I was never meant to have a happily ever after.
It was a fate I accepted a long time ago.
Before he came for me, taking away who I am, I needed to escape.
Just for one night.
One man turned my entire world upside down.
I should have walked away, but something about him wouldn’t let me.
Now I’m lying to him.
He’s going to find out the truth, or my life will catch up to me.
Either way, I lose him.
It’s a thought I can’t bear.
People have always told me love is amazing and powerful.
They’re wrong.
It makes you weak…exposing your vulnerabilities…making you easy prey.
Love is heinous.

4 "Her Biker Savior" Stars and 4.5 Narration Stars!

MC Romance alpha hero lovers will not want to miss Heinous. Featuring a feisty heroine who decides to indulge in a decadent fling before she succumbs to her inevitable, terrible plight, Heinous presents us with a worthy heroine who inadvertently finds her biker in shining (or, perhaps in this case, leather) armor.

The true background of the heroine, Nikki, is kept a secret throughout most of the story both from the hero and the reader/listener. The one thing we do know is that Nikki is trying to enjoy her last few days of freedom. Although she is looking forward to making the most of these last few days, she is equally resigned that there is no way out for her, so she decides to keep this fact hidden even from the one man who makes her wish her future were different.

A chance encounter brings MC member "Twist" and Nikki together. But one time is not enough for Twist and he finds himself wanting more from this unique and self-confident woman, even if he can tell she is keeping something secret. But Twist has his own secrets and he's perfectly happy giving her the time Nikki needs to get comfortable enough to reveal what she has been hiding.

Will Nikki finally reveal her secret before it is too late? What is she keeping from Twist? And will Twist, and the Deathstalkers MC, be able to save Nikki from her bad fortune before it's too late?

Meghan Kelly delivers a talented narration in Heinous. I loved that she gave each character a personality specific voice that helped me easily envision the character and brought the story to life. From the tough sounding Twist, who I could totally see as a rough and yet sexy biker, to the spunky Nikki, Ms. Kelly nails each character. Ms. Kelly even managed to impart a more vulnerable sounding tone to Nikki's voice when she is facing the more action and danger filled scenes in this book.

Ms. Kelly also paces her delivery optimally, which allows the listener to sit back and enjoy the story, and sets each scene with the appropriate mood by convincingly varying her pace to match the emotion being conveyed in the scene.

Perhaps my only observation is that there were a number of places in the audiobook where the volume seems to lessen for a few seconds--almost like in the editing of the story a small portion may have been overlayed into an existing segment. I didn't factor this into the narration grade, as I believe it is more of a production effect.

All in all, I enjoyed Heinous and look forward to more of the Deathstalkers MC series. I also really liked Ms. Kelly's pleasing voice, and thought she did a great job in telling this story. I can't wait to listen to more of Ms. Kelly's narrations.

3.5 Ride it Star’s

I am on the fence. I enjoyed the book but I didn’t love it and that’s ok right. I don’t have to love everything I read. I sure liked it. I felt for these characters and what they had to go through.

Twisted… Wow he really is lmao. Perfect name for him. I loved how he didn’t waver in his lust/love for Nikki. He isn't your topical leading man either. I think that's part of his charm.

Nikki, this girl my heart goes out to her. Not only with what she gets put through but from her past. If that doesn’t mess someone up I don’t’ know what will. And Daddy yeah grade A Douche!
Communication people I wanted to shout this out many times! But you got to keep us working for it right.

I like the narrators voices for each character brings the story to life. Enjoyed and looking forward to more by this author.

Josie's Review 4.5 STARS

I was fortunate enough to read Corrupt the first book in the Deathstalkers series and I fell in love with the characters. Ms. Noelle writing style is very absorbing and the plot is very well written. It had me completely enthralled from start to finish. The characters are complexed and their story is very unique, harsh, and beautifully agonizing.

Nikki and Twist are perfect together. Each not wanting anything permanent, but yet after their first encounter there was no turning back. An encounter which was hot, hot, hot (something along the lines of night beach sex)! Twist is immediately taken in by Nikki’s fierceness, sexiness, spunk and feisty side. He did not want anything permanent but he knew he knew he had to have her. If you read the first book you know Twist was not the guy to settle for just one woman, so to see him fall for Nikki was so much fun. Twist is a loyal person. He is loyal to his brothers in the MC, loyal to his friends and family and even more loyal to the woman that stole his heart.

Nikki was such a contradiction to the reality her character is facing. She is very objective and self-sufficient. She’s very closed off and does not look for the tomorrows in her life. She lives for the moment. Knowing her days and freedom are slowly closing in her she plans to enjoy her time with Twist. She never dreamed she would fall in love with the big, bad biker. She knows she can never truly tell Twist the truth about her life and what plans await her.

Twist and Nikki are perfect together. They are the ying to their yang. Twist is a total alpha male and extremely dominant and Nikki is not one that likes to be bossed around. I found the banter between them hilarious. Heinous is fast paced and is filled with MC drama, humor, hot dirty talking biker sex, grit and some suspenseful moments. Can Twist save Nikki from a fate when she if given no choice to accept? Will Nikki walk away from Twist in order to keep the ugly truth of her reality from him? I really loved the storyline and these characters. I can’t wait to see what this author brings us next.

I was provided a copy of Heinous in exchange for an honest review.  The start of the story was a little off putting; I didn’t like Nikki’s character at all, and almost stopped within the first 5 minutes.  I’m glad I didn’t because I really got into the story and Nikki grew on me; I learned to love her, you really can’t help but to.

This isn’t typically the type of story I like where you're informed that something's going to happen to change everything; but not being told what or why.  I usually find it frustrating, but Noelle wrote the story in the perfect way to lead readers to fall in love with Nikki and Twisted; it made sense to draw things out the way she did. When we get to the culmination of Nikki’s fears, it's heart wrenching and vile; I would have liked a little warning that the book contained such dark subject matter.  However, I am glad that it was glassed over, but it still gave me chills.

Meghan Kelly did a fantastic job with the narration.  Not only did she do different voices, but she made it clear when the character was having an inner monologue.  Her delivery and inflection were perfection, and I was brought to tears at the aforementioned darker subject matter.

Overall; Heinous is a great listen, with a superb narrator, and if you are into the MC genre, it is not to be missed....Sara

Twisted and Nikki Story

We met Twisted in Corrupted.I have to say that I really liked him then as he seemed to be the softer of the bunch of his bada** biker brothers.Twisted meets Nikki randomly one night for a one night stand that turned out to be so much more...Another great story in the DeathStalkers Mc series. One thing I have learned when reading this series is that you are going to be reading a heart wrenching story.

There are several things that I loved about the story and a few things that annoyed me but, overall all it was a fantastic read. What I disliked is that Nikki did not shared any details of what she was running from.I could have understood if her man was a suit or every day joe but, Twisted was a man who would have understood .I get that everyone is entitled to their secrets but, she had someone in a position to help her or at least advise her how to escape her situation .I also disliked that when she did spill about things that happened to her she didn't tell the whole truth. Knowing, these things will come back and haunt you later on.I just feel she should have had more faith in him.I feel that their entire relationship she never fought for them as a couple.I know that she loved him so , it made it harder for me to understand the decisions she made .I believe she made the wrong choice's she should have put her trust in him.

I always pick a favorite character and mine would have to be Twisted. He is such a great guy he is caring, has a softer side and has a sense of humor around those he cares about.Twisted is also a very protective and possessive of those he cares about.Although we see the softer side of him occasionally but ,don't get me wrong he is deadly.I like that he is the take charge kind of guy that does not crack under pressure. I liked that he never gives up on what he wants. His motto "its worth the wait.''I also loved how he deals with all the old ladies of the club who he truly cares about and is a charmer to boot. They love him !Twisted has waited a long time to care about someone. With his messed up childhood and trust issues in which he has not dealt with, he figured he was to scarred for someone to love.I feel the loneliness in him.In Nikki though he senses all these same things and he knows she is running from something. Kindred spirits perhaps?I could sense Twisted's frustrations and pain because I believe he would like to have let down his guard for once.I feel that he would really like to give himself to someone and find love and happiness .You sense his longing.

I loved the chemistry between this couple .Their sexual encounters were super hot and playful events.Nikki and Twisted make a great couple but, to her its only temporary. My heart breaks for her as she knows her freedom is coming to an end.Nikki believes that she will never be able to escape her past. You constantly catch glimpses of her sadness it breaks your heart to see her hurting so much.I loved how she taunts and teases Twisted all the time ,it was funny to see.At these instants you could not help but laugh.I felt Nikki's pain as she falls in love with Twisted knowing she will never be able to tell him how she feels.Nikki's aura is filled with sadness, loneliness and fear.Nikki would be the perfect fit for Twisted as she has a temper , is feisty, has a sense of humor and is familiar with the MC Life. She also is not naive to hardships of what life deals you ,she has lived them.

The story had everything you could ask for.The story has a mystery to solve, love, laughter, drama, danger, hot sex,bad boys, sexy hot men and friends and family. All of those other characters and their old ladies in the story with their ups and downs helped make it a great read.I just love reading books in series where the character's grace the pages from book to book.I just love that. This story was definitely an emotional roller coaster. The emotional pain was gripping at times and your heart broke for each and everyone of these characters.

This story is not for those who are light hearted. This story deals with rape both adult and childhood ,torture, graphic sex and foul mouth men.All these things through made a compelling fast pace heart wrenching read.Your emotions making you happy, sad, terrified, scared and pissed off all at the same time.

Another great installment in the DeathStalkers MC Trilogy. (This was book Two) A 5 star read from us here a Angels.I highly recommend this book if your a big fan of MC romance and Bad Boys.

Some serious sassy hotness

After the first book I couldn't wait to read Twisted's story, and damn was it a good one.

Twisted is the VP of the Deathstalkers. He has a dark past that haunts him, but he doesn't allow that to interfere with club business. Twisted is happy with warming his bed with a new woman every night and not being tied down to one. The thought of having to explain himself, or having to deal with the mediocre stuff that comes with relationships makes him cringe. That is until Nikki the firecracker comes along.

Nikki's life is up in shambles and all she wants is to catch a break, and she finds that when Twisted wedges himself in her life. With the clock ticking down, she selfishly allows her guard down and welcome Twisted in. Unbeknownst to him that it'll all have to end sooner rather than later.

A book filled with deception, lust, sex and betrayal, but I wouldn't have my books any other way.

Torn on my rating for this one. The story wasn't bad, but it didn't excite me or thrill me. It was a bit predictable as well.

I read along with the audiobook using the whispersync function and think the narrator maybe had a hand in the experience. It's hard to enjoy an MC being narrated solely by a female, even when it's his/her POV. I believe I would have enjoyed it better with a male narrator on audio as well.

The characters were good. I liked Nikki's feisty, sarcastic and playful side and could totally see all those traits appealing to Twisted. She kept him on his toes and her fire kept him hot; which led to some smokin' chemistry.

FAVORITE QUOTES:

It’s been a week since Hurricane Nikki rolled into my life and everything I swore I would never fucking do or want is happening. The girl is a damn addiction for me.

"You, my little firecracker, whether you want to accept it or not, will be mine. I will have you and you will fucking love it."

“You’re not the only one who can act like a tease.”
Dammit. “Really? You’re playing that game right now?”
“Baby, I have a feeling with us, this game will never end.”

4 Firecracker stars

Another brilliant MC read just like the previous book in the series.

Filled with action and MC goodness.

Twisted is one of those characters you want to see find his girl in Corrupted he treated Lucy who is now Whips o'l lady Like his little sister, you get a glimpse of his backstory when he shows Lucy his scars, so my interest in his character was already piqued.

Nikki is a feisty character & a good match for Twisted she's's a take no crap kind of girl.

This is one of those story's where a one night stand turns into more.

A bit about the plot:
Nikki has been given a few months to herself and have freedom before she has to pay for her fathers debt were she is the payment and Nikki intends on having as much freedom as possible this is when she first meets Twisted.

An interesting plot with Nikki having the secret of being on countdown and Twisted unaware his time with Nikki is limited.

Both fall hard for each other but the clock is ticking.

Told in dual pov's Heinous is another of Alexis Noelle's books I couldn't put down. Great characters a plot that contains everything you would expect in an MC read, dirty talking alpha biker, hot scenes, violence and euphoria.

looking forward to more in the series, reading as part of a box set.

Can be read as a standalone.

Well if you “know” me than you know that I do not read MC books. Why ? I simply don’t because their blurbs usually do not appeal to me.

Having said that – the next thing to say is that I just read “Heinous” (Deathstalkers MC #2) by Alexis Noelle.

Wait … What?

Yeah you read correctly I just read one of the books that I do not read.

And this is where it becomes interesting. Something about that blurb really spoke to me and I thought I would take the chance. This was the second book of that series but I had no problems to read it as a standalone.

What can I say… I was not disappointed.

I would not go as far as to say I am now a reformed MC reader – no far from it.

But the writing style of this particular author is compelling and well developed that it drew me into a surrounding that I feel normally not comfortable with.

The characters were painfully well developed and the story was painfully too.

So if you are looking for bunnies and roses I am afraid you came to the wrong place.

Heinous is when love gets in the way of an ugly reality

Heinous is when lovers see no light at the end

Heinous is when fairytales die

This is the second book in the Deathstalkers series I've had the pleasure of reading. This book follows Twisted and Nikki. Twisted is the VP for Deathstalkers. He never takes a second look at same woman. That all changes after a run in with Nikki. I loved how bossy and dominating he was. Even more so how loving and deeply protective he was. He doesn't know her story, or what she's hiding, but he will fight to keep what they have.
Nikki needs a distraction from what's going to become of her life in her very near future. She didn't expect one night with Twisted to make her want much more. I hated that she felt she couldn't tell Twisted the truth. I felt like if she trusted him enough, they could come up with a solution. At the same time I like how brave she was. She knew there was no way out. They would come for her when her time was up and she didn't want to get Twisted involved and start a war.
There was a nice flow to the story and once again Alexis kept me anxious for more. We get more of the club brothers this time and round also, still there for each other and having one another's backs. I love the camaraderie and protectiveness they all had. They're a true family and I'll continue to read the rest of the series as more books come out.

This is book two in the “Deathstalkers MC” series. I have not read the first one, and I don’t feel like I missed out on anything in this story, for not reading the first one. In other words… can be read as a standalone.

This story had me from the very beginning. I love a story that has a spunky, and strong woman and that is Nikki in a nutshell. Nikki has a secret and has walls built all around her.
All she was looking for was a fun, one night stand that turned into a fun time with “Twisted”.

“Twisted” is the sexy VP of the MC and comes meets Nikki the night she is looking for fun. The night she tells a big biker dude that he had sex with his cousins, and that peeked Twisted’s interest in her.

There are tons of secrets that the two of them have to work through, but once the secrets are revealed, are they able to work past them? All I can say is it gets HOT AN HEAVY and the chemistry between the two of them is fantastic.

This is the first story that I have read by Alexis Noelle, and now that I have found her, it won’t be my last.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, love, friendship, pain, secrets, abuse, and heartbreak.

Before reading this story please read the below books first
Corrupted (Deathstalkers MC #1)

This is Nikki and Cameron’s (Twisted) story. Nikki just needs one night to forget. Twisted might just be the one person who can make her forget. What was supposed to be one night is just not enough? The chemistry is off the charts. Both of these characters have a sad and painful past. When it all comes to light will it be over for them or will it make them understand each other better. This is a fast paced story and will keep you on the edge of your seat. So sit back and enjoy the ride. Twisted is a protector and it will come out full force as the story go on. He will do anything to protect his club, his brothers, his club family, and Nikki. Even if it means fighting his past demons in the process.

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

I am a fan of MC books and very few people can do it justice.
I think Alexis did very well as far as writing the MC but I did feel the story was slow in some parts and rushed in others.
I loved the sass of Nikki and omg that detail about her past had me gobsmacked.
Twisted came from a past that he wanted to forget and never talk about but when it came to Nikki, he had to channel that past.
I love the storyline and look forward to reading more about this MC.
I was very surprised that it was the second book in the series because I couldn't tell that at all so I'll be one clicking the first book to see what's going on.

I really recommend this book especially if you want a love story about two misfits just looking for fun that turn into something so much stronger.

Heinous is the second book in the Deathstalkers MC series but I didn't read the first and it can be read as a standalone with no problem. The book jumps right into the action in more ways than one. I had trouble in the beginning really connecting but I honestly think it's because we just jumped right in with little intro to either main character. But the story is so fast paced and emotionally developed that the connection did come.
Twisted and Nikki are both no nonsense types but mesh well together right from the start. This is a good dirty, drama, sizzling hot MC read and will go read book 1.

Loving this series!

Nikki is the perfect woman for Twisted. Her snarky attitude perfectly balances him. But what we see of Nikki is not the full story...when the truth came out - I couldn't believe it! Twisted knows right from the beginning she is the woman for him - he just has to convince her. When we get Nikki's full story, we understand why she was so hesitant to commit. What this woman goes through is painful, my heart hurt for her.

Alexis you better be writing your fingers to the bone after that little teaser for the next book!

For all its faults and a way too rushed plot, this was a story I just couldn’t help myself enjoying. Which is impressive for me since I am usually very judgmental when it comes to the writing and build up to a story. While I found the story lackluster in many ways, there were so many ways I also liked it.

Heinous had kind of a rough start for me, jumping directly into the plot with little thought or exposition behind it. It also didn’t help that Nikki got on my nerves from the get go. While I get what the author was going for, with wanting her to seem independent, edgy and taking no BS from anyone, I found her incredibly rude and, well, a total bitch. It really felt off for me since I don’t think anyone in real life would be drawn or attracted to that kind of personality. Yet Twisted of course was completely turned on from her foul attitude and was almost a bit too aggressive about it for my liking. Luckily, the characters mellowed out somewhat later on and the story itself slowed down and gave a bit more emotional depth to the characters, which also helped me see the sense in why they behaved the way they did.

From there on, I was drawn in. What mostly did it was the underlying ticking time bomb that we didn’t really knew what it was. That it was kept vague, yet distressful and constantly a hanging threat over Nikki’s head kept me hooked with wanting to know what would happen to her. And then we started getting hints that something dark lingered in Twisted’s past and I suddenly was addicted to the story. Since the characters had mellowed out their too out there personalities I even started to like both Twisted and Nikki and their playful banters as well as the more serious romantic moments. It built up to a explosive revelation and a beautiful, yet twisted ending.

The story was still too rushed and missed some depth, but it slowed down enough for me to find the small enjoyments and see a development in both and relationships. I had however wished that the author had taken more time with the book and given it the necessary depth that I saw in the first book, especially at the ending. After having been through such a traumatic experience Nikki didn’t seem to be scarred by it, even a little bit, which is just so unrealistic and unsatisfying. There wasn’t that darkness Lucy had to struggle through, nor any explanation about the “deal” Nikki had with her father, like why she even agreed to it or didn’t fight/run away from it to begin with. It saddens me a bit that there were such potential for a deeper plot and complex characters and it was not properly taken advantage of. Therefore I give this book three stars at most.

3.5 Sometimes two crazies makes one whole stars

Genre: Adult MC Romance
Part 2 of an ongoing series

My Heinous Review . . .

Corrupted was my first Alexis Noelle book and it had me pleasantly surprised making want to continue with this author and this series.  In Heinous we get Twisted's story.  After shit went down in Corrupted it elevated Twisted to the new VP of the Dealthstalkers MC.  He loves the brotherhood and he also lives with the philosophy of no repeats where it comes to woman.  Well, that was until one night with a firecracker named Nikki.

"You know, you could always ask before you just assume shit."

Nikki has a secret and wants just one night of freedom. So, when this bear of a man takes her on she plans on enjoying every moment of it.  What she didn't count on was the connection and spark that was between them causing one night to be so much more.

Nikki tried to fight it knowing she had a deadline but something about Twisted made her want more.  Knowing the MC she didn't believe there was any hope to her predicament so she kept it a secret.  We all know that never works but Nikki had to find that out the HARD way.

Twisted thinks Nikki may be a bit crazy but that is what has him all fired up about her and wanting more from her.  For the first time he wants a repeat with no end.  Now he just has to convince Nikki of this.

Nikki and Twisted work together.  Both of their crazies balance each other out.  However, when Nikki's secret comes to the forefront Twisted's crazy takes an elevation when there's his heart and future on the line.

" . . . Be whatever you need to, just don't break.  Don't give anyone the power to make you into someone you don't choose to be.  Then he wins, dead or not."

If only Nikki had trusted in what 'mine' meant she would have prevented so much heartache and trauma.  Once Nikki's issue made it to the surface it was a bit too similar to Lucy's tragedy but not as horrific.  However, it will still be needing lots of therapy to recover from.  Thankfully Twisted and the Deathstalkers are family and family stick together to help each other out.

I quite liked this story and I'm completely invested with this series. I can't wait Havoc for Tracie and Torch's story.   Lately a lot of MC stories are coming across pretty light and fluffy but this series so far has a nice balance of gritty & raw with love and contentment.

The tittle for this books says it all because...Ewwwwww!!! What the fuck is up with the father's of the female leads in these books! You're suppose to protect and treasure your children, not feel glee when they're being hurt and degraded! Seriously..WTF!!!!

I enjoyed book one a lot more than this book. Not only is this second book even more disturbing than its predecessor, Twisted was just so much more demanding than Jordan was. Jordan was strong and tough but had the ultimate sweet side that you can't help but fall in love with. Twisted..eh not so much. He never asks or discusses, he just assumes and takes, while that alpha quality works in some instances, I feel like it missed its mark here, it was just to fucking much. I swear that Nikki didn't make not one decision for herself throughout this entire book and that shit was just plain fucking annoying and disappointing since she liked to talk a whole bunch of trash!

The book moved at a more rapid pace than book one so it wasn't as enjoyable, Twisted and Nikki weren't from zero to sixty pretty fucking fast, it was just to unrealistic for me.

4.5 Twisted finally meets his match and let me tell you Nikki knows how to twist him all up. Nikki has secrets she doesn't want to get messed up with anyone especially a Biker and she has her reasons. Reasons she isn't willing to share. She finally caves and decides what time she has left free she will give herself to Twisted she has fallen for him. She won't tell him what she is running from and she is afraid that he will get himself killed if she tells him. She knows clubs have rules and she doesn't think he can help because of that. Then the time comes she has to face the music and go back with her father. Twisted wants to look for her but he has club business to handle first but, he is shocked when he finds Nikki on the floor at the meeting he is having with a rival club. He wants his woman back but they say they had claimed her first but their claiming was against her will. Twisted will fight to the death for his woman. And come out the victor. My only dislike is I hope all the books aren't gonna end in rape. And what about Viper? I can't believe he's taking it this well.

This is the second book in this series and I think they should be read in order to fully get the whole picture but it can be read as a standalone if you want to. This book isn’t an easy love. It’s about when love hurts and life gets in the way. Both Nikki and Twisted have had a hard life. Will they finally find their happiness or will the hurt continue? It was supposed to one night to help Nikki forget what she was going through; a night to just do what she wanted to do something for her to help her forget. Once Twisted (Cameron) got a taste of Nikki he wanted more. Twisted never slept with the same girl twice and he wasn’t looking to find an old lady. Once he saw Nikki all that changed. Nikki has a mouth like no other. She doesn’t care what anyone thinks she says and does what she wants but may be a front on to protect herself. What she is dealing with is horrible she should just tell Twisted but she is certain he can’t help her and the club won’t be able to protect her or want to. Twisted knows Nikki isn’t telling him something, that she is running from something. He just can’t get her to tell him what it is. How can he protect her when she won’t tell him why she needs it? He does get her to tell him some of her past and he tells her some of his. Twisted has a horrible childhood and it has scared both his body and mind. When things come to a head will Twisted be able to help her or will everything she was scared of happen? I love Nikki, I feel like everything would have been different if she just told Twisted. But then the story wouldn’t have had that moment it needed. I feel for Twisted and what he went through as a child. I am sure Nikki’s situation wasn’t much better. They are so perfect for each other. I liked getting to read about the characters from the first book and look forward to reading more books in this series.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.

As much as I loved the first one, this one was just as good! Nikki was a smartmouthed firecracker as Twisted likes to call her. They both didn't want to have a full-time relationship for different reasons. But when Twisted met Nikki he couldn't get enough, he just had to convince her.
The bickering between these two was funny, as well trying to one up each other.
They each had their own secrets, in Corrupted when Lucy was attacked and Twisted was talking to her he showed her his scars. In this book you finally learn how he got them. Which was the main reason I read this book lol. No j/k, I really like the way the author writes and how she makes her characters come alive and you feel you are watching a movie in your head. Well I do, don't know about you? Can't wait to continue on with the series!

The title for this book is most fitting. The things Twisted and Nikkie experienced were heinous crimes.

Twisted experience of his childhood tore me apart inside, its heartbreakingly tragic, his parents were monsters of the worst kind.

I was already reeling from Twisted's tragedy, then, see what happened to Nikkie. it was agonisingly spirit breaking. tears was streaming down my face. I wanted to get my hands on her sperm donor because he is definitely not a father, he is the monster of all monsters, a devil.

My heart was wrecked and completely destroyed in some parts in this story, I am elated with the HEA  and over the moon Nikkie's (so call) father met his end. It was too quick though, he should have known what is feels like to be violated.

Totally riveting and tear😢 jerking.

This book was amazing, I wanted to see Twisted be brought down by a woman, especially everything he said in Corrupted. I wasn't disappointed.
Twisted may seem like a big tough guy, but we learn his past in this book. He has a big heart and he is loyal to everyone who earns it. He doesn't believe in having a old lady, or even dating. But how wrong can he be.
Nikki, wants to be free, and live her life. She is also very independent and has a sarcastic mouth on her that she doesn't control, and she likes to act crazy but really she isn't. She is also very strong character.
I loved this story. I cannot wait to read more.

Audio book review
This is a great M/C series . The author knows how to draw the listener in and it leav s them wanting more . It has everything an M/C story has. Hot Alpha males.
Hero is Twisted. VP of the club Heroine is Nikki .

Both Twisted and Nikki meet for a night. It wad hot it was only suppose to be for one night but they couldn’t see it ending , which is usually for Twisted . Twisterd is usually a wham bam thank you mam . But he sees something in Nikki .

Meghan Kelly was wow in this audio Her voice brought the story to life . Her voice was great , smooth . You actually felt the characters with her voice

I enjoyed this book, it's a bit weird when you say that an MC book tugged at your heart but that is what happened with the main female character of this book.
This book is full of twists and turns, there are a few surprises to go along with them. Some you will see coming and some you won't.
I laughed, I cried and I got frustrated with the main characters in this book, so much so that I was actually telling them what to do.
A really great story well worth the 5 stars I have given it.
I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

So one thing that picked a nerve is the characters. The fact that they kept beating around the bush about what had happened to them prior to meeting each other and saying that theirs is worse than the other… ughhh.

That’s ANNOYING!

Then Twisted is forcing her into the deed when she doesn’t want it… she might like it later but dude… consent first!

Maybe it’s dislike for the characters, lack of character development or just the book overall… still debating.

Mwah💋

[1.5 stars] book was so-so, i think it took too long to reveal what nikki was hiding. she keep saying she has no time blah blah blah but only reveal like nearing 80% of the book. and dont tell me every heroine in this series is gonna get rape & tortured at some point in time in the book? because it can be quite horrifying in a way.

The book was good, good storyline, characters and mystery.
I don’t mind rape in a story but this author has a thing about it, she has had 2 books in the series and in both the women the guys are in love with are kidnapped and raped. Also the girl in the next book has been raped. Just wondering if every h gets raped or if it’s just these 3. I guess I’ll find out as I continue to read the series.
