It was okay. The characters weren't as developed as I would like and I didn't connect with them. The book didn't need to be 3 series one book would have been sufficient. I thought it would be a steamy read but it didn't really do anything for me.

This was really one book divided into three parts by the author. I never understood why. I had invested my time reading the first “book” which had no logical ending. My curiosity led me to the second so called book which took off as an immediate continuation of the previous one. I tortured myself because I could not believe what I was reading. The protagonists were Harvard and Princeton graduates? What a yoke. She gets a $3 million dollar check and goes to a teller to deposit it? So many unbelievable idiotic episodes occurred in between “fucking and screwing” over and over again that I can only categorize this “trilogy” as a pornographic tale that could have been told in one third of the time. I finally had to skip to the ending where only the last two pages summarized what could be the logical ending thus spearing the reader such a torturous waste of time. I deleted these books from my kindle. Do yourselves a favor and do not waste your time.

So, so awesome!!!
I absolutely loved every single part of this series! It was absolutely perfect! Marilyn Cruise wrote a beautiful love story between Michael and Scarlett - from beginning to end. I plan to read this many more times.

Good romance

Okay I would have to say I liked it, really she annoyed but there is a reality to it. Michael really become my favourite, he really has twisted women that he loves first his mother then Scarlett, can I say the name Scarlett was more stripper name to me than Samantha.. I'm just saying, I might be on my own here but cool read.

I read a lot of these books and this one was different, it had a great story, I loved the characters. I really had a hard time putting it down! I would highly recommend it.

Worth reading
This book has a good subject, not new on the romance novel shelf but well written, with complex caracthers and a story that will keep you wanting more.Too bad the ending was so abrupt. Still I will recommended if you need a relaxing and enjoyable reading

I loved this series.. I read book 1 a few years ago then I bought the boxed set and read the entire story.. It was so good.
