Good guide, not many others out there to choose from. Some in game guides like Questhelper are more specific and easier to use. Nothing like getting ganked while trying to look up a quest...

Much as I love d20 (it can really shine under OGL), it really is not the right system for WoW in pen-and-paper role playing. It loses a lot of what makes the digital form fun by shoehorning the setting, classes, and races into d20/DND 3.5 rules. I firmly believe that WoW could have lasted as a role playing game if it had used a new system, one that more closely matched its inspiration. Take a look at the ccg, for example; while there aren't any levels to be earned, all the classes are represented, certain cards can only be used if you're (for an example) a Survival Hunter, etc.
I freely admit to being a WoW fan, and I can forgive that this book was published when d20 was the popular go-to system. I hold out hope that a real, non-derivative WoW rpg will eventually come out.

It was fun reading half of the pages and skipping the rest of the d20 stuff, as Im not interested in that. But seeing how they talked about WoW lore and the view of the game and knowing what has happened since is very surreal. They talk about the forsaken as almost purely evil yet in Christie Golden´s book, before the storm, the forsaken are treated with respect and even in holy settings in a chapel or such. Its wild to think that there was done a 180 since then about forsaken. Read this book if you want to go back in time about WoW.

So simular to the player's handbook that it works well as an extra copy. I love the racial levels and some of the new classes. It's hard to go wrong with warcraft and diablo.
