i just love monster girls so much

Auch dieser Band hat mich wieder sehr begeistert. Er wurde wieder in vier Kurzgeschichten aufgeteilt, wovon allerdings 3 komplett zusammenhingen. Bei diesen drei ging es um Meru und ihre Mutter bzw. das Reich. Hier wird eine Intrige aufgedeckt und natürlich alles wieder sehr wizig umgesetzt. Man lernt wieder ein neues Wesen kennen und allgemein fand ich die Handlung um dass Hotel und das Meer richtig schön.
Auch die vierte Geschichte hat mit der Handlung aus den ersten drei zu tun, aber ich finde sie hebt ich ab, weil es nicht mehr um die Meerjungfrauen geht. Kimihito verbringt in diesem Kapitel viel Zeit im KH und wird von Lala besucht. Dabei trifft sie auf ein kleines todkrankes Mädchen und freundet sich mit ihr an. Das ist etwas ganz neues für die sonst sozial doch etwas gestörte Lala und als da Kind dann im Sterben liegt, trifft sie eine Entscheidung. Mehr möchte ich nicht verraten, aber diese Story hat mir wieder gezeigt warum ich die Reihe liebe. Ich war völlig überrascht, dass nun auch so ein ernstes Thema mit aufgenommen wurde und wie es umgesetzt wurde. Es ist für mich wirklich meine Lieblingsmangareihe in diesem Jahr.

Sometimes you just wanna read something ridiculous and gratuitous - like a comic about monster girls, most of whom (but not all) have massive breasts. This is pure cheesecake - but it's cheesecake with heart. I like all of the girls (although I have my favorites), and for every opportunity there is for the male lead to be a complete dirtbag, he just...isn't. I can't really explain the inexplicable (see what I did there) charm of this series, but I keep reading.

Un sacco di sirene e abitanti del regno marino... A parte i tentacoli, che è un topos che non mi piace, il mondo marino è stato descritto in maniera molto particolare.

Però, non ce n'è una di popolazione semiumana che abbia abitudini "normali"...

Carinissimo il capitolo finale con Lala.

It seems like they made Darling-kun immortal and able to heal himself inside of a day. The plot of the queen of the mermaids not wanting to have the culture exchange go on and using 2 plot things to make it happen was good. She almost drowned the unkillable for plot reasons Darling-kun. For story reasons Darling-kun did not drown nor did anyone else.
