The Golden Age of the Sith #5

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi - The Golden Age of the Sith (1996-1997) #5

Rate this book
Gav and Jori Daragon knew they could be killed in their chosen line of work — mapping out uncharted hyperspace flight paths could easily result in a deadly meeting with an unexpected meteorite shower or an unknown world. But it's neither comets nor planets that threaten them now. Rather, it's their success that may cost them their lives. They've successfully mapped a hyperspace shortcut — a shortcut which could prove strategically imperative in the event of war. And war is just what Gav and Jori have found themselves in the middle of. Trapped between two factions of the Sith, each vying for control of the galaxy, this sibling duo of hyperspace pioneers has become a pawn to the dark side.

Yes, I have a lot of books, and if this is your first visit to my amazon author page, it can be a little overwhelming. If you are new to my work, let me recommend a few titles as good places to start. I love my Dan Shamble, Zombie P.I. series, humorous horror/mysteries, which begin with DEATH WARMED OVER. My steampunk fantasy adventures, CLOCKWORK ANGELS and CLOCKWORK LIVES, written with Neil Peart, legendary drummer from Rush, are two of my very favorite novels ever. And my magnum opus, the science fiction epic The Saga of Seven Suns, begins with HIDDEN EMPIRE. After you've tried those, I hope you'll check out some of my other series.

I have written spin-off novels for Star Wars, StarCraft, Titan A.E., and The X-Files, and I'm the co-author of the Dune prequels. My original works include the Saga of Seven Suns series and the Nebula Award-nominated Assemblers of Infinity. I have also written several comic books including the Dark Horse Star Wars collection Tales of the Jedi written in collaboration with Tom Veitch, Predator titles (also for Dark Horse), and X-Files titles for Topps.

I serve as a judge in the Writers of the Future contest.

My wife is author Rebecca Moesta. We currently reside near Monument, Colorado.

Thrilling!

Naga Shadow consolidates his power, keeping Ludo - his Sith adversary - from beating him too easily. I feel deeply sad for Gav and Jori who are separated now...I hope brother and sister will reunite.

Naga Sadow goes full Sith Lord preforming some classic manipulation and feats of power. Awesome read considering the beginning of this series wasn't the greatest to me.

"It was amazing." - 5 out of 5 star rating.

This series was great. I really enjoyed all of the Sith Lore, learning about Ludo Kressh and Naga Sadow, and also Gav & Jori's story is very interesting as well.

Looks like this series continues in another ~5 issue spread under the title 'The Fall of the Sith Empire.' Well... with a name like that, it doesn't look good for Mr. Sadow.... lol.

Looking forward to jumping into it immediately.

At the time this was written, the chronology takes us back to the very first written account of the earliest times in Star Wars chronology. I love the artwork and the stories of the ancient SIth on Korriban as well as the Sith War. I love anything that has to do with Sith history and Sith. Tales of the Jedi Series are one of my favorite all time Star Wars series in what is know as the Expanded Universe aka EU, which are stories "outside" of the movies. That being said, there are hundreds and hundreds of these novels and trade paper backs that are out of this world, no pun intended. Now there is a series called Dawn of the Jedi that predates this series that I am currently reading.
