I love this series! Most people Shop at JCP.com and don't know anything about James Cash Penney. Well written good pictures...who cares if it was written in 1981!

One of the better books in the series. Covers a great deal of Keller’s life without getting too wordy and long. I did notice that this was missing the more detailed biographical sketch often found on these Value Tales books, but didn’t miss it too much since the book did such a good job.

My son loved how J. C. Penny was able to make a lot of money, become a millionaire, and still keep his integrity, still be honest and fair. I love books like this that inspire us all to be better people and that help us understand that honesty really is the best policy.
