Grew up on these during my elementary years. These are delightful, clean reads for anyone who enjoys stepping into past worlds and seeing history through the eyes of colorful characters.
I always loved the American Girl books. I first read them when I was 10, & it was just Kirsten, Samantha, & Molly. I've also read about Felicity, Addy, & Josefina. They're all good stories with good pictures & I like the historical facts at the end of each book. My only complaint is that they all seem to have the same personality type & be a different version of the same character in all the different time periods.
