Will & Patrick Fight Their Feelings is episode four of Wake Up Married romance serial.
“I know what we did, Will.”
“And?”
“And I liked it. And I don’t regret it.”
Will pulls his lower lip between his teeth. “You really liked it?”
“Puddin’-pop, you were there. Do you doubt you’re the best lay I’ve ever had?”
“The best?”
“Unequivocally.”

I love Patrick’s unapologetic honesty. But he doesn’t want to talk about feelings. At all.
This part of the serial is „stupendously hot,” also very emotional. Finally, things are getting in motion. Lots of sexy times, ends with a cliffhanger. On to the next one.

This time around we got...

And we got some kinky....

Thankfully less Ryan (physically and in Will's head)...

Now Will and Patrick just need to man-up and tell each other how they really feel!

I think I love this series now! Holy, F, I'm hooked!

The 4th installment is the best yet. We get a suuuuper vulnerable Patrick, a kinkalicious Will, and tension galore! It kept me hooked, and I could barely put it down.

I'm going to repeat what I said in my review of the 3rd installment: you better buy the whole series if you are going to start Wake Up Married. You will NOT be able to stop. If I had read this in pieces I think I would have gone insane.

I'm more than ready for Will and Patrick to start owning up to their emotions. I loved everything about this story, but I'm bursting for them to admit how they feel. Moving right on to the next one!

I'm so glad I have this whole series waiting for me to read cause that freaking cliffhanger!!!

But me likey how these men are in to each other. They are falling in love but neither trust their emotions with that.
I loved Will coming to grip with his fantasies and Patrick making them happen for him.

“You love this, don’t you?”
“Yes. Please, please make it hurt,” Will says, lifting his ass up and begging.
“Mmm, dirty boy.”
“That okay? If I’m dirty?”
“Hell yeah. Love it. Be filthy with me.”

Patrick opening up to his horrendous past was emotional and especially Will's reaction to it.

I want Patrick with his piano again so bad too!!

I'm off to part 5!!!

4.5 stars. They are KINKY. Holy fuck that was hot. 🔥🔥🔥

And Patrick is so sweet and adorable and I want to wrap him in a warm hug. Will is adorably insecure and hurting and he needs someone to take care of him and Patrick is IT. Now if only they can admit it to each other.

I still hate Will’s mom and uncle. I’m so glad Ryan is (hopefully) gone.

I’m totally WTF at the cliffhanger though. I hate those.

4 stars ⭐️ Aw, these two idiots are fighting over their already impending feeling for each other. I gotta say this episode is so hot and what I needed.

This series is getting better and better!!

The sex scenes were really great. I loved every minute of it. Oh, Patrick. He is damn stubborn but the perfect person for Will.

Omg, Patrick is such a baby. He is soooo in love with Will 🤡

“I love him. He makes me want to vomit. But in a good way.”

The ending!!! It's shocking though.

5 Stars!! What is love...
This was a great installment of the Will & Patrick Saga and one where we really get to see inside both of the guys heads. In this episode the guys really start to look at how they are feeling, Will and Patrick are both falling in love; however, they both have some messed up histories to get over first.

Will seems to be the first to understand that he is in love with Patrick but he doesn't think Patrick will ever return those feelings. Patrick is really good however at making Will feel good and helping Will get over his feelings of shame associated with sex.

“You like everything I do to you.” It’s true. There’s nothing Patrick’s proposed or done that Will hasn’t loved. He loves sex and he loves coming and he’s so grateful that Patrick’s teaching him these things. For a blunder with huge potential consequences, Will’s starting to believe their marriage in Vegas is one of the best mistakes he’s ever made."

These two have some hot as hell scenes in this episode and I loved them!! Watching Patrick bring Will out of his shell in bed was pretty amazing as Will goes from unsure and ashamed to begging for Patrick to spank him harder!!

“You love this, don’t you?” “Yes. Please, please make it hurt,” Will says, lifting his ass up and begging. “Like this?” Wind whistles and Will jumps as Patrick lands a stinging, hard blow. “Yes!” “Mmm, dirty boy.” Patrick rubs his smarting cheek and then slaps it hard again, jolting Will’s breath away. “That okay? If I’m dirty?” “Hell yeah. Love it. Be filthy with me.”

Will on the other hand helps Patrick face his horrid past. A childhood that was so messed up he actually went to Child Protective Services and turned his Dad in, leaving Patrick to Foster Care. I loved the way Will takes care of Patrick after a terrible day and how a usually stoic Patrick let's his emotions shine through while playing the Piano.

The authors do an excellent job of writing a captivating take that has some really good symbolism, creativity, a hell-of-a-lot of passion, dirty-talk, witty humor, and two MC who are both just a little lost. I have loved watching these two men transform through the story and cannot wait for the next installment!!

What?!? You serve up a cliffhanger like that and then expect me to wait until March to find out what happens?

I knew the authors were taking a break for the holiday, but I guess I mistakenly assumed that the remaining three installments would be released in pretty quick succession (just like the first three, which I believe were released approximately every 2 weeks). I personally think the delay is a mistake. You lose a lot of momentum when you make your readers wait 2 months to find out what happens.

Will I even remember what's going on in the storyline in 2 months? When you're someone who reads 300+ books per year, you forget a lot of details when that much time passes.

Anyhoo, that's my biggest complaint with the series. Other than that, I like it.

The tables have turned during this episode and Patrick finds himself falling in love with Will. But since Patrick has already told him he'll never love him, Will has buried his feelings, and Patrick assumes he doesn't feel the same way.

While we're talking about Patrick, is it just me or does he totally remind you of Dr. Cox? Not his physical description, but the God-complex and the way he acts.

The bottom line is that YES, I am still enjoying this series and probably will continue with it. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long for Will & Patrick Meet the Mob.

This episode gets all the stars! If you’ve been with the series this far, you’re going to want to run and get this installment. This is the one where Patrick’s world is rocked when he realizes that the unthinkable has happened and he has fallen in love with his husband.

In this episode Patrick gets romantic
“Your mouth is where my dick wants to go to die.”

Will gets what he's always wanted
“So I’ve had a version of this one fantasy since I was really young…”

And we, the readers, get to see these two work through it all.

First though, let’s all stand up and cheer as Ryan appears to have made good on his promise to leave town. Will has finally come to realize how bad Ryan was for him and how dysfunctional their relationship really was. He also sees how that relationship has caused even more trouble with the issues his mother and uncle have and have been projecting onto him. As clueless and as much of a pushover as Will has been, he is really starting to come into his own here. He is once again asserting himself with his family and he is growing more confident in his ability to direct his own life. The vulnerability and trust he shows when he is with Patrick is a far cry from the Will we have seen previously and he really grew on me in this episode. He is still a bit oblivious, but it is not all through his own fault anymore. Will relies and Patrick’s bluntness and he won’t ever assume that Patrick has feelings that he hasn’t expressed. Now on to Patrick.

Have I mentioned in prior reviews how much I love Patrick? Of course I did and I love him even more after this. He’s moving right up the list of my favorite m/m characters. Patrick is still Patrick, snarky and mostly sure of himself, which doesn’t make for the best bedside manner and doesn’t help matters when trouble arises at work. This installment, however, really focused on his feelings and his acceptance that he loves Will. He is struggling with those feelings, knowing that he told Will early on that there is no chance for a relationship and Will has accepted that. Now, Patrick dies just a little inside whenever the future divorce is mentioned. He accepts that he has broken their agreement, but is torn between letting Will know, or keeping quiet and allowing Will to move on and have the freedom to figure out how he wants to live his life after the whole Ryan mess.

Patrick opens up to Will with further details about his past abuse and Will vows to himself to keep Patrick close even after they are no longer married. Patrick may not have been able to find the words to tell Will how he feels, but he did manage to find a song. I’m old enough to remember the song Patrick plays for Will and it is one of the sappiest of 1970’s sappy love songs, but take a look at the lyrics and you’ll see how Patrick was baring his soul to Will.

Now regardless of the title, this isn’t all mushy, yearning. We were promised kink early on and this episode delivers. Those kinks Patrick expressed a fondness for, breath play and spanking, all play an integral part in Will’s secret fantasies and Patrick is more than willing to indulge in every one of them. The sex scenes were incredibly hot and kinky, yet still incredibly sweet.

Yes this is a serial, so I shouldn’t be shocked, but the authors leave it all off with an incredibly evil cliffie. I wouldn’t put it past Kimberly to have had something to do with what goes down, but the authors have set the scene for the penultimate installment, Meet the Mob, and the end of March cannot come soon enough for me!

Holy cliffhanger, Batman! Thank goodness I waited to read this at a time when the whole serial is available. I may have been super pissed off had I not had the option to read on through. I'm beyond impatient.

I'm happy to say that I enjoyed this installment a darned sight better than the previous parts. Maybe because this one delivered on the sexy times and I'm nothing if not a filthy perv.

I think Patrick has kept this series alive for me - which is impressive because I seemed to be disinterested in his character way back in part one, but, luckily, I've since been won over. I love how blunt he is and I truly enjoyed watching his internal struggles regarding his developing feelings for Will. But, honestly, I just wish these two would get their shit together already and tell each other how they really feel. In that regard, it's dragging a bit, at least for me.

I can't even talk about all the secondary characters in this story (with the exclusion of Don and Jenny) without going into a rage like state.

Seriously, they all need to die. Too much? Nope. I HATE THEM.

Anyhoo, off we go to the next installment...

Review @Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words

Finally!!! We are getting closer to the end of this series, and I know I said the last one was my favorite, but scratch that this one was close to damn near perfect. Right when I'm gushing with joy these authors go and end it. Gosh darn it, it was getting so freaking good. It's so nice to see this side of Patrick. The softer side of him, the vulnerability he showed Will, and seeing him come to terms with the realization that he's fallen in love with Will. This is the best version of Will. Goodness he was so positive, strong, and confident. Will coming to terms with his sexuality is such a breath of fresh air, I loved seeing him accepting himself.

This installment touched on Patrick's childhood something he's been keeping close to the vest. He is a strong, proud mad so I understand what it took for him to finally open up to Will. His childhood wasn't easy, and his parent was the scum of the Earth. But Dinah and her spouse were awesome parents to him. What I've been speculating has been answered, and I'm happy he kept it to himself this long. He allowed himself to trust Will with everything he knew. Him telling Will shows the growth between two these two. We can see the love blossom and grow from book one.

Will's mom made me ragey mad. Ugh, I can't get with her thinking at all. How dare she talk about her son short comings, and she isn't any type of role model for her kids. Goodness this woman got on my nerves. I wanted to jump for joy when Will decided to give his mom a piece of his mind. I can't wrap my mind around his mom shaming him for all his actions and basically praising Ryan. That bugs the crap out of me, and I kinda wanted Will to let her know every bad thing Ryan did to him.

I'm on pins & needles on what is to come in the next installment. Tony just showed up, and hopefully Patrick keeps his mouth closed. Really liked this installment.

Now that’s what I’m talking about. Finally, we get some action!

This 4th installment really is all about how Will & Patrick fight so hard with themselves, but as much as they resist, we can totally see that’s futile. These two try to keep it sex simple, but who are they kidding? They show each other their vulnerabilities and deepest secrets, and whether they realize it or not, that means something. Everything, really.

Despite rage inducing family members who need to die a slow death or just simply go away, this was funny and smexy, with touching intimacy and a bit of dirty. These guys bring out the best in each other, they just have realize and accept their perfect union. On to the next!

Someone just told me that this crap will last to the end of book 6, so I’m quitting this series.

And with this crap I mean, Patrick and Will not telling each other about their feelings and Will’s family telling him he should get back with his (verbally abusive) ex.

Nope…

Whoa, how the tables have turned. I spent the first books of this series with my heart hurting for Will, this book had me feeling so much for Patrick. I read the other installments together, I didn't like waiting for this one and now I have to wait until March, and I found out there is one more after that, yeah..I don't like these serials, but I do kinda love Patrick and Will!

The Will & Patrick series keeps on getting better and better! The first three episodes were 4 stars IMHO, but this episode tipped the scales into 5 star territory.

As this episode progresses, Will grows more confident in his relationship with Patrick, continues rebuilding his self-esteem, and (finally) speaks his mind to his uber dysfunctional family (his mother is a piece o' work.)

Patrick, on the other hand, is losing his footing. When all is well in Patrick World, he is the asshole neurosurgeon who saves lives, damn it, and knows he's the best there is. But as Will burrows deeper into his heart, Patrick is shaken to the core by the depth of his feelings, and can hardly hold back the idea that he just might want/need to share them with Will. And when his surgical work is questioned, watch out.

And the sex? Oh, dear gawd, the sex. The sexual tension between Will & Patrick built and built until ...... finally ..... at the end of the 3rd episode, they torn up the sheets in an intensively hot and steamy scene. But in Will & Patrick Fight Their Feelings, those sheets are in flames. Will confesses his deepest fantasies and Patrick is more than willing to make them come true. Flames, I tell you, hot nasty dirty flames. It's glorious.

And the final scene? Talk about a cliffhanger. Can't wait for episode #5 Will & Patrick Meet the Mob!

Will and Patrick are now getting down and dirty on the regular in every which way. Breath play. Spanking. There’s plenty of good ole smut. But they also catch major feels for each other. Patrick is especially cute as he tries to fight feelings for his “puddin’-pop”. Scenes with him babysitting baby Dylan are also adorable. Will continues to gain more confidence as a result of Patrick’s unabashed appreciation. This installment ends with them in love with each other, but afraid to confess it because each believes the other still wants a divorce.

Aww, Patrick is falling in love really hard in this volume with Will close behind. I love Patrick. Sure he can be a jerk but yet underneath it all he's really got a wonderful heart. He definitely deserves his HEA. Things are getting kinda kinky too! Will's mother and uncle though? Can't stand them.

Sadly, we have to wait over two months for volume 5 and who knows how long for volume 6 :(

Speaking of addictions! This is totally, completely, utterly addictive! And even more so on a second read! Darn, I had totally forgotten about the kink! (How could I???)

My God, are Will and Patrick amazing together - and the love is so blatantly obvious in everything they do, and say, but they don't/can't/won't own up to it. Ah, my heart was torn to pieces about fifteen times!
Not even mentioning how hot they are together. It is super sweet and heart-wrenchingly beautiful how Patrick allows Will to discover his sexual preferences and wishes. These two are so awesome together, I'm sitting here, melted into a super sweet puddle of goo.

What else I loved:
.) Patrick and children - how wonderful he can express his affection like that!
.) Will drawing a final line under Ryan (or so it seems)
.) so much emotion, so much insecurity, so much vulnerability on both parts I want to hug them both. Tight, really tight.
:) Patrick finally realizing what's going on in his heart - argh - still reeling from the emotions
.) the revelation why Patrick is not so good with his social interactions. (it was mentioned in passing, but made much clearer in this part)

What I hated:
.) Kevin and Kimberly constantly putting Patrick down, still favouring Ryan.

This series is brilliant. Will and Patrick are so well drawn and such in-depth characters. They have definitely moved into the top ten of my favourite m/m couples.
Please read this series - I would dare anyone not to fall in love with it.

A great fourth instalment in Will and Patrick's story.
I really felt that I got to get inside their heads and therefore I got to know them both a bit better in this book.
Just like the previous three books this one is sweet and sexy and laugh out loud funny.
I want to gather them both up in a big hug and tell them it'll be ok.
I keep catching myself calling my loved ones "puddin'-pop"
I still adore both of them especially Patrick, and together? Holy hotness batman!!
They are dynamite between the sheets!
And against the wall.
And in the shower...
But the ending!!! OMG! You can't leave it like that!!

Gawd! This is getting more dirtier and kinkier and also heavier. I can't believe they went all BDSM on each other. But it was definitely welcome. I like their kinky fun vibe, which is not too intense. Things are definitely heating up between the sheets for these two.

We also get to learn of Patrick's deepest darkest secret. It was sad, but nothing too hard to swallow. As per the title, they are fighting their feelings for each other. I guess, I better do a full sum after I finish the series. Things get a bit blurred for me and I'm not sure what happens in which installment.

Aww ... Will & Patrick Fight Their Feelings was another great opportunity to meet Will and Patrick - I am totally in love with this "couple". Puh ... this installment was really hot - I wasn't able to put it down and I just wanted them to get on with it!! The waiting time has been sooo long - but in the end, it was really worth it. The huge sexual tension is making the dynamics between them very interesting and I wouldn't want it any other way. I was so thrilled when Patrick and Will started exploring their fantasies togehter - kinky and hot as hell! I am however doubting that the new arrangement between them is going to be successful - they are falling for each other and they can't deny their feelings for long.

And that cliffhanger at the end o.O ... well, I am really greatful that I have all the books of this series on my TBR - the regular waiting time would have killed me!!

Dear HottieMcBrainSurgeon...please come and live with me if Will doesn't come to his senses shortly and tell you how much he loves you!! 4.5 stars.

This series just gets better and better, and yes, it's happened. Patrick has fallen big time for Will...as we all knew he would 👍 but Will is still trying to protect his heart from being hurt yet again (you git Ryan), and so convinces himself that Patrick is just trying to be nice until the inevitable divorce comes through (don't expect Nonna to rush with that Will), although he DEFINITELY wants Patrick to remain friends...and that ending?? Gah!! Is it March already??
