Had all I could stand with the two immature, self adsorb selfish individuals. This just wasn't for me, had little substance in way of storyline, mafia feel and action. Bottom line, boring.

Oh, Aidan! You would make any woman’s panties melt off!!

Aidan Hughes is a dangerous man. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t a good man. Deidre LaRusso spent quite a bit of time hiding. Hiding from her past and from Aidan. She learned and loved and attempted to move on with her life after a traumatic event. But life isn’t that easy…for anyone. When the time comes for her to move on and reconnect with those in her life, life provides her with a BANG!!!

Aidan will never forget Deidre. Deidre will never forget Aidan.
For reasons left to the heart they both think the other has moved on without the other one.
One day things change.

Kathy Coopmans has a way of drawing you in. Making the reader laugh, cry, laugh again and become so emotionally invested in her books, and with her characters, that they become part our lives. When we aren’t reading the books, they are missing. At this point it isn’t just Aidan and Deidre that we are wrapped up in but Cain and Calla, Roan and Alina, and all the Syndicate family. I’m totally invested and can’t wait for the next book. I need more now!!! ~ Heather, 4.5 stars

Words are not adequate to express how much I loved this book. Maybe it's because I'm a sucker for a sinfully hot man who's also an excellent father, but who isn't? I swear my ovaries were exploding as I read every page of his being such a loving daddy. My heart physically hurt with the want I was experiencing for that in my own life.
I know I say this in a lot of reviews, but I'm going to say it again- READ THIS SERIES IN ORDER! The story line continues from book one until now. I've heard this can be read as a standalone but if you do, you will be lost and not know who certain key characters are. Seeing the interaction between Aidan and Deidre from book 2 is imperative to laying the groundwork for book 3.
When the book begins it's been a year since the end of the last book. Aidan still can't stop thinking about Deidre and uses alcohol and empty pu**y to try and forget her. He's certainly not living a life conducive to being a good parent and I was actually worried how he was going to react to not only seeing Deidre again but finding out he had a baby she hadn't told anyone about. But he surprised me in a huge way. I never imagined that the hard and gruff man from the last book would describe himself as feeling "joyous", or freely let tears fall down his face while looking at his baby and the woman he loves who gave him that gift,... or that realizing he was a father would literally bring him to his knees because his heart was so full. I could go on and on...he never failed to exhibit actions or emotions that I honestly didn't know men were capable of, not even book boyfriends.
This was a read I never wanted to end. Every time I looked at the percentage done I wanted a way to slow it down, so I would go back and read favorite parts, or even just the last few pages again, but I couldn't make it last forever. I did want to find out what happened and continue the story, I just didn't want to be done with Aidan. If these first three books are any indication of the upcoming books in the series the I have high hopes of seeing him again in future books!

This is the third book in the Syndicate Series. Although it can probably be read as a standalone, you'll know more about the characters and what's going on if you read them in order.

Aidan and Deidre had a love/hate relationship the moment they met. The sexual tension between them was as intense as the screaming matches they got into. They had one hot night together before she was hurt and Aidan was forced to watch. For a year she's been gone. For a year Aidan has thought about her daily. Now Deidre is back and she has a surprise for Aidan.

I really liked Aidan. I loved how protective he was and how he knew that he and Deirdre belonged together and made it happen. He never questioned Deidre or doubted her and their lives were able to change for the better. Deidre drove me a little crazy sometimes with her inner thoughts but for the most part I liked her character as well. I was glad she didn't fight Aidan and pretend she didn't want the same things he did. She thought of Diesel first and that was the way it should have been.

Looking forward to Dilan and Anna's story next.

I just finished The Absolution of Aiden and I really enjoyed it. This is apart of The Syndicate Series. I went in not realizing that and even though it referenced situations from the other books, I was able to still follow along and not get confused. All it does is make me wanna read the other two!
Aiden and Deidre have went through a traumatic experience that leaves them broken. What brings Deidre through is she ends up pregnant. Diesel healed her when things would have went worse for her. She is back to inform Aiden, Diesel needs both parents, not just her. I absolutely love this plot. It was done in a way that it wasn't cheesy, really felt the emotion of this through them and all secondary characters involved. I enjoyed that there was still danger that Aiden had to prove to himself that he could protect his family.
I cant wait to see what she comes up with next, especially Dilan and Anna!

3 Absolution of Aidan Stars

I wanted to like this book so much more than I did, it’s a great installment to the series but I don’t know something was missing for me I can’t put my finger on what exactly.

I do know that I liked that Aidan and Deidre didn't fight there attraction to each other they just took it at face value and called it good. That’s not to say they didn't banter because they totally did that. This was also something I liked about this book.

They stayed true to who they were from the previous book. But I don’t know something just was missing.. over all a good read, fits right in with the series.

Same narrator, she was good didn't really make the book pop or anything but I do like her male voices.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

what a wonderful read! I loved Aiden and Deidra! I did not read the first two books in this series but as fast as I can tell that was ok. This book had the alpha male, hot romance and enough suspence to really keep you turning the pages! I can't wait for Dilan's story!

I love Aidan. I love how he is so loving to Diesal and accepts him without question. I love how he wants to know his son and be with him as much as he can. I love how protective he is. I love how he wants to protect those that his real family wishes to hurt. I love how even though his mother was horrible to him once he understands why he is trying to forgive. I love how he feels guilt and remorse and does all he can to show that he is sorry and wants to move on. How he loves completely even the woman who hid from him and tries to fight him at first.

Deidre didn’t like as much as Aidan. She hid from everyone and when she came back it was on her terms. And seriously keeping Diesal from Aidan so so wrong. Heck when were you going to finally see him and let him know. It was Aidan who seeked her out after he found out she was back and the only reason she showed up at his door was because she knew he would come to her and it wouldn’t be on her terms. Even than she kept Diesal at a distance and Aidan had to go to him on her terms. And how she doubted Aidan and yet he trusted her word and was happy. Aidan’s capacity to love and want love is big especially after how his mother was with him. Yes Deidre was a strong person but Aidan helped her become more. He helped her find a way to move on and love again. He believed in her and who she is. He encouraged her and her endeavors. He protected her and was there for her once he was back in her life. Deidre yes she showed love and cared but it was as obvious as Aidan. I didn’t feel it as much from her as Aidan and that is why I wasn’t as enamored by her as Aidan. For me she was more forced into her attraction and love. Aidan it was more natural in his words, actions and demeanor. He oozed sex appeal but didn’t use it to hurt. He was honest and caring.

The story is full of passion, danger and exploration. The exploration of forgiveness, moving on, finding love, acceptance and finding forgiveness for oneself. For finding your forever. The passion from Aidan towards Deidre was felt more that the other way around for me. So was the love for Diesal. yes Deidre was a great mom but for me Aidan and how he was seemed to come off more off the pages. His love for his son, for Deidre, his passion in general was just seen more and more vocalized.

this is a fast paced passionate story of how Deidre and Aidan come together. How they have gone through a horrible past and needed forgiveness from themselves and each other. How they love each other and their son and how they finally are together. How they fight the past of Aidan and his mother to come out stronger on the other side. How this past of Aidan’s affects others and what they do to survive the danger and outcome. the story has intriguing moments, swoony moments from Aidan and aww loving moments from his as well. He can be crass but when he is with his son it is tender and beautiful. We have danger and passion. Love and swoon. Beauty in Aidan and his friends even in the occupation they are in and ugliness in Aidan’s family. A passion filled character driven exciting story where the characters have you go through emotions and keep you on your seat as you go through how Deidre and Aidan come together and forgive each other.

Kathy knows how to draw you into a book and keep you invested all the way through!! I loved Aidan and Diedra's story Now I NEED the next one.

Aidan is a very sexy man who has a heart of gold. He is not a man who does romance but with Deidra the words he says to her had me swooning over and over again. He stops at nothing to protect those he loves, and he doesnt love many.

Diedra is a spitfire and i love her sassy mouth. Shes loving, beautiful, a wonderful mother and I especially love her nickname sweet-tart. Shes been through hell and back and has been away for a year getting her life back on track.

I have yet to be able to choose which characters in this series are my favorite because Kathy makes you love each and everyone of them for different reasons.

The way Kathy sets you up at the end of each book for the next one will keep you coming back for more from her. This entire series is an absolute must read if you haven't started already.

Standing up and being a man...in the true sense of the word!
Aiden is every girl's dream guy... the ultimate male who not only loves with all his heart and soul a woman who drives him to total madness but has the guts to fess-up and accept every responsibility for his previous actions. This novel contained a lot of steamy hot scenes, cute banter, strong-willed and hard-headed characters, knock your socks off humor and one helluvan adventure! A story which captured my attention from the prologue and held onto it till the very last sentence... BTW.... WTF??? Now I'm anxious for the next Syndicate novel! 5 Thrilling Stars for "The Absolution Of Aiden"!!!

I fell head over heart for Aidan and Deidre. They had been through hell and back together and had been separated afterwards. When Deidre comes back into his life she doesn't come alone and she rocks his world. They really are scorching hot together and holy piercing. I really loved Deidre. Even after everything she had been through she is still so strong and sassy too. Aidan is simply delicious. Their story is full of passion mixed with a bit of suspense. I loved it.

I give The Absolution of Aidan 5 hearts!

Well I knew what was coming in regard of Deidre and Aidan for the the way book 2 ended but never in a million years would've imagined how it play out, but I loved it. Aidan's response was so beautiful I loved it and I love him (and he's pierced ;) jajaja)

I'm loving this series so much.

So I have to admit that I am new to this series. Crazy right?

So when i was doing my pre-orders for the week my eyes are drawn to this cover. This gorgeous cover. This cover that had me bringing the laptop closer to my eyes.

And if the cover wasn't enough to hold your attention the fact that his junk is pierced

So I didn't want to go in not knowing the rest of the other books. So I settled in and binged on all two books. From the minute I opened Cain I couldn't and I mean couldn't put it down.

So now I'm done with Cain, done with Roan and I'm sending Kathy messages. The countdown. The wait was killing me.

Finally the wait was over. Midnight struck and I got the book. Sigh. It was on!

Aidan Hughes
I was cruel to Deidre La Russo. Said things I should never say to a woman.
Seen things happen to her.

Ok so Aidan, Aidan, Aidan. I hands down claim you. You are mine. When you got glimpses of him in the other two book you always wondered what his story was. And then Roans book happened and you sit there shaking. Wondering. Hoping. Praying. That this nightmare would over come him

Well it wasn't it was far from ok. It was hard. It was dark. It was brutal.

I felt helpless.
Defeated.
The memories are more tortuous than the act of her torture.

So no matter how much he drinks, or how many times he takes women to bed, he just can't get the thoughts of the one woman who has claimed his heart.

Deidre La Russo

Ok this woman, I tip my hate to her. Not only did she survive something that was so traumatic she did it on her own terms.

One of strength and determination to fight. To gain control of the sh*t life throws at you unexpectedly.

But she couldn't do it on her own she needed help.

I have my reasons for leaving.
I lived through hell.
I was beaten, tortured. Drugged.

So she left. Disappeared. But not for long. Nope she couldn't stay away from her life. She also couldn't stay away from Aidan. She was ready now. She was healthy now. She was coming back and she was bring him a gift.

There are no words to describe this incomprehensible feeling. This little man and I stare at each other. Me with great intensity , him well hell, I have no clue what's running through his little brain right now.

Yup you said it. She comes back with Aidan's son. A clone really. Was it planned? No. Was it a gift? Yes. Was it everything that he has every wanted in his whole life? Yes Yes and Yes

So Aidan does what Aidan does he bulldozes his way into living with them. I mean come on who is going to stop him. The minute these two set eyes on each other, the sexual chemistry is explosive. It's panty melting. It's heart palpitating.

So one thing leads to another. And another things leads to another, and now they are a family. Not only does Aidan jump into father hood, he's ready to take everything by the horn. But you know it can't be that easy. Nope not a Kathy Coopmans book!

You see there are secrets.

Danger brought us all together.
Danger may rip us apart.

I read this book in one sitting. I stayed up till my eyes felt like sandpaper. I stayed till the end. I just couldn't go to bed without knowing how this would all end. It was just that good!!!

It also left you with question for the next book. Questions that I plan to find the answers to!

OMG! This series gets even better and I loved Aiden and Deidre’s story. I could believe all they went thru but to come out stronger, that is what makes them such a kicka$$ couple.
Deidre went thru this hellacious event over a year ago and ended up having to go seek treatment to recover from that event and while there found out she was pregnant with Aiden’s child. Knowing she wasn’t recovered from the trauma of what happened while she had been kidnapped and held hostage, she chose to stay and recover. Now Aiden didn’t know, not did anyone except Deidre’s parents that she was pregnant. I know that it about did her in but she stayed to get well in both mind and body. I can image the horrors that were inflicted that day and when she was finally ready, she came back home-to Aiden with his baby son. Because while she was seeking treatment, the only thing that kept her going was his voice and his face and also then the fact she was carrying his child.
Now she is back and she is afraid of the outcome but she shouldn’t have worried for when Aiden found out –it was like Christmas and the Easter Bunny rolled into one-Aiden was shocked that his love was back. He is so delish. He makes women’s’ panties drop just by looking at them, thsts how handsome he is. Aiden was been craving his woman for so long, because he has been dreaming him, worrying about her, going insane without her and when he gets word that she is back, he literally drops everything and runs to her. Then he sees his son and his heart stops—Now he will never let her go, never lets them both go. Aiden knows that this is an uphill battle for her heart and that there is a battle brewing---He said some cruel things before the abduction and he hasn’t forgiven himself about what happened to her. What Royal did to her, to them. Will she ever forgive him? Because he can never do it…but for their son, will she? He didn’t protect her and that is driving him insane and he just wants her back in his life.
Then on top of it, there is more drama with Aiden and his side of the family who are out for blood and decide to pick up and go after him and his- and when Aiden finds out , he goes off because they seek to harm his Deidre and son. That so isn’t a good idea-Only can Deidre calm down her man.
Reading about these two will get your pulses racing and the sex is off the chain. Also the angst is plenty in this book. Regret can take you so far but forgiveness and love can take you farther. And Aiden and Deidre truly love each other. Trust me , the steam factor is 100 % HOT in this book and I LOVE IT (smile). I’m looking forward to the next book in the series and Dylan’s story- because of how the book ended-OMG things look not so good for Dylan –need the next book NOW.

***I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are 100% my own.***

We met Beamer in Wrath of Cain. He is one of Cain’s right hand men. Then in Redemption of Roan, he took the role of protector for Alina’s friend and the Diamond family’s attorney’s daughter, Deidre. To her, he was always Aiden, never Beamer. We left off there with her coming back a year after those fateful events that are forever scared on her and Aiden’s minds. I cannot divulge the why she left, or why she came back. But neither she nor Aiden were the same after what Royal did. But she needed to come back. She needed to explain to not only her friends but to him as well. Their romance in here never really ended from the Redemption of Roan. It just took a break. And when they came back, they were calmer. They were aware of what they could lose, so they were without much abandon. And it was beautiful and awesome. I really loved this book best.

We still see Cain and Calla, Roan and Alina, as well as John and Cecily and the rest of the Diamond family. We even have a hint at the next book, but it’s merely the barest of hints.

Ms. Coopmans has a treacherous world of crime families that are being threatened at every turn. And you never really know who’s loyal and who isn’t. All I know is I wouldn’t want to cross them. Not in any serious way because John is the last person I’d want to have on my back. But I’m afraid Cecily might be even worse. Something tells me that she’s truly an ace in the hole. But that’s going on into side characters. Regardless, these men aren’t sorry for what they are. And none of these women are comfortable with the life those men choose to live, but they love them and accept them for who they are. Regardless of what they do. So, would I recommend this book? YES. I really liked this one better than the first two, and that’s saying something because I really liked those two as well.

I am proud to say that I actually followed this series. From Cain to Roan and now with Aidan. I liked Cain's book. It was sad in the beginning, but it got very exciting towards the end. The second book was personally better for me. I guess it's because I liked Roan better than I liked Cain. I was really looking forward to this book because it feels like the thrill and excitement just keeps getting up every time.

The Syndicate is a really good series. This book alone gives readers a heroine that's a fighter and a survivor. It's sometimes hard to imagine our perfect little heroines coming from the dark side, living a dark life. But that's this book's heroine. The most important thing about her is that she came out on top. After everything she went through, she showed that she's tough where and when it matters. The hero was swoon-worthy. It's illogical, but it's hard not to root for him.

I really like Kathy Coopman's style of writing a mafia series. It's not too bloody or hopeless. There's just enough romance, violence, and conflict for readers to enjoy. But it never goes over the top for readers to feel like there's no redemption anymore. I will definitely be watching out for more books from this series.

ARC received in exchange for a fair and honest review

I literally squealed when this beauty hit my kindle! I've been so excited to read this book, especially with how the last one ended.

Dierdre has been gone for a year and only her parents know where and why. When she returns, she has a surprise for Aidan. Aidan is missing Dierdre but won't admit this to anyone until she returns. Then the sparks fly despite Dierdre saying she won't go there.

I really liked how this story flowed. I loved Aidan's reaction to everything and of course the sex was hot hot hot! Roan will always be my favourite Syndicate Series guy but Aidan with his dirty mouth and alpha male personality is coming a close second!

I knew this would be another brilliant book from Kathy Coopmans but I didn't realise it would be that brilliant!

Definitey a 5 star read from Kathy but yet again she has left me wanting more! I cannot wait for Dilan and Anna <3

This is my first read by Kathy in the Syndicate series. And although I was a little lost on everything that had happened with Deidre and Aiden prior to this book I was able to follow along and fall in love with these characters. I can say that I will be going back and reading not only book 2 to get the rest of their story and how it all started i will be reading book 1 as well.

Deidre even after having been tortured finally comes back home after being gone for a year. Theres something she needs to tell Aidan.

Aidan is haunted by the things he said to Deidre before $h*! hit the fan a year ago. Now she's back and his life is forever changed.

Can they right the wrong that was done a year ago? Can they both get over what has happened to the two of them in the past and move on? What happens when another person from on of their pasts comes out of the woodwork causing issues that could possibly rip them apart forever? Will Aidan and Deidre get their HEA? Find out today when you read The Absolution of Aidan.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, betrayal, suspense, secrets, lies, twists & turns, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
The Wrath of Cain (The Syndicate, #1)
The Redemption of Roan (The Syndicate #2)

This is Deidre and Aidan’s story. Deidre survived a horrible time in her life. Now she has even more secrets. She is trying to move on but she still thinks of Aidan. Aidan and Deidre had an instant connection but will the past make that connect harder? When secrets are revealed will Aidan be happy or furious? Should Deidre have stayed away or will the secret bring them even closer? What Deidre does not realize is that Aidan will do anything to keep her close. He needs her in his life and he needs her to help him heal. Aidan has his own issues with the past and his guilt. Can these two make a relationship work?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

The Absolution of Aidan was my favorite book of the Syndicate Series by Kathy Coopmans. Kathy made me fall even more in love with mafia romances!!

Aidan and Deidre couldn't be more perfect for each other. Deidre is a spitfire with a smart mouth that set Aidan on fire. I absolutely adore Aidan! Can you say swoon!!! If you love to read a book that is full of action, danger, drama, suspense and mind blowing sex between hot alpha males and sassy strong females, then this book is definitely for you. I love that Deidre remained strong when she had every reason to fall apart. I also love that Aidan is one badass protector of those he cares about. He is fierce but oh so gentle. This book made me laugh, cry, scream and swoon. What more could you ask for? The Absolution of Aidan was a five-star read for me.

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!

Holy Crap! Have you ever started a new series and just hated the first book, therefore making you not want to continue the series. Well, I was there a few months ago when I started with The Wrath of Cain. I just didn't like it. Up until then, I had read every single book Kathy had released and loved them. That book just didn't do it for me. So when The Redemption of Roan came out, I was really hesitant to read it. I just couldn't break my streak though. I persevered and stayed the loyal fan course and read TRoR. I loved it. Totally changed my view on the series. And then when I saw The Absolution of Aidan, I devoured it. I have to say Aidan's my favorite! I loved this story. My heart broke for Deidre and was amazed how she persevered. This was fast paced, thrilling, and had me swiping pages to see how things played out.

I have loved all the books in this series so far, but this one has been my favourite. From book one until now, there has been a big change in Aiden. Like the other books, the Diamond family and the Slovak family come together in the time of need. There is always one bad boy waiting to rip this family apart...this time Aidan's step brother shows his true colours.

This book ends making you wonder what Dilan has let himself in for. I look forward to book 4.

Kathy Coopmans has done a fantastic job writing this series. The story has flowed well and you never know how each book is going to end until you are there reading it.

So we know that Aidan and Dierdre suffered at the hands of Royal Diamond. And this is the fall out.....

The prologue gave me goosebumps (in a chilling way)...you know a book will be great when that happens!

Love Aidan
Love that he is pierced
Love that he couldn't forget Dierdre
Well boy, he is in for a surprise!!!!

Dierdre and Aidan are just so HOT together....prepare yourselves.....get a towel to sit on maybe!

'This is the purest love can get'. You got that right Aidan (I say as I have a few tears about Aidans moment)....their love is just so effortless.....love that!

Dilon.....sigh.

One year.

Deidre dropped off the face of the earth after being beaten, tortured, degraded, and Aiden couldn't do anything but watch. The last words they had spoken had been out of rage. Aiden said things that he regrets and that added to his guilt.

One year. One huge secret.

Deidre is back and shes not alone. When she left Aiden and this life behind her, she took a part of Aiden with her. Now that she is herself and stronger once again, shes back to right wrongs and get answers.

This is my confession: Aiden and Deidres story might just be the best in the Syndicate series yet.

Deidre has gone through so much just wants out of the hospital to forget about everything and then she finds out she's pregnant! Aidan manwhore but deep down he's in love with Deidre and can't get her off his mind she's disappeared until one day Deidre shows up saying your a father. But can Aidan win over Deidre and keep his family safe from Junior? Who to trust and not trust? Drama, hot sex and craziness that will make you not wanna stop reading! Whew when will all the drama and enemies stop? A must read 5/5 stars Reviewed for Sweet & Spicy Reads - ARC provided for a honest review ***

I'm so in love with Aiden. From the first word to the last you will be wanting more. The twist, turns and the melt your panties off scenes will have you turning the pages faster and faster. You will see Deidra and Aiden fight with what is right, see instant love between a father and child, and get a glimpse of what the secondary characters are up to.

Kathy has once again written a beautiful story and I can't wait to read The Deliverance of Dillion!

My favorite, so far, in this series! New enemies, suspense and more passion and heat between Aiden and Diedre.

Their story really begins in the previous book, but so much was going on with Roan and Alina that it wasn't quite obvious until the epilogue of The Redemption of Roan, so this story picks up right from there.
