I like this book about Aki the 4000 year old Viking better than his twin brother's story, Viking Unbound. This whole series is about MMF relationships. This one was heavy on the MM, moreso than any of the others. Out of this triad we have a virgin F and a M who has never been with a F.
Also, these 2 human Viking Warriors from 4000 years ago are really into dudes as well as chicks. I know nothing about real Vikings. I wonder if there is any basis in fact that they partied this way. Guess I could use my internet machine to look into it.

Glad for the continuation but lacks focus and detail

In this second Vikings installment we get to see more of Aki and his chosen mate. I was a bit disappointed that the first book (Einarr and Frey) did not introduce their third. Thankfully, their triad becomes complete in this one albeit we don't get a lot of information other than who it is and that they are able to solidify their relationship.
Aki's connection to Sillivan grows with their relationship and experiences along the way as he's coming to peace with his new life. Ironically we don't get a lot from Sillivan other than the fact that she's been burned before. She doesn't really seem to connect wholly to the other characters. Since the story is vacillating between the separate couples, and span two books, it doesn't seem like the connections are as intense as the other stories so far in this series; the intimacy and detail are more focused on certain individuals, rather than everyone's connections with each other and as a triad. I didn't see near as much detail in the characters here in general which was disappointing as that's mostly what drew me to the series as a whole.

As usual....the ending....gah. I was irritated the last one left off on a cliff hanger but even though we get a HEA from both parties in this one, the end still leaves many questions about their continuing lives unanswered. This is an irksome pattern. At the end of each book, the characters just disappear into the ether, leaving you to imagine what actually becomes of everyone. Yes, certain characters have made brief appearances here and there so I'll just hope this becomes more prelovent throughout the series to be able to follow them since the endings don't offer much on the matter.

You can’t have one book about a frozen Viking brother without having a book about the other. This book is all about Aki who is Einarrs twin. Aki is more cautious, violent and more skeptical about this new world he awoken in. When Aki woke up on his ship he took out everyone except the caption and one other that had to live to get them to land safely. Since he was the more skeptical twin I was curious how the author was gonna handle that but she did a great job. Aki and Elli balance each other out, Aki knew Elli was his but Elli was cautious due to her past. This book also includes more of Einarrs & Frey story, not as main characters but as side characters. Both Vikings find thier third in this book. I thought it was interesting that the author chose to write about these characters among two different books, I feel like it gave us as readers more time to enjoy their story. I was glad that Aki and Elli found their third and all the spicy parts that go with it.

Excellent read, Could not put it down. Words, I need to find words! Holy, holy hot! Great story of intsa-love. All main characters stood out in their own way. They face various temptations and danger, and many twists and turns along the way. Why have one lover when you can have more? Why have one soul mate when you can have multi? This book is sweet while being Scorching hot at the same time.

What is happening to this series? I'm so confused, we didn't get to know the second man at all. And neither did she.

I don't mind that the twins story was spread out over two books, but I'm not sure I like how it was executed. There's also very little spice again, and absolutely no romance.

Personal Preference Rating 3.75/5 🌶️🌶️🌶Audiobook (Everand)
I liked the previous Viking book a little better. I didn’t feel as connected to these characters as previously and it was lacking the same spice level (although still quite spicy)

Vikings

I enjoyed how the author continued with the Viking brothers into this book.
The spice and intercultural and interspecies mating is interesting. In how it is brought together in this series.

Telepaths! Aliens! Vikings! Pearce writes the most delightfully trashy books. Great literature they are not, but so much fun they are!

A bit short as compared to the previous books in the series. Could have a bit more elaborations at the ending.

Vikings Claimed by Kate Pearce is the fourth story in her Triad Series. And takes off with Einarr twin’s Aki. Aki isn’t ready to be thrust into a world well beyond what he could have imagined. To add insult to injury is twin has found his mate leaving Aki to navigate this new world alone and he isn’t adjusting well at all. Ms. Pearce does a wonderful job of articulating Aki’s frustration and dissatisfaction. But least you think it is all negative, she balances it quite well with hope. Aki isn’t to be alone for long but can he accept what fate has in store for him? Elli isn’t sure what to think of Aki. She is drawn to him. Teaching him allows her to be closer to him but is she ready to move beyond her fear? I loved that Aki and Elli each have to move past their fear. Ms. Pearce allowed us to see their struggle to accept the love fate has in store for them. This is a wonderful quick read. Kate Pearce continues to draw you into this world and I am enjoying seeing old characters as they interact with the new. I can’t wait to see what else she will bring us in this new world she has created.
