ROGUE
Sons of Book 4

Vampire MC member Anton “Rogue” Balan, aka Blondy, has turned his back on the powerful Sons of Sangue, betraying the brotherhood he once considered his family. Or so his vampire brethren think. Changing his appearance, his persona, and signing up with rival gang, the Devils, Rogue has gone deep undercover to catch the La Paz Cartel’s kingpin. Having lost a woman he once thought he would spend eternity with, Rogue now feels he has nothing left to lose . . . that is until a temptation named Kimber James invades his dangerous world.
Strait-laced Kimber has a problem and his name is Anton Balan. After an impulsive night of passion with him more than a year ago, the small-town librarian still has the hots for the sexy biker next door. She can’t deny her desire for Anton, even though she suspects he’s hiding a secret even darker than his affiliation with an outlaw MC. As for Rogue, no matter how much he tries to refuse the scorching need he has for Kimber—as much as his duty depends on it—he’s powerless to deny his rising feelings for her. And when a blindside by an enemy he once trusted puts Kimber’s life at risk, Rogue’s tarnished honor is put to the ultimate test.

Rogue (Sons of Sangue) (Volume 4)
By Patricia A. Rasey

Changing his appearance, his persona, and signing up with rival gang, the Devils, Rogue has gone deep undercover to catch the La Paz Cartel’s kingpin. SONS OF SANGUE - A Vampire MC Series Book 1: VIPER Book 2: HAWK Book 3: GYPSY Book 4: ROGUE More to come!
I opened this story with a bit of trepidation. Blondy had not only gone rogue, he had become Rogue by the end of Gypsy. Gypsy had been my favorite of the SOS MC, but he had to be brought to heel to allow himself to love. Blondy had unknowingly done just this by caring for Tamara, but he had overstepped, involving his feelings, in the end he did the only thing he could do to provide himself some sanity, he left by accepting a dangerous assignment. This assignment would take him away from his beloved brothers in order to bring justice for a long ago crime committed by the La Paz Cartel Kingpin. The opening finds us a little over a year later. Blondy has embraced his life as Rogue immersing himself into life with a rival bad news MC-The Devils. As always we get to meet new people in this story all of which are rather interesting, also there have been other side characters that are being drawn into the forefront and I’m sure we’ll soon see their stories. Did I mention Preacher was hot even though he is in on the wrong team? Muy caliente ladies! Keep an eye out for him.
Rogue drives this story to its fullest, trying to fight then giving in to his desire for Kimber and meeting his commitments to his undercover assignment with the DEA and Cara. As things heat up with Kimber so does everything else. Rogue truly faces the challenge of a life time protecting Tamara, Kimber and others from the results of his undercover assignment. Draven has a new “companion” thanks to the sudden death of a fallen brother. Draven may be a “hang around” to the MC, but I consider him an integral part of the team. His new companion stretches his world to the brink of implosion as he can’t help but protect the beauty, Brea. Mircea, the a#$ is showing his true colors, it’s so easy to hate this guy. Mircea is hunting Kane, but will Vlad control his brother to save his blood? There are "expiration" dates met down in this story, the set up for future ones as the base story of the La Paz Cartel slowly escalates slowly. I can’t wait to read more about this unique MC club. Nothing is boring or monotonous everything I have read has been a twist on both the Paranormal and naughty MC’s stories making this a very distinctive series. Thus far, Rogue has been my favorite in the series; Viper, Hawk and Gypsy are must reads before reading Rogue and are guaranteed to be just as enjoyable.
I received this copy as an ARC, but plan to purchase it regardless. Gypsy’s story had left me begging for Rogue and it couldn’t have come soon enough for me, lovers of the SOS series will completely agree with me. Rogue releases on February 23rd 2016 I can’t wait to have it in my kindle collection. 5 stars from me!

This biker vampire romance is one hot pulse pounding story that rocks readers to their foundations. Rogue and Kimber are strong, bold characters that grab readers by their imaginations and demands they take part in their story. The chemistry between the two is intense and sizzles with lots of heat but the relationship is anything but smooth since Rogue has been labeled a traitor and doesn’t want to drag Kimber into his dangerous world. This keeps the relationship on a bit of a roller coaster with lots of passionate and scorching intimate scenes among the emotionally gripping upheaval that takes place throughout the romance.

Thrilling and adrenaline pumping suspense keeps readers glued to the pages as Rogue tries to balance his true loyalties with his current situation. There is never a dull moment to be found among the Sons of Sangue as an enemy hides in the background waiting for the perfect moment to strike and Rogue tries to gather evidence against the Devils all while resisting temptation. An unexpected twist forces Rouge into a deadly encounter that threatens Kimber and puts his tarnished honor to the ultimate test. There is nothing hotter than bad a** vampires on motorcycles and readers can’t get enough of their deadly, tempting and sensational world that holds them enthralled with each encounter.

I have read this series from the first book and have loved each book even more than the last!! Rogue in my opinion is the best one yet!! I could go into the story and give you a synopsis, but you can read that for yourself above. I would give away to much of the story. If you are new to this series this book can be read as a standalone, but I suggest that you start with the first because it makes this story so much more interesting and you will want to know what is coming in the next book. Love Patricia's writing and it always pulls me in. Motorcycle Club / Vampires make for some very interesting stories. If you want to read a book that you will find hard to put down I recommend you read Rogue!!

Anton “Rogue” Balan, also known as Blondie, has just become my new favorite of the Son. The sweet Alpha vampire, as I like to call him, is as sexy and build as the Road King he rides. Sweet, kind and caring Anton makes you melt in more ways than one. Don't let that fool you, the man can take you faster than the blink of an eye. Internal struggles, mimicking betrayal and longing have changed Anton. Even in what could be called his darkest hour his loyalty, devotion, and selflessness never waver from his true home.

Kimber is a girl next door type with personally and spunk. Putting her in a class all her own. A good and sweet woman who can stand her ground. Kimber is as straight laced as they come, however she does have this sultry and playful side that you don't see on the surface. She's a fun and extremely likable character.

Patricia Rasey’s fourth installment of the Son of Sangue series, Rogue, has just become my favorite of the series. Sorry Gypsy! Anton has upped the game! Action pack and emotionally driven, Patricia Rasey once again has readers hanging on for dear life while going at breakneck speeds. The stench of betrayal thickens the air, danger is to close to home, secrets unfold as the bonds of Brotherhood are tested to the core. Chemistry, compassion, passion and lust have infused a desire for things that should not be. Making wants and needs walk a fine line in the Sons dangerous world. And that's just the beginning. Sexual tension, suspense and extreme loyalty make the foundation for a fast paced story with a twisty plot that pull you in and keeps the pages turning to the wee hours of the morning. Fantastic storytelling with the perfect balance of romance and suspense, Ms. Rasey delivers a damn fine book.

As a huge fans of the Sons of Sangue series, I recommend that you read the stories in order to fully benefit the this amazing world she has created. Rogue is a highly recommended book as is the entire Sons of Sangue series.

Love love love this series and the 4th installment to the Sons of Sangue series by Patricia Rasey. Anton aka Blondy has always been one of my favorites. Now he goes by the name Rogue, gets rid of his blond hair and goes for a shorter, darker look while he joins a rival MC group known as The Devils. Most in the Sons of Sangue group think he's deserted them for another. But there are reasons he did what he did and Patricia Rasey doesn't disappoint and you need to read it to find out why.

I thought the action was great. I loved Anton and Kimber and even the little side twists to other characters that could definately lead to other stories. I can't wait to see what the next Sons of Sangue story will be.

I love the world of the Sons of Sangue! Ms. Rasey puts a twist on this story with Gypsy going deep undercover and changing himself physically and changing his moniker to Rogue. He took this and assignment knowing that his kin would mark him a traitor and if the others find out his subterfuge he may meet his possible end. A former fling, the lovely, sweet librarian Kimber lives next door to Gypsy and cant forget their shared passions. Soon the mission puts Kimber in the line of danger and that is something that Rogue wont tolerate. If you like your bikers with a little "bit" and a lot of Alpha check out any of the Sons of Sangue novels. Ms. Rasey needs to hurry up and get me my next fix!!

The fourth book in the Sons of Sangue series. It was good but you knew when the plan changed it wasn't going to work out. It didn't because of the reason I thought which was obvious to another MC but it still failed. If you're even a little bit confused about what I'm saying then you need to read this but start from the beginning.

Rogue or Blondy or whatever you want to call him is in so much trouble. If you've read the others books you know he left the club and is now with another club.

Kimber is the neighbor of Rogue and has been for a few years now. They have been friends and only one time a little more. They get moved to friends with benefits but that's not who she is. Not really who he is either but with what he is involved in and what he is... he's stuck and doesn't know what to do. He can't hypnotize her for the rest of his life but she is straight laced. He just wants his life back but when things go bad is Kimber the one who is going to pay the price?

Hot and sexy for adults only please 😉

Another fantastic book in the series! Great plot twists, criminals getting their comeuppance, redemption and flame-hot romance. One odd thing though, in every book the hero has a pet name for the heroine. The word is always in another language and the meaning is always translated. Not in this book. Rogue/Anton calls Kimber "tesoro", which means "treasure" in Spanish. Just a heads up on that.

The Sons of Sangue are back, and Rogue is my new book boyfriend! No joke my fellow readers, the 4th installment in Patricia A. Rasey's series is wicked, well-paced, and full of angst. Anton (formerly known as Blondy, now known as Rogue) is in the hot seat with the Devils MC- the rival of the Sons, who also are in league with the Cartel. Little do the members of the Sons know (except for one of my other fave brothers-Kane) that Anton is only undercover. He isn't a traitor to their club, to his brothers, but a man who needed to heal his broken heart, and also help them in the process.
Book 4 begins a year after we last saw Anton: wounded from losing Tamera to Gypsy, and appearing to have burned the SOS. He (Rogue) is trying to nail the Devils to wall, and the Cartel. Not only does this serve the purpose of taking out a rival club, but it also will help take revenge upon those involved in the murder of Kane's son Ion years prior. Cara (Kane's mate, and detective), along with Anton and the Feds fuel the plan, leaving Anton in the middle. Problem is, he is hated by the SOS now, playing the Devils, and up to his neck in ensuring that their blood donor supporter and provider Draven isn't caught in the crossfire.
Add in the sexy, supposedly straight-laced girl next door, Kimber and he is in TROUBLE! She is a fun heroine, and I enjoyed her very much. Always considerate, always kind, always fierce, and at times a little timid (which goes away as she grows more bold with Rogue)! The two naturally try to hold off from one another after things went south a year ago the last time Rogue and her took a chance, but they just can't get enough.
With the La Paz Cartel upping their game with drugs, the Devils wary of Rogue as certain instances leave them uneasy, and the SOS now finding themselves the target of the primordial Mercia (Vlad the Impaler's brother) as well as an outsider for which they have no inkling of, the stakes are high. I loved how the author brought a famous mobster into the mix through a family linkage. I loved how the author tied the MC to the Cartel. I love love love how Draven takes a hardcore risk, which left me SHOCKED.
I was sidelined by Vlad's decision regarding Mircea and his wish to see Kaleb & Kane die, even going as far as to taunt their children. I am sure this will come back to bite them in the ass, so to speak. Then there is the new introduction of Bobby a.k.a. Preacher and holy hell on toast.....he is hot damn! Not to mention the new goings-on with Alexander.....wow. To put it mildly, he is in for one rude awakening, ha!
I can't even. I just, I can't. Honestly, I love Gypsy. Hell, I love the twins. Rogue though, I felt for him throughout the 3rd installment. I wanted to cuddle the poor bastard. Such a good guy, and yet not without his demons. Him and Kimber were delish together. One word: bathroom. I won't say anymore. Point is, if you haven't read Patricia's books, you need to get on it! If you have, but haven't reached Rogue.....YOU WILL LOVE IT. I can't wait for the next one. Brilliant Pat. Brilliant.

On the romance side, this book was the best of the series so far. Two people who weren't anything alike yet they have chemistry that you could feel it through the pages. I was rooting for Anton and Kimber to get together since the previous book when we got a peek at their budding romance. It's the only thing I can say that was good about this whole series.

The plot is what I had problems with. It just had so many unbelievable and unrealistic scenarios that just couldn't be overlooked. I'll try to explain as I go along without spoiling too much.

Anton aka Blondy was a Sons of Sangue Motorcycle Club member until he went undercover in a rival club called the Devils after Cara, the mate of the co-president of the Sons and a detective of the local sheriff's office, asked him to do it.

The owner of the nightclub where the Sons of Sangue hang out and get their blood (they're also vampires) was under DEA scrutiny for dealing ecstasy so the DEA went through Cara and her partner to get Draven, the club owner to help them catch his dealers who are the Devils who are backed by a cartel.

The Sons have an ongoing beef with the Devils because ten years ago, the Devils killed the president's adult son on an order from the head of the cartel. The president is also now the mate of Cara, the cop.

That's all somewhat believable. What's not believable is how the DEA sends in a captain from the Oregon State Police as their representative to head the investigation. This man happens to be a creep who has plagued Cara throughout her career. Why would the DEA go through so many channels? The author just needed an excuse to put this man back in the tiny Town of Pleasant.

Cara also seems to call all the shots on this federal investigation. She has Anton, who magically and immediately gets accepted by the Devils as a member, spy on them. She makes him keep it a secret from the Sons so that their reactions look real to the Devils. Then she sends a small town reporter down to Santa Barbara (across state lines) to question the Devils to see if she can get them to confess to her that they murdered a member of the Sons of Sangue. That is the most ridiculous plan ever! No way the DEA would allow something this stupid.

I could never stand Cara's character but now she has a list of things any other outlaw motorcycle club would have, at the very least, kicked her ass for. She kept a secret from them except for her mate but she made him keep it a secret which just puts him more at odds with them. He had just earned their trust back. She puts Anton in with a murdering gang and then she sends in the reporter who is the mate of the vice president of the Sons of Sangue and makes her keep it a secret from her mate and the MC. Cara is a stupid B-word. I was hoping she'd get banned from the club property and business.

I think I've suffered enough. This series is too ridiculous for me to continue reading. Why do I always do this to myself? I hold on for way too long, hoping things will get better but, deep down, I knew from the start it wasn't going to happen.

"Rogue" by Patricia A. Rasey. Book 4 in the Sons of Sangue series.

I really enjoyed this new addition to the Sons of Sangue series. Anton (aka "Blondy", aka "Rogue") and Kimber are two characters you just know have to be together. Their relationship was hinted at in the last book. They get their happily-ever-after in this book but not without some misunderstandings and a lot of emotional ups-and-downs along the way.

Anton has been undercover for the last year. He left the Sons of Sangue MC to infiltrate a rival MC (motorcycle club), the Devils. Only two people in the Sons know he's undercover; Cara and Kane. His mission is to get a meeting with the Mexican drug cartel's boss and take his operation down. He also has to keep Draven safe too because Draven is also undercover. But giving up his life for over a year now is starting to wear on Anton. He didn't think it would take this long for the Devils to trust him. His life is certainly not what he thought it would be. He wants a mate and a family but his life is to dangerous now. But that doesn't stop him from thinking about Kimber, his next door neighbour. There's definitely an attraction he can't deny but there's just no way he can be involved with her. He'd be putting her in danger. Oh...and she happens to be human with no knowledge that vampires are real.

Kimber has a dilemma. She has the hots for her neighbour and would like a relationship with him but he's not into the relationship thing. He's more of the "friends with benefits" type. Plus, he's part of a motorcycle gang. A total bad boy. Definitely not the kind of guy she should be thinking about. But she is thinking about him and wants to be more than "just friends." Can a relationship really work between them? Or will she settle for being "friends with benefits?"

So that's a quick overview of the romantic story line between Anton and Kimber. So much more happens between them and you really see the emotional struggle each goes through to try and be together. The chemistry between them is spot on. Very hot. The overall story line of the series of the drug cartel is furthered along really well in this book. A new story line is also started regarding Draven which opens another possible story for another book! (NOTE - At the time of this review, I know Draven have his own story told in the novella "DRAVEN"). I really can't say to much more about the story line in this book because I try not to do spoilers. I'll just say that the drug cartel story line is not yet finished at the end of this book and the teaser as to who the next full length book will be about is very intriguing.

Can't wait to read what's coming next! I'm really enjoyed this series.

I received this ARC from the Author in return for my honest review.

Every book from this author catches you hook line and sinker. Each one gets better and better and makes you fall in love with all the men. I loved Rogue. (Also known as Blondy in other books) I have loved him from the first time he showed up in the books. Rogue just melts your heart. You hurt for him with what he has gone through. Kimber is awesome. I have liked her from the first time Rogue laid eyes on her. She doesn't take any crap. They are awesome together. I can't wait to see what happens with them down the road. These books are awesome and a must read series. I can not wait for the next book. It can not get here fast enough. Once again Patricia Rasey blows you away with her writing skills. A must read!!!

I started reading Patricia Rasey on the recommendation of another author (I love author recommendations by the way). I am so glad I started reading Sons of Sangue. I love these vampire motorcyclists and their women.

In each series I read I end up finding a favorite book - for me so far in this series - that title is still held by Gypsy's book (lol) but I did enjoy reading Rogue. The struggle that Rogue (Blondy) has to go through as he sees his relationships crumbling around him all because he is really just a great guy - well I wanted to weep with him. Rogue is the guy who is always watching out for the people he cares about no matter how he might be treated.

There is also a few stories in the background that I only hope are some future books in the series. Last time I knew Rogue would be next ... this time I have no idea who is next (lol):
Draven - there is something happening here and he is getting himself in some hot water
Mircea - why oh why does Vlad have a soft heart? This is going to have some severe angst with it watching it play out.
Xander and India - oh Xander I can't wait to get to know you better
Preacher - I hope he comes back into the fold and can accept what has happened.

While Rogue could not top Gypsy for me (wink) I still enjoyed and will continue to read this Series for as long as Ms. Rasey writes it.

Thanks Ms. Rasey for another great book!

This was definitely a good read it just took me a while to get into it. Most likely because this is the first book of the series that I've read so I had a harder time adjusting. This is a vampire mc romance novel that has a bit of spice mixed with the nice.
Rogue is a vampire with a problem. He is undercover for the DEA, his brothers think that he is a trader, and the women that he is captivated by doesn't know his true nature. What poseibly could go wrong? I will say that Rogue aka blondie was an amazing guy when he got to be himself.
Kimber is a librarian who has been falling hard for her neighbor Rogue. When he comes back to town after joining the Devils things start to heat up. But this time around she refuses to be just another play thing for the bad boy neighbor who takes her breath away.
This was a nicely written story that would be a good continuation of the series.
And I would definitely say it would be better to read this story in order with the series, even though it can be read as a standalone, so that it will be more enjoyable.

Great book.

I loved this book, Rouge is just to die for.
He's never had an easy time of late he's turned his back on the Sons and joined another MC he's turned traitor or so everyone thinks.
There's more to the story than that. Rouge aka Blondy has a job to do one that could cost him his life. He doesn't have much since he lost his possible mate to his Brother Gypsy.
Kimber has a thing for Rouge but he can't risk getting close to her with his lifestyle. He isn't ready to admit his feelings for the little librarian.
He's lost one woman he thought he loved, he doesn't want to do it again.
But seeing Kimber getting close to anyone else stirs feelings he's not comfortable admitting.
It makes him question if his feelings for the other woman were anything more than infatuation.
I just loved seeing Rouge squirm over Kimber. They definitely have chemistry he's just so stubborn. I wanted to kick his ass a few times myself. But I just love him.

Fantastic read and I'm looking forward to more in the series.

The Sangue brothers are running into problems everywhere they turn.
He infiltrated the Devils MC and betrayed the trust of his former MC brothers. Rogue (aka Blondy) now wears the colors of the outlaw MC, the Devils. He places himself in danger gaining the trust from the Devils. A weekend visit back up the coastline to his farmhouse puts him in greater danger of losing all he has worked hard for. Until the mate of one of his former brothers call for help. Come and see how Rogue handles all the things that can and will go wrong when you are caught between two women.
With this fourth installment into the Sons of Sangue, Patricia Rasey has again shown that she has more than earned her place among her like peers.

Loved this one. The series started with Viper (Kane), a bit confusing due to all the nicknames of the characters. Followed by Hawk (Kaleb- twin), storyline becoming a lot clearer. Then came Gypsy, storyline improving and at this stage the series was looking good. Up to date now with Rogue also known by the MC (motorcycle club) as Blondy, this was great.
Rogue/Blondy (Anton), aided the DEA, yet in the year plus process, he lost much and the trust from his brothers. Definitely no spoiling, needs to be read. Do read in order though.
Loved every minute of my reading time. Love, trust, faith oh and throw in the loveable vampire, I really enjoyed this one. Well done Ms Rasey. So looking forward to the continuation of the MC members. Recommend the series, worth reading.

Things are not always what they seem. In this book 4 of Sons of Sangue, it appears that one member has openly betrayed his mc brethren. Rogue runs from his club and the woman he thought to spend the rest of his life with. He believes he has lost all meaning in his life and with his club. Running away, he joins a rival club and the members of his first club believe him to be a betrayer. Further reading finds that this member is involved in something that nobody knows about except those who are involved with him. It's a page turner to figure out the mystery. Of course, in the end, the reader discovers just how totally deceived they were by the author. It's all good though and well worth the read.

Outstanding!

What a great story for Kimber(librarian) and Anton(rouge). Anton is a member of the Sons of Sange who defected to the Devils MC His former brothers hate him for changing sides. But what nobody knows other than a select few is that he is undercover trying to bring down the Devils and bring down the cartel leader Kimber is a former lover, they pick up from the year before, falling in love with each other. But she has to be glamour end each time so she dies realize he's vampire. Story is awesome. Loved it.

I really enjoyed this series. It's a great combination of PNR and MC series which can appeal to a lot of readers.
At the end of Gypsy (book 3) we see Anton leave the Sons of Sangue to join a rival MC. While his reasons seemed justified, it didn't feel genuine. He doesn't seem like the type to give up his brothers and join a club more interested in drugs and violence. This book is his story and it explains the reasons for him going Rogue.
I would highly recommend this series and I can't wait to read more.

Blondy, I love you, but you changed, say it isn't so! What was he up to? Turned traitor? Surely not?

Let's hope that all comes out the woodwork and alls well that ends well.....for the Sons!

Kimber was such a great and extremely loveable character and dont get me started on Rogue/Anton/Blondy! He was one of my favorites before I started this book but now he has taken the number 1 spot!

In fact I think this has been my favourite book of the series so far! But I may say that with each book that comes out!!!!

Rogue is determined to do what he can to help those around him. Kimber is straight laced and is learning to relax. He is determined to keep her a secret. Will Kimber accept everything that comse with him? Will Rogue be able to keep her safe and still do his job?

This series has sucked me in and this book was no different. I loved how Kimber was stepping outside her comfort zone and was showing how strong she was. I loved how despite what he was supposed to be showing, Rogue couldn't help but care about those he loved! Great read and cannot wait to start the next one!

As always Patricia knocks it out of the park. From the beginning these books have intrigued me. The stories are so well written and the characters are just amazing. So far Kane, Kaleb, and Greyson are awesome but there was something about Anton and Kimber's that revealed there is so much more story left to tell with these two and the rest. It ends in a fantastic HEA leaving me eagerly wondering which couple the next book is about!!! Well Done Patricia!!!!!

Talk about your wild ride ... Loved every moment of this action packed addition to this amazing series. Anton “Rogue” Balan, aka Blondy what a biker. He is so hot, sexy, smart, loyal and just has the biggest hart. He has to come to terms with so much to finally find a happy ground to stand on. Kimber James is his perfect mate and she is so fun to read. Her coworkers are a blast and would love to read more about each one. Can't wait for the next Son to fall.

Just freaking fantastic! The Sons of Sangue has to be one of my favorite series. Each character is so different that you never know what to expect in the next installment. Anton and Kimber not only set the sheets on fire but they set the hearts of the readers on fire! The writing as always is superb and the story line stays true to the series. I love the intrigue, excitement and every little glimpse we get of Vlad just makes it more exciting!

Rogue has been undercover for a year and it getting to the point he wants out now that he has hooked up with his forbidden neighbor Kimber. Things get hot and heavy all around them and some parts are a real scorcher.

I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. This is book 4 of the Sons of Sangue series by the author. This is 1 book and book series that is a must for any vampire MC romance book reader.
