I can't believe I am so close to finishing this series, I have one more volume left! That's crazy and I am both sad and happy to have almost finished this series. I am sad because I will have to leave this world, but I am happy with how things are now. Hopefully there will be a satisfying ending to this series. There was so much action in this volume and I finished it in 20 minutes. I usually take longer, but this volume was so fast paced and interesting. The other volumes were great as well, but they were filled with a lot of emotion and I took my time while reading it.
Ririchiyo is a girl who was born into a wealthy lifestyle because of what she is. Although she got whatever she wants, she never had the love of her family. Whenever she made friends, everyone ended up getting hurt, including herself. In order to avoid hurting others as well as herself, she says the opposite of what she means to say. She disguises herself as a cold-hearted girl, when she is a nice girl. Later she moves into Maison de Ayakashi and meets so many people that are just like her, and she thinks that maybe she won't have to be alone anymore.
My favourite character in this series is Karuta. I love her hair and her personality. She's cute, funny and caring of her friends and LOVES food.
I love how all the characters are ready to protect one another and save each other. It's so sweet and heartwarming to see all of these characters fight for those they love. Their home is Maison de Ayakashi and they are all family. Friends protect each other without hesitating and that is what was shown in this volume. It also showed the character development in Ririchiyo and how much she has changed from the beginning of the series, until now. I love her character as well as all the others!
I can't wait to read more and finish this series, I praise the author for writing a masterpiece. This is a beautiful story that is unique and something you will experience once in a lifetime. I recommend it to everyone, but be patient. Although I was confused in the middle, I understand everything now and can't wait to see how it ends.
Teda až na poslední díl, ten to naprosto zkazil, protože má žluté okraje a název, což nemá žádný díl, a bílé pozadí. Dávám 33% Jazyk: Aj
Just when I was figuring everything out, this volume happens... I was clueless most of the times but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I like how, even separated, they all feel strong enough to stand up for their own beliefs. And I loved that Ririchiyo's father has the same problem as she has XD
I wish Ririchiyo were taller... when Miketsukami embraces her is kinda awkward, and she looks so much like a little girl it gives me lolicon vibes **shudders**
Next, final volume :( please let everyone be saved... including that one that looks like dead :((
!Cuánto extrañaba ver a mi Miketsukami feliz!
Everything is finally coming together with Inu x Boku, and with one volume left in the series, this is a very good thing. I will admit that for a few volumes now, I have been confused with the reincarnation of our main cast of characters, then we jump back to before the Night Parade massacre and things are different all over again. Even trying to explain why it is confusing is confusing.
Also, the insistence of so many side stories, most - or any - of which don't fit in any order within the main story itself, make it hard to keep track of the main story's progression. (I think separate volumes for side stories would have been better.) Before picking up this volume, I had to revisit volume 9 to remember exactly where we were. And then, after only one chapter in, everything clicked. It all started to fall into place. I went back to look at hints in previous volumes, and they are all there. The mastermind of the Night Parade, everything, comes together and maybe - just maybe - there hadn't been so many side stories it might have clicked together earlier.
All of this is to say that Inu x Boku does have a clear and consistent story despite feeling like it is all over the place at times (due to frequent interruptions of the main story), and it's a good one. I am happy that I've followed this series despite its flaws. I have high expectations that the final volume will be a good one.
This volume includes the group getting separated, seeing what their families want to do with them to keep them “safe”, and then reuniting again. It’s satisfying to see them stand up for themselves, and to see which characters pair up with each other so quickly or reluctantly.
Roromiya and Watanuki are so sweet and I just love them loving each other. Zange is a sweet guy, even if he tries to hide it, and I love all the bromance between the guys. Then there’s Nobara and Sorinozuka, who really have the most open relationship, but it is a real friendship.
Most of them get out relatively easily, but they have to form a rescue mission to get Soushi out. This, of course, shows the new start to Soushi and Ririchiyo’s relationship. They just break my heart every time—they’re been thrown together and torn apart way too many times, it hurts so bad. And now they’re finally back together, and they’re so cute and heartbreakingly sweet.
This leads to the cliffhanger, which sounds rather horrible. The next volume is the last, and I seriously can’t wait to see how it all ends, and I just hope that it’s good. I don’t think I can stand any more heartbreak with these characters, seriously.
I feel like the fantasy part of story is just an addition. ..It can be still enjoyable being only a romance. Anyway, so Kageoru was crazy but a nice person after all. I hope everything will be good again (
These two are freaking adorable. Anyway, really liking this series so far. Probably one of my favorites. Another good volume and that art style keeps getting better and better.
