This book does a nice job of covering diverse ways to bring mindful awareness into our daily lives. Mindful eating and relationship with food, breath awareness, quiet presence with our pets... the authors include many exercises and activities to help the reader build a practice of mindfulness in day-to-day activities as well as through meditation. As a psychologist I found most of the chapters useful and will likely recommend some of the material to colleagues and clients.

The book is divided into the following five parts.
For Basic Understanding and Practice For Your Health For the Love of Your Body For Reaching Potential For Subtle Energy and Spirit
This is a collection of living mindfulness written by various authors. I recognize so many of the contributors and knew this book would be a wealth of knowledge. Some of the articles include exercises and meditations. I love the breathwork exercises and find them so relaxing. I especially liked the article by Danielle MacKinnon about pets helping us live in the moment. It just goes to show we do not have to work alone to reach our mindfulness goal.
For years I have been working on being more mindful and have practicing meditation almost daily. This book is so complete and there is bound to be something for everyone. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in mindful living. It is a life changer.
In a fast-paced world, this book grabs ahold of the reader in hopes of finding the internal stillness required to keep peace within the turmoil of the world. The practices in this book encourage the reader to focus within to find peace, and love by connecting to the subtle energy internally. This book gives strategies to reach your maximum potential and can transform your daily living into something more than the repetitive lifestyle most live. Though this book is large, there are varying degrees of topics so that you can find the inspiration and technique in dealing with the outside world. If you desire to connect with the Earth and your true Self, this book will give you techniques to find it.
Some was really 'woo woo', but some was quite practical & worth using. All the different authors mean you can take what suits you from it, although it isn't a book I'd recommend.
Another book about mindfulness and meditation, awareness and being in the moment. This one pretends to be the complete one, for me is just one between the bazillions book already sold on the topic. Your choice.
