Great title, great cover, great photos ...............but scratch below the surface and I'm really not sure about this cookbook at all.
Call me old fashioned but I still think a recipe book really is all about the recipes and I try not to get side-tracked by anything else.
A review called this a 'hipster cook book' whatever that might mean, but I guess that description confirms I'm no hipster!
Maybe the whole chapter devoted to 'Hangover Recipes' is supposed to be trendy or maybe even amusing but I actually found it rather sad. I've personally never seen such a subject given its own chapter in a cookbook before and I hope I never do again.

I was hard pressed to find a recipe in this book that tempted me enough to take action and try making it, which I find sad. Overall, it seems like an eclectic assortment with quite a number of recipes featuring eggs.

This book features some of the most original recipes I've seen in cookbooks. And I read a lot of cookbooks.
The recipes are tempting and the photos are beautiful.

Another lovely looking recipe book. The sign of a good one is if reading through gives you a list of ingredients to buy and a series of recipes to try asap. Toast, Hash etc certainlyan aged to pull this off. I think this may be one of my go to books from now on.
