A very interesting and absorbing self-help book geared toward helping us to better understand our emotions, to greater benefit ourselves and those around us. It is very informative and if applied, would definitely help us enjoy a better life with a better understanding of how we feel and how we interact with others. Well worth the money, and well worth reading.

I’m a pretty emotional person and wasn’t surprised when a friend offered to loan me a copy of this book. I didn’t think it would help, but I’m so glad I took her advice and read it. It turned out to be an easy to read and understand, practical guide to managing emotions and stress. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I like this book. However, there are many practice questions rather than explaining the idea of emotional intelligence.

To be emotionally intelligent

Author Jonny Bell gives us full access on understanding emotions and how it makes a huge impact in our daily lives. From the narration about the history of the theory up to instructions on using emotional intelligence, this book depicts the impact of emotions in dealing with relationships with other people. Bell discusses the importance of being emotionally intelligent in handling problems and situations in an informative but very interesting way. He is able to break down the different psychological aspects of emotional intelligence through the examples and real-life applications written in the book which, personally, made some sort of a guide on managing emotions and how to be intelligent about it.
Kudos to Bell and his book, Emotional Intelligence, for sharing tips on mastering our emotions and explaining concepts which we can apply to our self and to our loved ones.

This book isn't very long, but it contains some very useful and practical advice.
It's not written in perfect English, but it's written well enough to be understood.
I think the most useful part of the book is the last 5 pages or so, where they're less theoretical information and more practical advice.
For the price, it's well worth it.
