Началото на втората арка от историята на Торгал, която ще го отведе към опасни приключения и далечни земи.

В "Стрелци", той ще се сблъска за първи път и със своята дългогодишна лична Немезида - безпощадната и много опасна Крис де Валнор.

За мен, точно този албум е много любима част от поредицата!

P.S. Езикът използван е на нормално ниво и комиксът е подходящ за изучаващи френски език начинаещи.

Errol Flynn im rauhen Norden
Fantasy, Science-Fiction, Historienerzählung. Alles das ist die Thorgal-Reihe, mal mehr das eine, mal mehr das andere. Hier haben wir das erste mal eine fast reine Historienerzählung, ohne fantastische Elemente, und trotzdem ist alles sehr mitreißend geschildert. Mir gefallen die Bände, die dahingehend etwas ungewöhnlicher, ausgefallener sind, aber deutlich besser.

Zentrum dieser Geschichte ist natürlich das Bogenschieß-Turnier, an dem Thorgal mit seinen neuen Freunden Pied d'arbre und Tjall und seiner neuen Feindin Kriss von Valnor teilnimmt. Kriss ist eine interessante Ergänzung für die Reihe - eine von Ehrgeiz und alten Demütigungen zerfressene Person, die ihre Probleme hinter einem attraktiven Äußeren verbirgt.

Natürlich erinnert mich das ganze an den alten Robin-Hood-Film mit Errol Flynn. Den muss ich nun direkt wieder mal ausgraben und anschauen.

Kreska Rosińskiego to chyba największy sukces eksportowy w historii polskiego komiksu. A Belgijski “Thorgal”, której siłę stanowi, to tasiemcowa (37 tomów plus kilka serii pobocznych) saga o kosmicie, który trafia wśród wikingów i z wyrzutka zmienia się w męża, ojca i bohatera mimo woli (to tylko z grubsza, bo Thorgal Aegirsson wcieleń, również mroczniejszych, ma więcej).

Thorgal op z'n best, met beide voeten stevig op de grond in de Vikingtijd. In plaats van zwevend tussen verschillende dimensies, staat dit album gewoon op zichzelf tegenover de schietschijf.
Tjall de Vurige en Boomvoet zijn betrekkelijk genuanceerd geschechtst voor nevenpersonages waavan de toekomst nog niet verzekerd (was). De Boticelliaanse ravenzwarte lokken van de bevallige Sleutelbewaardster zijn natuurlijk wel een gemis.

Pojawią się pełni życia bohaterowie: Kriss de Valnor, buntowniczka, której brutalność ujawni się później, Argun Drewniana Noga pomocny w prawie każdej sytuacji i porywczy Tjall. Chwila od tyranów, upadających królestw i różnych dziwnych postaci. Po prostu życie.

Jedna z najmocniejszych odsłon serii. Tutaj pierwszy raz spotykamy kilku kluczowych dla kolejnych tomów bohaterów. Świetnie czyta się także poza kontekstem cyklu, więc można położyć na półce bez żadnych zobowiązań

Tendra sus años pero lo tiene todo.
Aventuras con capacidadd de sorprender, entornos que te sumergen en la historia y querer que el comic no termine. Rosinski es todo un maestro y la serie Thorgal mejora segun hace mas hstorias

Un très bon tome, qui introduit quelques personnages majeurs de la série dont l'un de mes favoris : Kriss de Valnor.

Toujours sublime graphiquement, le scénario ménage lui aussi sa part de suspens et de rebondissements.

Thorgal es un personaje complejo, tanto en su presentación como en su concepción. Un vikingo que no es tal, que en realidad es el último hijo de las estrellas a la vez que el elegido de los dioses, mientras que él solo quiere ser un hombre igual que todos los demás.

Los arqueros es una de sus historias más mundanas, sin magos o seres de gran poder por el medio, pero también una de las mejores si no la mejor. La presentación de los secundarios es digna de elogio, un manual de cómo debe trabajarse un cómic, sentando además las bases de futuras historias que serán imprescindibles en su mitología.

Quizá este tomo sea por muchos más recordados por ser la primera aparición de la terrible, a la par que bella e inteligente, Kriss de Valnor. Una mujer que odiará y amará por igual al protagonista, digna adversaria de todo el que tema enfrentarse a ella y como todos los villanos dignos de serlo, con muchos matices que hacen de ella uno de los personajes más deliciosos del mundo de las viñetas.

Thorgal w czasach swojej szczytowej formy, w dodatku wprowadza wiele krwistych postaci, których obserwowanie sprawia czystą przyjemność, bez względu czy są to złe czy dobre osoby. Kriss de Valnor, nastawiona na bogactwo łuczniczka-rozbójniczka. Argun Drewniana Noga wraz z Tjallem, którzy stanowią idealną równowagę pomiędzy rozwagą a pośpieszną lekkomyślnością.

W tle zawody łucznicze, na których można zarobić dobre pieniądze. Zdrady, kruche sojusze i prawdziwe przyjaźnie. To cały Thorgal. Na temat kreski Rosińskiego już się rozpływałem, ale to nadal klasa światowa, nawet jeżeli się zestarzała. Mimo tego bywa miejscami imponująca. Dla mnie stanowi to pomost ze wspomnieniami z dzieciństwa. Istne cudo.

'De boogschutters' is het eerste verhaal van een cyclus van vijf albums die Thorgal verder dan ooit brengt. In dit verhaal leert Thorgal Tjall en Boomvoet kennen, maar vooral de onvergetelijke schurk Kriss van Valnor, die hier haar wrede natuur al meteen tentoonspreidt. Hoogtepunt van het verhaal is een spannende schietwedstrijd.

'De boogschutters' kent een minder aansprekende inkleuring dan de vorige vier albums en Van Hamme maakt er geologisch een potje van door het verhaal deels in Umbrië af te laten spelen, ver van Thorgals eiland en ook nog Caledoniërs (Schotten) op te laten voeren. Waarom deze onzin nodig is, blijft een raadsel.

As always, Thorgal has a practical need such as food and money to take care of his family, so he leaves them alone on their private island (which isn't so private!) to seek these things. He finds himself with a new friend and gets sucked into a contest, paired with someone who may not have the purest intentions. I love this story, how everything feels true to reality and humanity, and how there are zero conveniences for anyone. People are skilled, but there's always a counterbalance. To every success is a stumbling block or major setback around every corner. The characters are all distinct and compelling and I can't believe they wrote so many of these comics! So good!!

We begin a 5 part storyline and with this first Album, we get introduced to new set of Characters, the old tree leg armourer, his lean, lame yet skilled archer nephew, the impressive yet vile Kriss of Valnor as they take part in a bloody Archery competition that puts one's life in other's hand.


The tense pages that showcases the dangerous Archery Tournament are very well conceived and one cannot forget it soon..

J't'ai tout excité quand j'ai réalisé que c'est le volume dans lequel la best est introduite... Mais pour aucune raison les auteurs étaient genre "yo tsé qu'est-ce qui serait cool? Si on introduisait notre personnage féminin badass en lui donnant une scène où elle se capturer par une bande de bandit qui la *******"

C'est exactement ce qu'on peut attendre d'un Thorgal, une histoire simple dont les pages défilent en 20min. Les nouveaux personnages secondaires sont bien amenés et une fois encore, notre héro qui se rêve fermier solitaire est entrainé dans une aventure contre son gré. On se demande un peu pourquoi puisque peut importe ce qu'il fait, il le fait mieux que tout le monde. Sans compter qu'on a jamais vu un héros plus full valeur que lui.

Peut-être le meilleur opus jusqu'ici.

Tjall, giovane e ingenuo, infallibile arciere; Piede d'albero, capace armaiolo; Kriss di Valnor, conturbante e abilissima ladra. Thorgal si imbatte in questi tre personaggi, e partecipa a una gara di abilità per vincere i soldi necessari a costruirsi una barca e raggiungere l'isola dove Aaricia lo aspetta. Al solito: tutto molto bello.

Los Arqueros es una obra maestra del cómic. Aparecen nuevos personajes importantes, está magistralmente guionizado y el dibujo de Rosinski es apoteósico. Must-Have. Es aquí donde la serie alcanza su cota más alta, en lo que se conoce como "el Ciclo del País Qa". Kriss de Valnor dará mucho que hablar.

Thorgal nous entraine encore dans une nouvelle aventure, au récit intrigant et aux illustrations très réussies (dans ce tome, le duel d'archers très réussi), dans un cycle "LE GRAND PAYS" composé des tomes 9 à 13. Les dialogues, les personnages, et l'originalité et les aspects réalistes du récit, que je découvre longtemps après sa sortie, en font, pour moi, une œuvre majeure.

Great art for the fascinating and colourful locations that beset Thorgal's adventure this time around. The introduction of Kriss of Valnor is impeccable and so is that of Treebeard and Tjall. The characters personalities are immediately well established and evidently well written. The paneling for this volume is also really impressive, particularly during the archery competition.

Jeden z moich ulubionych tomów, pokazuje Thorgala od tej przygodowej strony, którą najbardziej lubię. Jest tu turniej łuczniczy, intrygi, walka o przetrwanie i pojawia się wreszcie Kriss de Valnor – chyba najbardziej charyzmatyczna postać drugoplanowa w całej serii.
