I happen to be a huge fan of this series. I was so relieved when Jack and Donna eliminated some of the worse targets (including Carl Stone) and put Quorum leader Eric Weber in maximum security prison. I was thrilled that Donna and Jack were FINALLY on their honeymoon and able to enjoy it. Then BOOM! Explosions, Ghosts, and bad guys are everywhere. *sigh* What did I really expect? This is Donna and Jack Craig, ACME agents I am talking about. So many intriguing situations in this book-how does a ghost get in to visit Trisha? Who leaks secret documents? Who can the POTUS trust? One thing for sure, Jack and Donna are a team to be feared by Quarum members and terrorists alike. I'm glad they are on "our" side! Once again Josie Brown has written a fast paced book filled with good characters, evil villains, family issues, and a lot of love. My only complaint is the book was over too quickly! I could have read another 20 chapters! Oh well, I guess that's another reason to re-read the series. (You definitely want to read these books in order-otherwise you will be totally confused as to characters in this book both dead and alive.) Good news for us all. The next book in the series is due out in November 2016! I can't wait!
This latest adventure in the lives of the Craug family, once again puts both Donna and Jack at risk of being terrorists.
First, the both run across people whom they know they've killed, and end up having to re-kill them, most notably, Salah el Salem and the pinky ring guy.
They inadvertently discover that there is a top secret program called Hercules that is being researched, and that the Quorum has stolen information about this from a meeting Lee has had with the reearchers involved.
As more goats turn up, including Carl and Tatyana, with DNA to match, it's clear that the Quorum is using the project Hercules info to change, strengthen, and brainwash their operatives.
Of course, things are all set right, and all the fun characters have a part to play.
Now, sadly, I'm all caught up on this series, and have to wait like everyone else for the next book to come out. It will be in my calendar.
What I wouldn't give to have the skills and bravado of Donna. She is the ultimate super woman! Wife, mother, guardian and super assassin. She literally saves the world once again. And with the help of her hunky new husband and the cast of Acme they thwart the evilness of the Quorum and take down the bad guys!!
Great book. Josie Brown and Housewife Assassin never fail to entertain! Can't wait for Jack and Donna's next adventure!!
This story get better with each book and I hope this is really the last we see of Carl. Donna can finally put that part of her life in the past and move forward.
When I was almost finished, I really thought this might be the series finale -- and a great one. SURPRISE, HA #14 Terrorist TV Guide will be out in November 2016 :)
This book literally starts off with a bang: an assassination attempt on our heroine Donna Stone (now Craig). The action continues from there with Donna Craig getting into all kinds of scrapes and escaping bad guys who not only want to kill her but also have the hots for her. Through it all, she succeeds in avoiding both the unwanted sex and death. Funny, exciting and as always, a terrific read. Josie Brown has done it yet again!
This book had all my favorites, but not enough of them! I want more silly Abu ice cream truck and pie transactions, nor womanizing Dominick, and more bad influence Aunt Phyllis! Despite this, I of course loved this book. The ghosts of Acme's past are a fun plot.
I loved this series! Mom by day, assassin/honey pot by night. Can’t get much better than that! I loved the humor, personalities of the characters and the series really gives you it all: romance, comedy, and messy motherhood
I have always enjoyed reading this series but because of all the missing pages the plot was unreadable. I would get two or three pages into the chapter then a blank page then it would pickup in another page so it was hard to follow the story plot.
