As with all of Ann Charles’ stories, I am always drawn in from the first chapter and not released until the last page is read and Rowdy Coyote Rumble was no exception to that rule! With a crazy bunch of characters that I look forward to reading about and the shenanigans they get into, it’s hard not to fall in love with these books! The main character is Claire Morgan and she has a way of finding herself in the deepest do-do at times. In this story, it is her sisters that get her into a whole heap of it and the outcome is always hilarious…especially when the sheriff is dating one of the sisters! If you have been reading this series you won’t be disappointed with the fun and predicaments the gang gets into and you can expect to be highly entertained as you read along with a lot of laughing, snickering and holding your stomach due to a comedic antics of this great cast! Yes! Ann has done it again and has written a great story with a mystery that I didn’t see the ending of until I got to it and also a little romance thrown in between Claire and Mac. Also…Claire is faced with a big decision that could change her life for forever. Will she or won’t she is a big question that you will have to read the story to find out! As I said, if you are a follower of this series, you will LOVE this fourth book and if you haven’t read any of the fun books in it you definitely should because it is one of my favorite series along with Ann’s other stories. I am always recommending them to friends and that is not something I would do if I didn’t love them! Thank you Ann for another hoot of a read and can’t wait for book five…!

ok so the Morgan sisters are back and getting into trouble.
I found this book to be more Ronnie and Kate story but not to fear cause Claire and Mac are causing trouble too.
Kate is getting crazy, Ronnie is more paranoid and Claire is trying to be the sane one as the Law keeps getting in the way.
funniest of the 4 and I will say I can't wait for the next one.

More "Rolling on the Floor Laughing" action from the Morgan sisters!
The 4th book in the Jackrabbit Junction series does not disappoint, with more of author Ann Charles' unique brand of humour/mystery!
The characters get more hilarious and we learn more information about their backgrounds, as well as the diamond/RV park mystery, with each passing book. The escapades of Claire Morgan and her sisters are hysterically funny, as are the rest of the Jackrabbit Junction gang. I especially enjoyed Aunt Millie and her gang of grannies/tyrants who rule the local library. Romance is also well represented between the Morgan girls and their beaus, and their mother and grandfather's love lives...there must be something in that Arizona air!
What more could you ask for in a book, with romance, danger lurking around every corner, murder, attempted murder, and still have laughs galore!?
Highly recommend!

Once again Ann Charles scores a winner. With the fourth book in her Jackrabbit Junction series Ann spins a new tale of adventure with the Morgan sisters that doesn't fail to entertain. What I love most about Ann's writing is how she flips humor into the stories and ties in funny facets of life we have all grown up with. Love the song references--lol. As a fan of all things written by Ann Charles, I also like the slight connections she makes to her other series---Deadwood---it pulls all her books full circle. As always, the antics of Claire's mom and the continuing issues of her 2 sisters spins a great tale---and don't forget Mac! Her relationship with is still a key factor in this book. I highly recommend this and all Ann's books!

The Morgan girls are back! Ann Charles has, once again, crafted a humorous, suspenseful, sexy story of the three Morgan girls, Claire, Ronnie, and Kate in Jackrabbit Junction. Charles is a master at creating mysteries in her stories, some of which are resolved at the end of the book, some that continue on to the rest of the series. You'll enjoy this book even more if you read the first three in the set. Having all the backstories helps so much. But, you can still have a very fun read if this is your first time through the Jackrabbit Junction stories. Her stories are well-planned out and her characters are complex. I love all of her series. Once I started this book, I couldn't stop until I finished it.

Ann Charles has a quirky and totally refreshing sense of humor and it shines through in her books and this one is no exception! The Morgan sisters are totally amusing with their unique personalities, sibling rivalry and large doses of dysfunctional that most can relate to. Throw in some hot romance, a little angst and a good mystery, and what more can you ask for?
Ann creates a world of realistic characters, crazy antics, a little heart stopping action and fun, quick witted dialogue that flows off the pages and is a joy to read!
I think this one is my favorite one yet...at least until the next one comes out, and oh yes, I can't wait for the next adventure!

Best one yet

This series is a great read. Claire's emotional growth had been a treat to read. The addition of her mom and sisters to the mix kept me smiling snickering and snorting every page. Highly recommend you read in order.

I give The Rowdy Coyote Rumble a full 4 stars out of five. The chapters switch points of view to different sisters and love interests. The series continues as the Morgan sisters wreak havoc on Chola County. Claire, Veronica, and Kate are also dealing with oersinal matters with their beaus. The surprising breakout star in the series for me, is Veronica. I love Claire, but Veronica's voice tends to stand out more for me now with each book. I love the relationship developung with her, Grady (aka, Sherriff Hardass, lol), and his mischievious Aunt Millie (whom I ADORE). What brought down a star for me was the dialogue between the sisters. I felt each conversation was about the same in each scene when all 3 were present. A lot of bickering, arm punching, and references to each sister thinking the others are keeping secrets from each other. I didn't feel a connection between the three as much as they tolerate each other's existence. What keeps the score up is Manny's new role in their lives, but it is a *little* creepy for me that he would jokingly hit on the girls when he has a more caretaker role in their lives now. It's a fun read, but the scenes between the sisters interaction with each other really slowed down the book for me. Kate in particular was uninteresting for me except her scenes with Butch. I don't know why, but I had a hard time zipping through this one. Usually I get through books no longer than 1-2 weeks when I'm busy, but this one has taken me weeks longer to get through. I think the Polar Bear references with little background at the beginning to give new readers reference if why they should care, and faithful readers like me having a hard time remembering if I hadn't completely reread the series, and Kate's unrealistic personality tooke me out of the stiry a bit. **SPOILER WARNING FROM HERE FORWARD**

I didn't feel that this mystery was as solid as the others were, but it's leading up to what I think is going to be a major showdown between a certain, possibly not dead, Joe, and the Morgans. What bothered me was the references to The Polar Bear so many times, that unless you've really read the other books in the series, you can't quite figure out in the beginning why the Morgans even care about this guy.

*END OF SPOILERS*

I missed the scenes with Jessica and Claire, there were few and far between. I'd also like to see more scenes with Mac and Claire, and Mac and Claire and Jessica, Ckaire and Gramps, and Claire and Ruby. While I love that there is more of a "group," in the storytelling with the sisters, again LOVE Veronica, I miss the central story and scenes with Claire and Mac. But, overall, a FUN read, and I recommend the series to anyone who hasn't read Ann Charles before! Can't wait for the next in this series! Also, don't forget to check out Ann Charles' Deadwood series! You've got to meet Violet!

This review is from: The Rowdy Coyote Rumble (Jackrabbit Junction Humorous Mystery Book 4) (Kindle Edition)

Ann Charles has done it again! She has delivered another thrilling mystery along with the laugh out loud humor we have come to expect when dealing with the Morgan sisters. As with all of Ann's books, once you open this book be prepared to read straight through, the first page grabs you and you won't want to miss a minute of the fun and action!
This is the 4th book in the Jackrabbit Junction series and I do recommend that you read the first three books to get the most enjoyment out of this series.. All of your favorite characters are back to make this adventure both exciting and entertaining. We get to follow Claire, Ronnie and Kate as they try to stay out of trouble long enough to solve the latest mystery. Claire has a major decision to make that could change life as she now knows it. Kate and Ronnie both have issues to confront that will have you cheering for them and laughing with them. Of course there are the usual bad guys to deal with and another mystery that revolves around the backstory of the Jackrabbit Junction RV Park
I love this series and this book !I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good fun mystery and crazy but lovable main characters!

The rowdy coyote rumble

Ok, it is entirely possible that when I finished this book, I kinda hugged my kindle. I couldn't help myself. This book was just that good! Oh, I so love Butch right now!! And I am so happy that a certain deputy got his comeuppance. Serves him right for messing with the Morgan gals. The writing is excellent, as always. The best thing about this series, and all of Ann Charles' books, is the characters. I don't have any sisters but the Morgan sisters remind me of my besties. Yeah, I am a little too much like Claire for my own good. I wish these characters existed off the page because I would love to have a beer with them (and cause some mischief). Yet at the same time I know many folks who are just like these characters. I just love the worlds that Ann Charles creates. They are both interesting and fun. I would be more than happy to bust out my tool belt and head down to Jackrabbit Junction. I think Claire will need the help because I have a feeling Kate is going to be spending a lot of time in the slammer. I highly, highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone who will sit still long enough for me to rave about it.

“The Rowdy Coyote Rumble” – Another great read by Ann Charles! She has yet to disappoint me with any of her books. A great writer no matter what story she is telling!

“The Rowdy Coyote Rumble” is the 4th book in Ann’s Jackrabbit Junction Mystery Series. This book sees the Morgan sisters in another great story with trouble abounding for the sisters as well as romance, mystery, and adventure. All of your favorite characters from the first three books return to try to keep Claire, Ronnie, and Kate out of trouble. Does it work? You will have to read this great story to see.

Ann tells a story that is hard to put down with writing that draws the reader in and paints the picture of the whole story as if you were watching it unfold before your eyes. Her descriptions of the characters, places, and happenings really draw you in and make you live the events right along with the characters. Ann has a great way of bringing all of her characters to life for the reader and they are always depicted perfectly for the stories that she tells.

The Rowdy Coyote Rumble

I LOVED this book, just as I loved the previous three books in this series. I read a lot of books and can rarely remember the titles or stories 2 weeks later. Not so for this saga. Beginning with the very first, Dance of the Winnebagos, we are introduced to the most colorful, mischievous, and loveable characters you will ever meet. Ms Charles develops each character with such realism that we feel that we have always known someone just like that.

Normally I am not a fan of humorous stories, and got book one as a freebie. I was so hooked that I immediately purchased books 2 & 3, read them without a break, then sat waiting and hoping for a #4. When it arrived, I felt like I was greeting long-time friends. Ms Charles did not disappoint.

All you readers of mystery stories, grab yourself a copy of this series and get ready for s one late nights, because you won't be able to put it d own.

The Morgan sisters are back in the latest installment of the Jackrabbit Junction series. I love this series. It's part mystery, part humor, part romance, part adventure, and in general a whole lot of fun with characters you will enjoy getting to know. Set in the mythical town of Jackrabbit Junction, Arizona, the series starts with Dance of the Winnebagos, and I recommend starting with that one and reading the whole series in order. In this latest volume, the Morgan sisters are in more hilarious trouble than ever, but reading the rest of the series first would greatly enhance your enjoyment of this one, as some of the interwoven plots have become a teensy bit complicated.

Another cute story about Claire, Ronnie, and Kate and their dysfunctional family. If I had been in jail as many times as they have, it would be awful but they make it sound like a common event. It is a common event with their deputy sheriff out to get the Morgan Sisters at all costs. I love the humor that Ann Charles uses to tell about their antics. The fact that she is one of three sisters just makes it even funnier. The book leaves you feeling good that this time Mac & Claire might be permanent and Butch & Kate will be baby parents soon. As for Veronica and Grady....well they just seem like a hot couple and with Aunt Millie pulling for them they will be just fine. All of these books are fun to read but I recommend starting with the first in this funny series. The Deadwood Series is also great with some crossover characters since they are all one big family.

Ann Charles is one of my favorite authors. In book four of the Jackrabbit Junction series Ronnie's past or actually her not really my husband's past, finally catches up with the Morgan sisters and their motley, extended family. A couple of hitmen learn the hard way you mess with Ronnie. Claire and Katie at your peril. Katie's (don't call me crazy) pregnancy has made her behavior increasingly erratic, but she knows that biker who came in the bar is one of the assassins and she is determined to prove it to her sisters no matter how many times Deputy Dipshit, uh, excuse me, Deputy Ernie, throws her in jail. Ms. Charles has nearly perfected the art of mixing drama, humor, action, and the peculiarities of small town life into a satisfying read. So grab a cold one, pull up a chair and enjoy. You won't be sorry.

What a Rowdy read!

Ann Charles' series about the Morgan sisters and their adventures in Jackrabbit Junction is one of my absolute favorites. I couldn't wait to read this new installment, and it didn't disappoint! From hair-raising moments in an abandoned (or is it?) mine to tender, tear-inducing moments between the sisters and their beaus, I was glued to my Kindle! These books have everything: romance, humor, intrigue. All while showing true caring between the dysfunctional members of Claire's family. I also love the RV park setting and vivid descriptions of life in the desert. Ann's books always leave me satisfied, while still wishing for more. Check out this series, along with her others. They're sure to become your favorites!

In this latest installment in this funny and sexy series, Claire Morgan and her sisters, Katie and Ronnie, find themselves on the lookout for shady characters while navigating small-town life in southern Arizona. Claire must decide whether she’ll follow Mac if he takes a much-desired promotion, Katie must deal with her out-of-control hormones from a surprise pregnancy and the fact that Butch doesn’t want kids, and Ronnie finds herself falling for the Sheriff while hiding important info regarding a cache of diamonds she and Claire happened to stumble across. It’s always great fun immersing myself into the world of Jackrabbit Junction, with snappy dialogue, hilarious predicaments, and steamy romances leaping from the pages. I loved it! Once again, Ann Charles has done good.

Another great read from Ann Charles. This fourth entry in the Jackrabbit Junction series is easily as good as the rest of the books. There was lots of mayhem, suspense, romance and downright hilarity. All the Morgan sisters are hip deep in romance and legal entanglements. Kate's encounters with Gray's deputy are particularly funny. Some mysteries are solved while others remain for future stories. I really liked this book and found myself laughing out loud several times. I also enjoyed the illustrations and wish more had been included. Highly recommended. I can't wait until the next book comes out.

Danger in the Desert

Those Morgan sisters can really stir up a dust cloud in the desert! Three sisters, each with their own special brand of danger. Claire is positive somebody is coming after diamonds she and her sister took from smuggling mules. Her sister Ronnie is bait for the FBI. Little sis Katie, hopped up on pregnancy hormones can't stop herself from antagonizing and tripping up an incompetent Deputy. Each of these wild girls has her own hot romance going on. Mix in the rest of the rowdy Jackrabbit Junction characters and we have a book that is fun from the first page to the last.

I loved this book. It is the latest in the ongoing trials and tribulations of the infamous Morgan sisters. And of their respective hunky boyfriends. It continues the mystery of the diamonds in the box of eyeballs hidden at the RV park. Yep, box of eyeballs. All kinds of bad guys are coming out of the woodwork after those diamonds. A new mystery is developing around an abandoned mine which now belongs to Ruby, newly married to the sisters' grandpa, and owner of the RV park. If you have been reading the Jackrabbit Junction series you will certainly want to read the latest. If this is all new to you, get with it! You will enjoy the ride.

Absolutely LOVE every single one of Ann Charles' books. The Rowdy Coyote Rumble definitely does not disappoint. The story is equal parts suspense, humor, and romance. The story does not bog down or become predictable. Love how fresh Ann keeps her stories. If only Jackrabbit Junction was real, I would sell my house and take up residence in my camper at the Dancing Winnebago RV park so I could have a front row seat to watch the ongoing antics of the Morgan sisters! I might have to spend my summer's in Deadwood, tho, to keep an eye on Violet and Doc. These books are an absolute must read!!! Can't wait for the next one!!!!

Ann Charles does it again! Laughed so hard. YEAH all my favorite characters are back. I couldn't put it down read completely through in one day. It is that great!!
Yes I have come to the realization that Claire and I are twins!
I am curious to what is gone to happen with Kate among other things. I am anxiously awaiting #5 in this wonderful series! Wonderful storyline, great mystery, some bad guys but good wins in the end. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a great book that keeps totally captivated from page one through the very last!
Kudos Many Times Over Ann Charles!

Excellent! Katie is crazy as her sisters would say. According to Butch it is because all the women in his family when they get pregnant go crazy for nine months. At least Katie and Butch are back together before the end of the latest round of action by the Morgan sisters! Sheriff Hardass and Ronnie are moving along nicely and Aunt Millie is a bit of a helper. I love their series as much as the Deadwood series. I hope that I have not read the last of the Morgan family as the books are well written, humorous and captivating. Sometimes you are tempted to read ahead but I am not inclined to do so as I enjoy trying to figure out the clues. Is Joe still alive???

The rowdy coyote rumble

I love the characters that Ann Charles has created. The Morgan sisters are one crazy but lovable characters.
This time the youngest one,Katie, goes a bit off the rails, with Claire and Ronnie trying to real her back in.
And the dirty dealings of their step grandma's deceased husband,or is he deceased?
And Ronnie's prison inmate of an ex husband dealings with the underworld, could bring both worlds done on top of the Morgan sisters.
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

This is the third book in the Jackpot Junction series. They do work as standalone but are more fun if you read them in order. The characters develop through out the books. There is always an adventure and some danger and times when they make me laugh. I have enjoyed Ann Charles Deadwood series as well. Sometimes you just need a good book that mades you smile. The characters in this book are just fun.

My favorite sisters

I love this series, and this book is especially wonderful. I have loved the fun banter and playful dialogue in all of Ann Charles books, this was no exception. But this book covered more of the sisters deeper feelings. There are issues with divorce and repercussions, pregnancy and fears of rejection. This is a humorous adventure, but it dug deeper and I thought it was beautifully done.
