Who doesn't love a good book full of true mates finding their matches? I know I do. Be they Shifters or dominants and submisives or even a god who has spent centuries looking for the one, these stories were hot and steamy and kept my interest peaked. Great job y'all!!

This is a vast collection of little scenes from some of your favourite paranormal/erotics authors. With vignettes from well-known writers incl Elianne Adams, Erzabet Bishop, Elvira Bathory, Crystal Dawn & Jacqueline Sweet. There are many different genres incl in the set and I dare you not to find something to whet your appetite. Each scene is only a few pages long and I managed to read the whole set in just over an hour, but I am a speed reader!

Great writing, interesting and intriguing characters and something for everyone. You can't go wrong!!!

Can you handle the Fever? The ALPHA FEVER? 5 FLAMING HOT STARS

WHEW! What an ALPHATACULAR selection of authors and stories! As the intro says, it is “filled with a scintillating, spicy blend of BRAND NEW contemporary and paranormal romance stories”!! While that is one ALPHACEPTIONALLY apt description, it is also SO MUCH, MUCH MORE than that too! And I haven't even read through every story as of yet! I think I am about two thirds done now, and I am eager to get back to reading – I am missing my Alpha Love! – so I will give you my short & sweet initial thoughts, hopefully to further entice you (or push you OVER the fence you may be wavering on LOL) to purchase this FLAMING HOT & SPICY box set!! I am a paranormal girl at heart, but I couldn’t help but read them all, even though I had originally planned to first read the stories where I knew the authors, or where the stories were paranormal, or continue the stories of the ones I fell in love with in the Alpha Heat short stories collection, before reading the others. HA! YA, RIGHT! Once I started reading, I completely forgot about that! I just kept going, reading them in the order they are in! I am just so ADDICTED and couldn’t NOT read each book! You can NEVER go wrong with box sets/collections, but trust me - YOU NEED THIS ONE!! It is the perfect blend of.. well... EVERYTHING!! And where else can you get the chance to discover some great new authors, read stories you might otherwise not read, and surprise yourself by LOVING them! Yup! That is EXACTLY what is happening to me right now! I have a list going as to which new-to-me authors I want to read more of, and for the authors I already love, I have notes of just what characters I want more of! They ALL are TRULY MELTACULAR stories that you cannot help but fall in love with! And those authors? The Alpha Fever boxed set, as you’ve read in the summary, is a compilation of enticing short stories. So of course the chemistry is strong and the relationships between the characters develop quite quickly. With that lead-in, I quite enjoyed the couple that I’ve read so far. Here is a sampling:

Hedging Her Bets: A Shifting Hearts Dating Agency Novella by Erzabet Bishop
In this cute, steamy, fast little paranormal, we meet mates, Jonathan and Lucas. They are the co-owners of a BDSM club and Lucas also owns a tattoo shop. They are looking for the female to complete their triad, and have been waiting for her to complete their bond since they mated several years ago.

Natalie is a hedgehog shifter at odds with her “politically correct” family. Her mom’s constant put downs made me want to reach through the book and bitch slap her myself. Anyway, Natalie finds her way to Lucas and Jonathan and the sparks instantly fly. This short story had humor, family drama, sexcapades, and a steamy HEA. What’s not to love!


Between the Marshall & the Vampire by Tricia Owens
First off, let me start by saying I loved the creativity of the world building in this story. We only get a glimpse of it as these are short stories, but what a combination of western, sci-fi, paranormal, erotic and ménage. We have a Deputy Marshal, super sexy cowboy named Clay who is taking his charge, Mariel, via train to testify against a bank robber. But Mariel, a young widow and inn keeper, dreams of being a star ship pilot and leaving her dull life and small town behind. A chance encounter with a “night stalker” named Vellum, and their journey takes a whole new and quite steamy turn. They must learn to trust, to overcome prejudices and accept love in all its forms. This story was well written, the characters rather deep for a short story, and the plot and detail were phenomenal. I will definitely be looking for more from this author!

There is a vast diversity of stories in this collection. The Butterfly collector caught my attention the most. The Butterfly Collector Not Your Usual Love Story. In fact, it’s quite unusual. Oliver if a man with a physical deformity very noticeable even to casual strangers. He has a clubfoot and limps terribly in pain when he walks. But his deformity is actually in himself in how he perceives himself as a man. He is ridiculed and bullied by children. He leads a normal, routine, boring life but he accepts that as his fate. Until his new next door neighbor knocks on his door one Friday night at ten p.m. Pushing her way in his door, Victoria asserts her extremely beautiful presence, requesting help contacting the power company. Oliver is overwhelmed and clumsy in attempts to help her. He is very attracted to her, and it displays itself through his pants. Victoria seduces Oliver, asserting her dominance over him as his Mistress, relating he must obey everything she demands if they are to be friends. Oliver as at first is in disbelief but she convinces him to trust her. Oliver has a date for the following night. He is excited and looking forward to seeing Victoria again. The next day, Oliver begins his day feeling confident and treats other like so. The kids do not know how to respond when he sticks up for himself and ridicules them in turn. I was on the edge of my seat wondering what Victoria would demand of him when they made love, but I was pleasantly surprised by the tact and beauty of the sexual play they embarked on. The Muffy Wilson’s descriptions of the settings are precise and parallel the mood of the characters explicitly. The dialogue is highly believable. You will love Norman and Victoria as the butterfly begins to fly. I give a solid five stars for The Butterfly Collector.

This is a review of Jaquiline Sweet's "Fake it till you mate it"

This is such a fun read, I think I laughed more with this book than I have with any others for a while. Danny is in a predicament, he needs a fake mate to bring home to his pack of bear shifters. Enter Sarah, his best friend who just happens to be mortal and a beautiful curvy woman, who knows his secret of being a bear shifter. She has ahead a string of jerk boyfriends that never work out, mostly because she keeps comparing them to Danny. The perfect solution for Danny is clear to see, at least to Sarah, have her pretend to be his mate. The only problem, is that the closer they a forced to be, the easier it is to "pretend" that they are made for each other. Will this farce turn into a real mating, or ruin their friendship forever? I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! Where do I start, my mind is still trying to come back from all the Hotness packed into this box set. I was really excited to finally read the actual stories from the excerpt in Alpha Heat. Let me just say these amazing Authors did a great job they totally gave you what you wanted, but not expected it was way more steaming hot than one could imagine. I mean it was so intense it would leave your panties soaking wet. What could wrong with sexy hot alpha males and voluptuous alpha females that wake up the lustful beasts within them. I wish I could tell you more but I don't want to spoil.

This book set has it all!! Wolf shifters, vampires, bear shifters and more hot and steamy stories than you may be able to handle. I love box sets because there are authors I get introduced to and then I find more books to read. Some may call this a problem, I think it's heaven. Each author in this set has their own writing style and boy can they write. Characters come alive and do they have stories to tell!! ALPHA FEVER by Various Authors


This collection of books are made up of 22 really interesting and enjoyable stories, consisting of paranormal and contemporary stories written by a variety of authors. The storylines vary, some light hearted and others darker and dominant. The pages are colourfully lit up with action, suspense, romance, and characters of every variety. I did however prefer some books better than others but none the less they were all still enjoyable. I definitely recommend this box set!

22 Nail biting, sizzling hot and pulse stopping stories to get your engine revving! There is a story for everyone in this set. This is a good mix of paranormal and contemporary hardcore romance stories. Once you start, you won't be able to stop. Similar to 50 Shades, but in my opinion a whole lot more bite! A must read!

This box set is full of interesting, intriguing, sensual and easy to read short stories. Already had read a few and had kept my interest with some interesting characters, suspense and satisfying outcomes open to the reader’s imagination. There is a lot of stories to read and enjoy and after I peaked at some pages I’m completely sure that I’ll enjoy all of them. Up to now one of the stories that I enjoyed most was Between the Marshall & the Vampire by Tricia Owens. Loved it! The price of the box set is ridiculous for all the fun I’m having. Also, found some authors that I had not met before and that’s good to enrich my reading.

It’s the first time that I read a story about Doms and subs in a shifter setting and enjoyed it a lot. The author presented a strong, determined and smart alpha she-wolf that was not stranger to the BDSM world. The story was very interesting, original with different twists that I had not expected and kept me reading all the way until the end. There was suspense, intrigue, steamy sex, some pack drama and the evil characters that can’t not be out of the action.

The Thrill of the Chase by Elvira Bathory
Declan Fairfax, a recently turned Fossa shifter, wanted answers to his condition. He invited his mentor Christian meet him and his girlfriend, Tamara Bones at his cabin in the woods where they shared more than information. This story had suspense, intrigue, romance, hot sex and a piping Tom. Interesting new shifter and hope to read more about them.
His Temporary Wife by Tara Crescent
Zoe wanted to save her grandmother’s house but there was no money. Ryder Drake feared his Drake Tower project was in danger of not been approved so, when faced with a threat he answered without thinking. This story was open to the imagination of the reader. A situation that could lead to something more. Entertaining without sex, only hope for something good.
Hidden Desires by Crystal Dawn
Another story about the white wolves and their mates. Six lovesick wolves that had been rejected before by their mates created a dating service to help other wolves find their mates but first, they began with themselves. This was the story of Sharon and Ven. He was the wolf she had rejected before but now he was decided to win her and used even magic to do so. An interesting and erotic story with fantasy.

She was a witness in a robbery and an unsatisfied woman. Her life was in danger and while in the journey to testified with the Marshal she found the vampire. She knew what her duty was but she was torn between her feeling for the Marshall and the vampire. The three of them shared passion and awakened something that could last.

A FANTASTIC fast paced well written creative read by a truly gifted author. Fabulous dialogue, breathtaking scene descriptions, and intriguing plot keep you glued to the story. The chemistry between Sarah and Danny is more than convincing, and their sensual romance is filled with fiery passion. I loved the concept of the best friend and build up to the romance, as it made a most entertaining read. If you treasure shifter romance this is a terrific book for your library. {I was gifted this book, and this is my complete honest review}. In the world of shifter romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservation I recommend this book.

After reading Alpha Heat I was so ready to read Alpha Fever. I was right, I needed more of these stories. This is a large bundle of authors and stories and I glad to get a chance to read them. Some of the authors I knew and was glad to see again and some were new to me. I have to be honest and say that some of the stories I loved and others I liked. I think all the stories are good, it's just some were not my favorite. I now have new names I will look for and even the ones that weren't my favorite I will look to see what new they release to see if I like it better. For me that is a win/win. So many new and exciting books and these with multiple authors to let you be exposed to new people is great.
I like that you can pick up and read a story and just take a break from the real world a little at a time.

I loved every minute of reading this anthology of short stories they were hot and sexy and there were shifters everywhere you looked or read in this case. I'm so glad for the chance to read these short stories as this was one of my most favorite anthology reads so far this year. The storylines in it were great and the characters were all well read. All the authors who contributed did a really bang up job bringing us this collection of short stories. I would highly recommend this to anyone who asked there should be something for just about everyone inside. Don't wait grab your copy today I really don't think you will ever regret it for a second.

This collection of books was awesome. I actually went back and forth between Alpha Heat and Alpha Fever to get the snippets of the stories. This collection was put together very well. A mixture of paranormal and contemporary stories so you don't get bored with one genre.

I also loves that all these books were originals and not books previously printed or sold separately. Each stand alone was intriguing and wetted the appetite for more.

I enjoy each of the authors and went searching for more when I was introduced to someone I hadn't read before. This collection is well worth the time to read and don't forget get Alpha heat which complimentshould each story, but isn't required to enjoy each new stand alone.

Thank you to all the authors for working to put together can't wait for more.

This is a partial review as I haven't finished all of the books, yet, but was having so much fun reading that I wanted to post about this set!

The books in this collection are shorter novellas, which I really liked as I could just plunge into the stories. That being said, I did feel like most of the characters I have read about so far are developed. Sometimes with shorter length stories you just can't bring yourself to care about the characters and what happens to them as they are two dimensional. Not the case with this collection. The stories pull you right in, but the characters certainly have their personalities! Standouts for me so far are The Butterfly Collector (this was truly a different story and one that sticks with you) and Black Velvet.

This set of books really is a great value for the price!

Omg! I LOVED this bundle of books! Whether you are into Paranormal or contemporary, this bundle has it all. To be honest, I was hesitant about it because I'm not really a contemporary reader but I liked those books in here also. Not to mention, it has some of my favorite paranormal authors. And what also surprised me is that the stories are longer than I thought they would be. There's really a lot more here for your money than I thought there would be. If your not for sure, download a sample if it has the option. Some of my favorite ones would be worth the cost if it were just that book alone. I LOVED the alphas in them. Who doesn't like a gorgeous man going all caveman on you? Of course, there is always a strong heroine to put them in their place.
