Ok , don't roll your eyes at this little book because of its title! haha This book is actually a small powerhouse of effective spellwork. Most of us older witches would cringe if people knew we had this book sitting on our shelves but I have to laugh. You know the saying, never judge a book by its cover..and title in this case ;) It's been very useful and effective! :)
I was given this book as a birthday present from a beloved witchy friend of mine many years ago. She claimed the book fell off a shelf in a bookstore and hit her on her foot, and she immediately thought of me.
Of course with both of us being seriously seasoned witches, we thought it was a cute little joke book. I assure you, IT IS NOT. I have used this book (along with my own knowledge and grimoire) so many times, I can't even count, and with great success. That includes, finding the home of my dreams, acquiring a great job, getting nasty individuals to leave me alone, etc. My favorite? Getting my horrible upstairs neighbors to move (to a nicer place of course) and out from over my head! My second favorite? Teaching a trifling boyfriend a lesson about playing fast and loose with one's heart -"He just can't have fun without me..."
As with all "magical cookbooks", you have to know how to "spice up the recipe" rather than just follow it blindly with no part of yourself added to it. The results will also be better if you do the former, provided you know what to do...
So yes, the spells in this book do work, if you know how to go about it...and if you don't, perhaps exploring other ways to solve your problem magically might be best for now...
I have no idea why I bought this little book back in 1999 or so. Even when I was a witch, I was a bit miffed at the title. Black magic or the mistaken belief that witches can turn people into toads is something modern witches and pagans have been battling with for hundreds of years.
("She turned me into a newt! I got better." -- Monty Python and the Holy Grail)
I see this is listed as humor on Goodreads, but it's not funny. It's just a short recipie book of spells and a few amazingly brief lists of magical correspondences. Most of the text is paired with cute black and white illustrations. The illustrations give this nothing book an extra star.
By the way, you can't turn anyone into a toad. Also, none of the spells work. That's because magick doesn't work. Grow the fuck up.
Even when I was a witch, I thought this was a waste of money. Only useful for others to see what modern spells look like. I lost the book sometime in my past, and I have no plans to replace it.
I have not seen anything so perfect as Dr. Oaikhen spell, I have always lived a life of a happy man but when my lover left me then everything about me changed, This was because I loved her so much and at times she was always part of my daily life. I was in pain for some days till I came across Dr. Oaikhen confidential details which led me to contact Dr. Oaikhen and through his help my lover who left me came back to me and right now she is more interested in me than before. These are some of the things you intend to benefit from when you contact Dr. Oaikhen through the following details via WhatsApp: at +229 5794 6279
This is a pretty cute little book that I bought years ago and have recently re-discovered among a pile of other books in my room. I guess it's rather silly if you think "magic" will solve your problems but this book does have some practical advice in it, although delivered through a more unconventional way. Basically the book just helps put you in a certain mind set and helps you visualize what you want (which is what most self-help books do). Tiger Woods, the golfer, had stated as much before when asked how he played golf so well, he said he looked at the course and/or the hole and see's himself sinking the shot. If you believe in it hard enough, you can make anything happen for you, and that's always good advice. The rest of the ritual, with the candles and the incense is basically just icing, I'm sure your state of mind and drive to achieve your goal accounts for 90% of your success but a little bit of good luck can't hurt either and if you can boost it through these seemingly silly rituals, why not? At the very least, it helps you psyche yourself up more and plus it's a bit of entertainment for you. Overall, this book is pretty cool and a bit of fun, in not practical, reading.
This book is fun! There is a little star power spot with spell in the front of the book to help power up your magic. I tried the spell to get an annoying person off your back - involves a smmall container for water, a smmall piece of fish or mmeat, folded paper w/ person's namme on it, spell-chant and a freezer. I think it actually worked, b/c after a while, the person stopped talking to mme. (Mmy intent wasn't to freeze her out of mmy life.) I finally took the styro-cup and our working relationship resummed but with mmore respect on her part. I think everyone has 'powers'. I'mm not all hyped up on witchcraft. I prefer call mmy powers: focus- pocus and wishcraft!
