I'm reading7 the Happy Halloween Six book set. There are good witches in the books, but they have nothing to do with Halloween.

The books are growing on me. They are easy reads. One witch is Penelope, the cat, with the soul of Meg's grandma, who lives with Meg. They love to watch a detective TV show, and figure out the murderer. Meg works on solving murders. Her boy friend is a cop, who tries not too hard or effectively to get her to stay away from investigating the murders. Meg uses her magic spells when she needs them, and hopes that people won't find out she is a witch because she doesn't know how she and her family would be treated. I like her spell for making donuts that don't make you fat.

Meg has moved on from her small town sleuthing to the big city where she once again butts herself into a case by sheer force of will. Thankfully, this one was different enough from the first three that I didn't feel like screaming through the whole thing, but it still recycles the same language from the others in the series.
Lainie Pahos does a great job narrating.

i have received the set of books and they were audio..
Now i got a call and i they said that my Friend that killed her self i now she did not do it Page my friend she was my age. So now i am in L.A. for a funeral she was a journalist and we had bond between her and me
I seen Tyler and he does not seem pissed then now i to to Scott they said they were going to go on diet pills and that was the problem and i been using my witch power and i caused a quake and there more to come
Now i am been asking questions you see my friend was killed she was writing a story on the diet pills and then some thing wrong with the pills,
The police are now investigation on the diet pills and then now they are saying she was murdered and the story goes on and then the audio was great ,
I was given all books so i wil get them posted soon

Certainly will not be reading any more of these books. All four are interchangeable, same plot, same dialogue, same conclusions, right down to the confessions and a detective hiding behind a door listening. It's a sham but this author plagiarized all her previous books in this series to write this one. I'm sure if the books were cut into singular words and matched up the only thing to change would be an odd name or two

A good, solid whodunit. Meg Walton goes to L.A. for Paige Martin's funeral. The police say it was suicide, but things don't sit right for Meg. Hence she investigates. Several suspects become apparent. As is Meg's style, she tracks them down to question them. Eventually, the light bulb goes off in her brain. Then she sets the trap. Well executed.

A wonderful trip relaxing, peaceful refreshing
It is a page Turner, touched every emotion lightly, balanced enough to be entertaining and relaxing. An easy read. I will now find all that I can from Amelia Morgan and absorb the pleasure of the read. I highly recommend her to you.

A Bewitching Murder (The Witches of Enchanted Bay #4) by Amelia Morgan was a great quick read. Another murder happens too close to home for Meg. Her old friend Paige died in Los Angeles. Meg goes out to Los Angeles in order to prove that Paige was murdered and did not commit suicide. This has been a good series following Meg and Connor.

I really like Meg who is a donut shop owner and a fun witch , she puts her sleuthing skills to the ultimate test when she investigates her best friends apparent suicide , she knows In her heart Paige would never do such thing. Though the police will not listen , meg will not stop til she finds out the truth!

This narrator has a pleasant voice and delivery making these stories an enjoyable listen.
This was an enjoyable story but unfortunately editing let it down.
The end of Chapter 8 cuts off just as a sentence starts then goes straight to chapter 9, there was also two repeated lines, was this audio not listened to/edited before it was released?

I think this one was sad. This one Meg worked alone in Los Angeles. It was ok the message was sad. On this one I had a feeling that it was one of 2 people. So I did better at this one than the others. The whole story was a sad one. I think this one might have triggers so keep that in mind that the story has suicidal behavior.

I really tried to give this series a chance, but after four books I simply can't continue. There is so much that annoys me about them that I'll refrain from going into details. I'm just glad I paid next-to-nothing for them. Young girls 9 to 12 might enjoy them somewhat.

Funny & thrilling
Love the story. Made me feel sad for losing her best friend. Scared and thrilled excited, when she investigated friend's murder. Very happy she found killer. Gotta get the next books. Can't wait to see what happens next.👍👍👍💜❤️

It is obvious there is something wrong with these books. There is potential, but having the heroine find things at crime scenes that the forensic teams miss and the murderer always freely confessing their crime are lazy at this point. I keep hoping things will get better.

Reading these as a relaxer...no thinking, very much the same pattern as the previous books. Wish I could love the characters, but just not feeling it.

I love this series. Meg walton is a witch. She is also a sleuth. She has a sassy talking cat,who just happens to be her grandmother lol and a sexy cop Connor,as a boyfriend. With a combo like this,how could this not be a fun story? Megs character is strong and the story is very well written. If you like to read a fun,easy book with some mystery and interesting people, this book is for you. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Huge plot and character flaws
I really wanted to like this book. But I kept being sidelined by the author's inability to remember what she wrote in the pages before. There were so many glaringly obvious plot errors that it was distracting. Not to mention the errors regarding the character development of her main character, which is so bad, it's as if the author didn't know anything about her main character. The rest were sadly two dimensional and ridiculous. Even from a Kindle Unlimited book, I feel that there should be some standard of quality in writing. If this author turned in this work in high school, they would have been given a C, with lots of notes on improving the work. Please, Ms. Morgan, get yourself a real editor, and listen to them. I hope you pull all of your sequels back, and take another look at your writing skills. My best wishes for your future endeavors.

This is partof a series but a great stand alone book. This book has humor with herdetective boyfriend along with the powers of her being a witch to help solve murders. Meg finds a friend had committed suicide. So she goes to Enchanted Bay to the funeral. She and her boyfriend were meeting dead ends then her mom says something. You have to read to see how it goes. The characters are believable and interesting. The narration is done by Lainie Pahos and she maintains your interest to keep going. This is a great family read or it could be used at a slumber party. It is clean, no frank sex, foul language or gore. We loved this book.

Megan finds herself investigating the suicide/murder of her close friend in L.A. without the backup of Carter. How much magic will she have to use and how much will be just good old-fashioned logic & deductive reasoning plus the ever persist Meg. This was another good story in the Enchanted Bay Witches series. It was really nice to have a murder that didn't take place in her hometown, which is supposed to be so quiet an safe, and have Meg dealing with the evils of the big city. I did miss Carter though.
