About the author

Rei Tōma (Japanese: 藤間麗,Tōma Rei) has been drawing since childhood, but she only began drawing manga because of her graduation project in design school. When she drew a short-story manga, "Help me dentist" (ヘルプ me デンティスト), it attracted a publisher's attention and she made her debut right away. Her magnificent art style became popular, and after she debuted as a manga artist, she became known as an illustrator for novels and video game character designs.

Dawn of the Arcana is her first long-running manga series, and it has been a hit in Japan, selling over a million copies.

I just want to say that this manga has a lot of potential. Just like before, too fast. Really really fast. And I quite don't get the girl. Its like she just assigns that the person who kissed her, whoever it might be, will be the one she would fall in love with.

I dont get all the lies and cover ups the guy did. On why did he have to lie on the first place.

I really wished for something. I mean, I love Rei Toma's the Dawn of the Arcana . Highly recommended It was such an amazing book specially the big reveal at the end.

Why does this manga have to be a one shot thing?!

Well, I wouldn't say, that the identity of the "kisser" was THAT mysterious,but the story is soo sweet, and well drawn, I just can't help liking it. And if you can imagine youreself a person, who can love a guy from a picure, it's me, cause I love Shinoda-sempai, I love drawing him soooo muuuch!!! :D

Pour mon avis sur le dessin nous sommes sur un méga coup de cœur ! Pour la série ce qui m’a fait acheter c’est clairement le scénario car même si on est sur un shojo là on suit surtout une enquête certes amoureuse mais malgré le nombre de shojo que j’ai lu dans ma vie (230) pour une série courte elle est méga bien développée que ce soit le développement de l’histoire ou des personnages en passant par la relation des personnages pour ce manga j’y mets la note de 9,41/10

Und das ist das Ende eines dummen Manga. Die Handlung und die Hauptfigur machen keinen Sinn. Und die Jungen sind dort nur als Verzierung.

Sie sagen die andere Werke von Rei Tōma besser sind. Ich habe Down of the Arcana zuhause und ich werde es im Zukunft lesen.

I give this ENTIRE series 4 stars for being quite entertaining while it lasted...
I kind of hoped that it would have lasted longer and the search would be more difficult than it was.
All the guys in the manga were really awesome, the female lead was interesting and all the characters together for me were great.
The plot was really interesting and original which made the manga overall fantastic.

The story was charming and I do love the drawings of Rei. The story was cute and had that romance and mystery in it along with some drama in it. I thought it was a nice read and would read it again.

Unfortunately, this didn't really age well and wasn't as good as I remembered it to be. There was also a lot of running away in crucial moments which just prolonged the story unnecessarily.
