilot". The full-page photographs of Teddy and Michael are magnificent. Scanning through it now makes me want to read it again. I think I will!

I picked this up because I'm a dog lover. No much substance, I had not heard about Michael Savage. Just the little bits that I picked up from the book, I probably would not read his titles. Great pics of Teddy.

An odd and gently evangelical picture book about Savage and his little gray poodle, Teddy, who i think is desperately in need of a good poodle-clip grooming. I’m not a listener of Savage’s radio show, but picked this quick-read up at a library sale and did enjoy it.

Michael Savage was able to express in words what lies in my heart. I feel humble for all the love my dog gives me. His name is Jack and in his eyes I am this wonderful person that can not do wrong.

Great relaxing read!
Listening to Dr. Savage on the radio is like sitting on your front porch with an old friend, just talking about life and
solving the worlds problems over drinks and a few snacks. This book, much lighter than most, shows us the lighter side of Michael and the true nature of the man. A great read!

Great little dog, great little book.
Let me start by saying that I am not the biggest Savage fan, though I do listen to his show occasionally, and always enjoy his wide variety of topics. One of the topics I have grown to particularly enjoy is that of Teddy. I almost feel as if I know the little guy, and love it when he contributes his "two cents' worth" to the show. He's obviously a great little dog, and Dr. Savage obviously loves him. That love comes through in this simple little book, and for that reason I found it well worth the time. Great job, Dr. Savage.

Very sweet little book about a man and his dog. It's too bad he brought some politics into some of it. But most of the book was very sweet besides the political asides. Definitely not a fan of Michael Savage's politics.

It was an obviously quick read with some humorous stories. Mr. Savage lost me for a bit when he began preaching in the middle, as well as his explaining his "gift" of a voice, but overall it was an okay half-hour.

Savage is my favorite human being but this book is weak. 5 for pics, 2 for content

September 4, 2018 but he always keeps some distance between his personal life and his radio persona. He never mentions his wife, and rarely his two children. One comment that surprised me is Teddy is the only dog he takes to restaurants. I didn't know he has more dogs! He mentioned the tragedy with Jerome, which is heartbreaking, and the fact that Muslims don't like dogs..(true! ) He repeats the phrase "righteous indignation" a million times :-) so what...I love listening to his show every day. I live in Israel, and Michael reminds me the America that I love and admire, and how quickly it is disappearing under the subversive, thin smoking snake in the white house. Michael, you are an inspiration to me...every morning I take my do to the dog park, and as she plays with other dogs I his baby blue Bianchi Bike, I would be even happier!! But I live thousands of miles from him, so I guess it will never happen. Thank you for the book.Thank you for your radio. You are my gift every day..WAYY TOO SHORT
