THE GREAT END TO THIS AWESOME SERIES! I LOVED IT!!

*sighs* It's hard to say goodbye to my beloved hot barbaric Mermen and Liv my fantastic girl who is always beside her Roen, Mermen, Mermaid and fight for them all. I really appreciate Liv so much in this last book. She is so strong female character. So selfless, brave and leader-ish like her mate, Roen. This is what I want to see in a heroine. Liv is my girl, and I love her for these! for what she done to help all creatures on El Corazón.

That Bitch of El Corazón is so cruel! but I'm glad to know more about her backstory. The plot is very-well planed. The mystery of this island and Mermen eventually reveal which made the story of this last one interesting to read. I kept rooting for Liv through and through, want her to end the cruelness of this ruthless island SO HARD, and get happy ending with Roen, my hot Merman. So much happend in this one, and oh SO MANY FEELS! <3

Book #1 in the trilogy is currently free -> http://amzn.to/1BOLPD0.

The perfect ending to this exciting and original trilogy.

I loved getting answers to all of my questions about the island and its inhabitants. It was scary and exciting. It was also full of hope, love and determination. I loved the paranormal/sci-fi aspect of it and I loved the incredible roller coaster thrill ride the heroine went on to get the happy ending. Definite thumbs up on the enjoyment.

Read Chapter One -> http://www.mimijean.net/hiddenpage9.html

NOTE: Merciless is book #3 in the Mermen Trilogy by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. It is the last book in the series and it's advisable not to be read as a standalone.

Mermen trilogy Mimi Jean Pamfiloff:

Merciless is book three in The Mermen Trilogy by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. I loved the first two books in this trilogy and once again allowed myself to be distracted and forgot to read the final book when it came out. The whole series is a crazy, intense, wild ride and this book was no different.

“The ride’s not over yet, my love. It’s just getting started.”

Merciless Mimi Jean Pamfiloff:

Our heroine, Liv Stratton, has been through so much. But if she would have to do it all over again, she would, just to meet the love of her life, Roen Doran. She loves him with everything she is. That’s why, after escaping from Shane and finally returning to the safety of home, she finds herself heading back to the evil island, El Corazon, to find both him and her sister who is still missing. She will confront the island and save the man she loves, even if it means dying herself.

beautiful island:

The mermen on the island are dying. They aren’t sure why but their days are numbered. The condition of both the mermen and the island is shocking when Liv arrives. All that is important, though, is finding Roen. He doesn’t have long left so she has some important decisions to make in order to save him.

A lovely merman.:

Liv has changed so much from the beginning of this series. She has done things that she never thought would be possible of her. She has become so strong. She is a fighter. And she is determined to save the man she loves, no matter the sacrifice to herself.

Water:

This book is non-stop from the beginning to the end. But I shouldn’t have been surprised since that is the pace this series has kept from the start. We finally find out what is behind the evil that inhabits the island. And it has a strong adversary in Liv. Along with her strength is honor and she has won over the hearts of all of the mermen on the island as well as the maids. But, will it be enough. Even with all of their support, can she save them, as well as Roen, her sister, and herself?

This series has to be read in order. So get yourself a pillow or something to squeeze or whatever other way you have to help with the stress because this series will get your heart racing. This is definitely a fast paced, nail biting finale with a wonderful epilogue. I loved every minute of it. But, is it really the end…? Only Mimi Jean Pamfiloff knows for sure.

What an ending to a most unusual trilogy! I've read all of Mimi Jean's books, and they are always entertaining...a mixture of humor, sigh-inducing romance, hunky hot alpha men, courageous and admirable women, high drama, mystery, adventure, paranormal doings, and heart wrenching situations. This conclusion to the "Mermen" Trilogy was a first...emotionally exhausting...where I had no idea how the hero and heroine (Roen and Liv) would ever resolve the horrible situations that kept coming at them from all sides. I uttered "Oh, no!", "NO!!!", and "You've got to be kidding me!" so many times at the end of so many chapters, I really had to put the book down in order to arrange my mind and feelings in order to continue with the story. I admire an author that can pull so many feelings and reactions out of her readers with seeming ease...and then calm them down with a satisfactory conclusion after spinning off on a roller coaster of up and down situations. This paranormal series was unusual and unique, with an underlying and timely message, very beautifully presented at the end of the book. Speaking of the end of the book…. is it REALLY the end of the series....??? You’ll be sure to enjoy this action-packed conclusion, and perhaps be as sorry as I was to see the end of the series (is it?). Take heart! There are some great Mimi books coming soon and we are all looking forward to the continuing stories of favorite characters from Mimi’s other books.

This is the third book in the "Mermen" Trilogy. It's an exciting ride and I was sad when I finished it. When I started reading I didn't put it down until I finished. It's exciting, sad and a delightful book that will keep your emotions swinging. Be prepared to block out the world as you experience the continuing story of Liv, Roen, Lyle, the rest of the mermen and the villains (and boy what villians!). I highly recommend this book for readers that like fishy men, exotic islands, monsters, hot sex and even hotter love.

“She always found something about Roen so addictive. From the first moment she heard that voice and saw that strong frame of his, she knew she wanted him.” – Merciless, Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

Merciless is the third and final book in Mimi Jean Pamfiloff’s Mermen trilogy. You can find reviews for Mermen (book one) and Mermadmen (book two) here as well. Fans of the author have been stalking her via social media, watching the progress of the series and absorbing every little piece of story they could get. If you have yet to check out this author, she is offering the first book in the series for free as of December 2015. Mimi has several amazing paranormal romance books to her name, and I absolutely love her King trilogy and Accidentally Yours series. Her humor and unique style offer a different variety of paranormal romance.

The second book left off with Shane having abducted Liv, who was told that Roen died during the competition. In the final book, Liv is taking the gloves off. She has seriously had her life wrecked by murderous mermen without tails or scales and a psychotic magical island entity. Where before she held back, our little heroine has now come to the realization that “balls to the wall” might be the only way to win this deadly game. Facing off against the murderous island and equally murderous humans and paranormal creatures, Liv puts everything on the line to save the mermen and Roen…but will she be able to save herself?

Not sure how to start this review. The Mermen series all together is difficult to explain in words; sounds and sighs of content are more appropriate for me. I first fell into love with the King Series, but now Mermen rival that love. It was fantastic, compelling, and an all around enjoyable read! I'm pretty good at figuring out the ending well before it comes, but I'm always wonderfully surprised with Mimi Jean's books.
The Mermen are cocky and the type of man you don't want to like, but you turn out to love them for who they are just like Liv did. Your hatred for the island grew with the inhabitants and in the end you are overjoyed, but it leaves possibilities. Oh, sweet possibilities, I can't wait to see what could come of them!

What a wild and exciting adventure. This story had me guessing at every turn. Loved the unstoppable spirit of a people united. As is the case with all of Mimi's stories she had people looking at me like I was crazy. It just might be because I was screaming at my tablet or phone with a "No way" or "Are you kidding me" or simply laughing out load in a otherwise quite room. This book was a unexpected but great ending to an amazing Trilogy.

Her laughter died down. "I love you, Roen. Whatever happens, just know that I'm glad I got to meet you--it's been one hell of a ride."
"The ride's not over yet, my love. It's just getting started."

Looking forward to your next story Mimi

The last of the Merman trilogy was a very enjoyable book. The plot finally came to the end and the mystery was solved. How it was done was pretty awesome. Although it was definitely too damn unbelievable, I enjoyed how Viv killed Shane with a butter knife... like really.. A BUTTER knife. It was too damn unbelievable but it was also kinda funny as hell. After that there was nothing Viv would not do to get to Roen, including kill more men. She was definitely too cool about it but personally, I liked that very much. I love bloodthirsty women. (as long as they had the reasonable reasons to.)

After finally read the sexy scenes between our Hs. Yes, They finally did it!! (It was HOT btw) I felt sad and frustrated for Viv when she had to lose her body. I was really pissed off with the time Roen spent with the fake Viv. and like Roen, I liked to believed her son was conceived when they were together the first time and not when the crazy Island bitch took Viv's body.

Luckily, All ended well and it was all for the better.

This series was truly a fun and joyful ride. I read all three books in one gulp. My weekend day and night on them. It was hard to put them down when I wanted to know more. I thought that I enjoyed them much better in one read. If I read them one by one, I would not had enjoyed it as much. I truly loved this series.

So, Ive just finished the stunning conclusion to the Merman Trilogy and let me tell you it wasn't what I was expecting at all! Once again Mimi has her readers guessing right to the end, what an exciting ride!
I loved this book, Roen might be my new favourite book boyfriend and that's saying a lot (my list is very, very long!). I loved the chemistry between him and Liv and *spoilers*.....

Im so glad that they finally got their happily ever after!

I highly recommend this series if you are looking for an original tail (see what I did there??) that's jam packed with romance, mystery, suspense and humor :)

I just don't know what to say about this thrilling conclusion of the Mermen trilogy. Liv uses her wits to escape Shane's love nest of a trap and finds herself voluntarily going back to El Corazon, but Cori isn't doing so well. She seems to have lost her lushness and it's up to Liv and the maids to make it flourish again.

Unfortunately, I'm still not a Roen and Liv believer but Liv was more active and exciting character in this outing. Her actions gave this read a kick to finish it off and the pacing was quicker.

I am so happy on how this book ended for Liv and Roen, I don't think I could take another near death for either one of them again. As true to Mimi Fashion she left a lil cliff hanger to keep us on the hook for more of the story. I am addicted to everything she writes.

Mer-rollercoaster ride 😍

What an amazing series end. Woah.. Wow.. I feel like I'd been on an adventurous voyage with Liv and Roen. The things they had to go through and conquer to be together but that's not even the main theme of book. It's how liv and Roen free the island people from years of slavery and dominance from a cruel power.
So many things I just couldn't have seen coming and definitely i was nervous as to how mimi was gonna end this one. But truly loved every second of this book.
I have to say that I especially loved how mimi has explained the underlying context and meaning behind this series and loved and appreciate that.
I loveeeeee mimi's writing nobody writes fantasy for sure like she does. So much that I'm starting the King's trilogy again. That's my favorite all time series of hers. Yay so excited to be with king agin. Sigh!!! Loved loved this Mer-merry Ride. 💗💗💗

In this book, we read about Liv's determination to save the species and her willingness to sacrifice herself, which was admirable. One thing boggled me was the letter she wrote to Roen, it never got mentioned, Roen should have seen it while they pack up to leave the island, then he should have noticed something was up. Maybe I missed it, anyway, it was a fun read and oh yeah, happy ending! Finally, after all the struggles and tests, this two deserved it! I feel like visiting El Corazon island now that it has changed.

I'm kinda kicking myself! I got each of the books of this trilogy as they were released, but because I had learned that the first one, then the second, ended in cliffhangers, I decided to wait for all three before reading. But then, for one reason or another, every time I was choosing something new to read, l left this series on the shelf. WHAT WAS I THINKING!?
This was an amazing story! I read practically non-stop from start to finish and still wasn't ready for it to end. I don't know if I'll be satisfied reading anything else now. This Trilogy is going to be a hard act to follow.

It was ok

It was OK, but after reading 3 books I'd have liked the final part of a trilogy to have a definitive ending instead of that last bit. Lots of unanswered questions... Where did Salla go if she didn't die? Being a big one... Or are we meant to think she was just a tadpole swimming out to sea until an unsuspecting person happened by etc...Disappointing end to an average series.

The story was all over the place and it felt like the author was trying to cram a lot of ideas into it to explain all the shit happening on the island and it was so tedious to read. Also, the characters and the dialogue got more and more annoying as I got closer to the end of the book (they kept on saying 'well' and 'of course') which I noticed in the previous book as well. I didn't like the writing and overall, the story was just poorly executed.

Ok so this wasn't bad

I wish that the three book could have been combined into one book. The first two I didn't really like, but this book (after getting to understand her style) I liked. I'm still not sure I'm down with psycho island but at least I understand better. Also the madmen were a turn off until the last book. In the end it was worth the read.
