PIERCED:

“Oh, Lia, you never challenge a man like me. I promise you; you’ll do everything I want you to do and beg for more."

My name is Lucian Quinn and I own one of the most successful software companies in the world. I’m twenty-nine, rich and single. Impressive right? I’m also a favorite target for every hungry socialite looking to land the uncatchable catch. Maybe it sounds vain, but the fact that I’m a God between the sheets doesn’t hurt my stock any. What these women don’t know though is that I’m completely screwed up and damaged beyond repair by my past. The only part of me I’ll ever willingly give them is the hour it takes to make them scream…several times.

Then I saw her…

I’m Lia Adams and I’m in my last year at St. Claire’s University in North Carolina. I grew up with an abusive mother, and a twisted stepfather who was worse…so much worse. I’m so close to escaping from my past and making my dreams come true. I’ll do anything necessary to survive, even work as an escort to help pay for my college expenses. The men that I accompany to various events as an escort for Date Night are mostly harmless and just want an attractive woman on their arm for an evening. It has never gone further than that…until him…

“I want you to call into work tomorrow and quit your job. I don’t think you need to bother with notice; it’s not likely you will ever use them for a future job reference.”
I nod my head in agreement, fighting the sleep threatening to claim me when his words finally hit me. What the h***? “Wh—What did you say?” Had I imagined the whole thing?
Without looking at me, he repeats his demand. I shake my head, completely confused. “What are you talking about? Why would I quit my job? Oh, no,” I gasp in horror, “are you trying to get me fired because of tonight? It was just cold medicine!”
His eyes are glittering in the darkness. “Baby, if I wanted to have you fired, I would. I want to f*** you, but not when you’re being paid to be my date.”

Circumstances bring two people that should have never crossed paths together and in the days and weeks ahead, they grow close quickly, each seeing a kindred soul in the other. As ghosts from their past rise to haunt them, they cling to each other as their lives start to spiral out of control. Soon, they realize that they’re both damaged possibly beyond repair. Will their love be what saves or destroys them?

FRACTURED:

Lucian and Lia attempt to deal with the aftermath of the violent attack on her by her stepfather. As events unfold in their lives, Lia finds that she can no longer be patient with the man that she loves, because his secrets are tearing them apart.

Lucian cannot deny the fact that he's fallen in love with the brave and beautiful woman who has lived a life of horror. He wants nothing more than to protect her, but soon realizes that he may be the person who will hurt her the most.

To be together, they'll have to fight demons from their pasts that threaten to destroy them.

MENDED:

Lucian finally shares his past heartache and guilt with Lia. Free of the shadows that have haunted them, they are ready to move forward together.
Until…the woman who destroyed Lucian’s life eight years ago is suddenly free. Lucian is in a frantic race against time to convince those around him that Cassie is the ultimate threat to all that he holds dear. He’ll stop at nothing to protect the woman he loves even if he has to wage a war against his best friend to do it.

It has been a while since I have read my typical rich man, totally alpha, insta-love angsty trilogy. Once I started I knew I was going to get sucked in and of course I did...couldn't put it down until the very end. It's definitely one of those trilogies that is full of drama (some unnecessary) and heartache but surprisingly it was also pretty funny at times. I will definitely read Rose's story next and Aiden's when it comes out. I have to know if they get their HEA!

After reading the final book it was hard for me to remember the reasons I enjoyed the first two (and I read all the books together). The final book was unnecessary and completely boring. The author should have included the little action in book 3 with book 2. Author spent too much time setting up the supporting characters for their books. Book 3 was waste of my time and very hard to get into since it had nothing to get into.

Pierced Book 1 One of my favorite series, to read over and over.
Love this story/series. This is my second time of reading and still love it.

Fractured Book 2
I have been so happy to reread this series. I love the characters and how they are broken and yet find love and peace.
Lia is not happy with Lucian not telling her everything. She knows he is holding back from her but how can they go on when his secrets are not shared with her?

Mended Book 3
The end of Lucian and Lia's story but, not the end.
I so loved this story. The love that is expressed between Lucian and Lia is strong and the healing is still ongoing throughout.
Aidan is still going to see Cassie. Rose and Max are still at odds.
Great story.

Good

I found this a good book. Lia is a strong character. She has an inner strength over all her life and has shown Lucian the way to live his life without having to use stimulants to support him. The Author uses a variety of plot points during the 3 book series but her use of humour between Rose and Max and other characters make this trilogy easy to read.

Solid read

This series was a solid read. However, at times it felt repetitive and drawn out. Sexy crazy chemistry and backstory was riveting. Debating whether to continue with Rose's story, which is next in the series.

Loved this story of Lucian and Lia. Wow what can I say about this trilogy. First of all I read this book two times. I read it when I first got it and forgot to write a review so I bought fractured and realized when I started reading it that I had the first book in the series and then I realized that I had bought the trilogy after Pierced that is how good this trilogy is. Okay let me start this first of all takes place in the state I now live in North Carolina. They live in Asheville. Lia Adams is a student going to school at St. Claire University she lives with her roommate Rose Madden who is a wealthy young girl. Lucian is a Billionaire tech company owner.
Lia is a poor student who got a scholarship because she wanted to get out her household. She was raised by a mean abusive mother and an abusive step father. He was so abusive that at one time when she was growing up she knew he was going to try to take her virginity that she heard him talking to her mother about how fat and ugly she was so she was determined to look unattractive to him so she gained 15 pounds in a two week period. He left her alone but he still was mean and abusive. He was so abusive that one time she was ironing and she left the iron on and he was abusing her mother and they came where she was trying to do some work so they would leave her alone but her mother came where she was he followed her and was getting ready to abuse her and somehow touched the iron and decided that Lia had did it on purpose so he grabbed her and held onto her and put the iron on her back until you smell skin burning. He left a mark on her body and it was then she was determined to leave and not come back and she did. She got a job as a waitress and became good friends with the owner Debra and her husband Martin. They became her family and eventually she had to tell Debra about what happened to her because she caught her taking off her shirt to look her back and she happened in the bathroom upon her. I guess I need to let you know that Lia goes to college her and Rose become great friends and roommates but Rose needs money because her scholarship only covered her tuition and room and board so she gets this job as an escort that paid pretty good money to tied her over and that is where she meets Lucian. Lucian needs an escort because he does not want to go alone because he knew this lady named Monique was going to be there. Suffice it to say they hit it off Lucian and Lia. Let me tell you about Lucian. He is the CEO of one of the world's most successful tech companies. They end up really liking one another and he tells her to quit her job and she thinks he is trying to control her but she was queasy because she was on medicine for the cold or flu she had but he wanted her to quit so he could have sex with her because he couldn't have sex with the escort because I guess it was in the contract and he wanted her all to himself. We know that she does it but there is so much that goes on. Book one I give 5 Stars Book 2 I give 7 Stars and Book 3 I give 10 Stars. Suffice it to say that this series was so good I read it twice and it will probably one of the books I go back to because it is that good, in fact I might have to get the paper back copy it is that good. This is a book with Angst, Lots of Drama and Romance. It will take you on the ride of your life and it has a surprise even at the end. To me this three book series is good from beginning to end. Highly Recommended Reading.

I gave this a 2 star rating, and I still feel I've overrated it.

Even though I loved Sydney Landon's Danvers series, I am having a hard time getting into the Lucian-Lia series.
This one seems like a sloppy cut-paste version of Fifty Shades trilogy (by EL James) and Crossfire series (by Sylvia Day).
Lia seems like a cross between helpless college-goer Anastasia Steele, (who in Fifty shades is also in her last year of graduation, just they major in different subjects) and Eva Tramell (daughter of an eminent socialite, coming from family money- just in this one she has no idea about her identity of being Lee Jack's daughter). Eva and Lia share troubled childhood, having been sexually abused-Lia at the hands of her stepfather, Eva at the hands of her stepbrother.
Lucian is the ChristianGrey+ Gideon Cross "inspired" megalomaniac, control freak with a troubled childhood and tinged teenage years. Come what may, Lucian can't seem to keep his hands off Lia and haven't we already read something like this in the Crossfire series?
And like the Crossfire series, the protagonists don't give up any opportunity to shard their clothes and indulge in sex- rough, sweet, hasty, emotional, you name it, they've done it!
I expected so much more from this trilogy, but sadly, I'm highly disappointed.

I first read this book back in 2015, again a year or so later and yet again this week - and I have loved it more and more each time!

Lia & Lucian haven't had it easy...Lia with an abusive mum and even worse stepfather, and Luc with a messed up relationship when he was younger along with a bucket load of guilt - jees I love that man!!

This story has it all, characters that will become your friends, side characters who you will chomp for for their stories, a storyline that will have you on the edge of your seat, an attraction that is so real that you'll shed a tear, passion that will have you flustered *fans oneself*!! and a feel to the book that will have you falling in love with it and be able to read over and over again and never tire of it.

An excellent read that I can't recommend enough!!

I'm off for a reread of Roses story - that girlfriend cracks me up!!!!!

All three books were fairly short, and I finished reading the trilogy within two days. None of the books are Stand-alone, so it was fortunate that I got this accidental purchase for about $5.00.

The idea for the plot(s) was good, but the twists were mostly predictable, and the climax moments seemed rushed when some of the main characters' introspection seemed to drag on.

They're a good read if you want to be spoon-fed a story.

I enjoyed reading this story because showed the true realization of what Lia had to endorsed and was determined to survive. Luciano wasn't strong as many thought he was except those within his circle knew the true person.
Finding each other was what both needed. Showing they truly loved and trusted one another allowed them to move on with their lives.

The previews of the other characters in the book, I feel strongly should not be a charge for the Unlimited Members. I will not be reading them because there're prices are too high. I feel the stories about Aiden and Lee would've been good.

Love it

I bought these books separately before but to have them all bundled together was really easy to enjoy the story. Both Lucian and Lia have unbelievable tragic pasts that seem hell bent on making their path to each other impossible but they prove to everyone that as long as they have each other nothing can year them up 😊

So many emotions...

So I had read the first two books in this trilogy in the past and loved them (not really sure why I didn’t read all three at that time). I decided to read the whole trilogy and I must say WOW! The last book is a must. This story is raw and emotional and I loved every single page!!!!!!!!

I loved Lucian and Lia. I was impressed with Lia most. She went through so much yet she still had an innocence and sweetness about her. Her life was a constant struggle, yet she was not bitter. I was glad she and Lucian found each other. Lucian had his demons to deal with but with Lia at his side he also overcame a lot. They both earn and deserve their happy ending!

Amazing!

I loved this trilogy!

Lucian and Lia were a fantastic couple with such an interesting story that never felt stale. I was drawn in from the very first page. There were lots of interesting characters that I know the author has written books about which is fabulous news! Passion, suspense, romance, fluff, humour. What more could you ask for? 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lucian & Liz Trilogy

A delightful tale that momentarily stumbled through Fractured's narrative labyrinth, yet ultimately emerged as a love story so pristine it could make Cupid himself take notes. No plot twists to ruffle one's feathers, just a romance smoother than a well-aged wine.

Great story!

I really enjoy reading Lia and Lucian’s story. It had everything, funny moments, steamy moments, sad moments and tragic moments. I was so lost in the story that I didn’t wanted to end. I can’t wait to read the other books in the series.

This story of Lucian and Lia is a powerful love story. I could not believe all the twists and turns that happened in their story. I could easy see why the author named them the way that she did. It was a great love story and I’m glad I read it!
