I am romanian and every book I read about Vlad Dracula and the history of this legend I compare it with the history I have learned. I've hinted at his pa…moreI apologize for not answering this earlier, Christina. I don't get to GoodReads too often. Vlad does have a colorful background. I've hinted at his past in my books, but I don't delve too much into it. I have done research into his past--of which I am sure you know much more about being from Romania. I focus more on who he became today, in my own world, and I do plan on writing a book of his own--of which will be strictly fiction, since he is the male lead, or hero of the story. So--I'll be romanticizing him. I will still give glimpses into his past, though. Not sure I answered you well enough--but since I'm not up to his story yet I don't have all the answers with the direction I plan on going. Thank you about my mother. Life is getting much better and we learn to move forward. Big hugs and again I apologize for missing this question.(less)
