I absolutely love this series! I don’t want to say too much about this book, and give away any spoilers, but I will say that this was a wonderful addition to a fantastic series, and a must read. We spend time with all the warriors and their mates, as well as the introduction of 2 new characters whom I adored. And as always laugh-out-loud funny comments by Steve (he really has no filter before he speaks:-) ).

“Hey,” she replied, tossing the magazine. “And you better watch bursting into the room like that. You’ve already caught Slade naked once and he wasn’t too happy about it.”
“Seeing Slade and his, well you know, wasn’t very pleasant.” Steve frowned. “It made me downright depressed.”

I really hope Jax and Caroline’s book is next, and I can’t wait for Sloan’s book!

This series is a must read for all PNR lovers!

4.5 Stars, 2.5 Flames
This is the 7th book in The Protectors series and it is best suggested to read the series in order; you will miss out on something. This book follows along after Slade and continues to to have a main poijnt of view of Jill and Slade. Lucky for us it also has point of views of Jax and Caroline, which is the next book.

In A Warrior Wedding, we see Jill along with the other half-breeds struggling to figure out what is wrong with them and why do they feel they are dying. Jill and Slade's wedding is only a few weeks away and nothing she eats will stay down. She is tired of feeling weak and just wants to be able to be the warrior she is and loving Slade.

These characters will find a way into your hearts and make you part of the family. I loved the way Miss Gabelman has created this world that is very different then the average Vampire story. These Warriors protect and love fiercely that you cant help but want one of your own. It was awesome to see the gang back together and really becoming one family.

What can I say???

What can I say about a Warrior Wedding? Love!!! I have been wondering about the dying half-breeds forever it seems and for my man Slade to be in the middle of the wondering keeps it at the forefront of my mind. I have always thought that Jill is one tough lady and this story just shows it even more!! If I ever decide to have a three way it would be with Slade and Jill!!! Lol!!
Slade knows he's not about to let his mate die, but Jill knows she's not gonna be the reason Slade is gonna be thrown into jail, out of the Warriors, and lose his medical license. Who do you think wins?!?!
I LOVE the wedding and I love that Jill's mom came to her senses!!
The story line for Jax and Caroline makes me excited for more and adding the Lee County Pack and Blaze just made the book even hotter!!! Pun intended!!!
Love Teresa Gabelman!! Love, love the Warriors, but more importantly I LOVE SLADE!!!!!!!!

Oh my word, how do I write this review? This story broke my heart. It freaking broke my heart and thank goodness for the warning that "no Warriors or main character was seriously injured during the writing of this book" brought me some small consolation.
I don't want to give away the plot of the story so I'm not going to give you a recap. I think the blurb of the book was kept intentionally vague for a reason.
I loved this story. The main story itself was gut-wrenching to read as I raced through to see what would happen but at the same time, it was wonderful to visit with the VC Warriors again, and to meet some delightful new characters as well.
It was wonderful to once again experience the alpha maleness that are the VC Warriors, their love for their mates, their loyalty to one another and their penchant for violence. It's never a true Protectors story if someone doesn't get a good pounding! It felt like I was visiting with old friends when Steve ran off his mouth and Sid was being a smart ass. Even Damon gets a mention with his tendency to lop off heads. :-)
There's heartbreak and there's healing in this story too. It was a story of love, family and friends, honor and loyalty, but most importantly, it was a story of fighting for your rights, to live and to love, and to be equal in the eyes of the law.
I know this review does not do this story justice because there is so much that I am not saying but trust me when I say that if you have been reading this series for a while, you will love it. You will cry with them as they suffer, laugh with them as they laugh and rejoice with them when they triumph.
I think there will be other reviews out there that will give you a recap of the story, but I'm not going to do it. The beauty of this story is discovering what's going on for yourself.
One thing I will say, it was wonderful to see the budding relationship between Caroline and Jax. It makes me look forward to Jax's story next in a big way. With Mika still lurking out there, the next book is going to be a cracker. I hope we don't have too long to wait for it.

4.5 Stars I love this series. I had so many emotions reading this. I cried happy tears and then not so happy ones. I literally laughed out loud. Steve is a riot and Hunter...what can you say about Hunter. I hope to read about him down in Lee County. I wanted to beat the shit out of a certain City Council. Glad they got their asses in gear. I took off a half a star because there were times I was kind of like "What is hell is going on" and I'd have to go back and reread a passage because I kind of lost track. Other than that, it was wonderful to see all the couples again and I look forward to Jax's and Caroline's book! Oh, what the hell, I'll round it up to 5 Stars!

Arghhh...the ANGST! This book was sad and stressful. Yea - yea - it ended up ok, but man it took the entire book to get there!

ok so I have a MAJOR issue with the plot that I will discuss under spoiler. If you have not read this series - you will have no clue what I am bitching about.

Why was Damon able to change Natalie in book one and no one said Boo about it. But now everyone is going to jail if they even think about changing their mates? I do not get it!!!!

I loved this book so much that I actually carried it around with me until it was finished. You cannot help but fall in love with these amazing characters and the story will keep you interested and entertained all the way through. I am so glad that I read this and I cannot wait to read the next one.

I LAUGHED, I CRIED, AND I FELL IN LOVE!

This is the 7th installment into the insanely rockin' series of The Protectors. It's got a little of everything in it. Although it focuses on Jill and Slade and their upcoming nuptials, it also dabbles in the rest of the warrior's lives. This is still packed with much action, steamy hot sexual content, and some uber funny shit!

Jill is sick. Not just any sick... she's incurable and according to everything being researched, she doesn't have much time left. Of course Slade is working his fingers to the bone trying to come up with a solution that won't effect Jill adversely or the other half-breeds that are coming down with the same illness. Jill on the other hand has moved up her wedding from 3 weeks away to 1 week away and is now going to share it with all her sisters.. Tessa, Pam, Lana, and Angelina! She's also more concerned with everyone else rather than her own well being! Jill is truly a noble human being!

The storyline has so many twist and turns and introduces a new Ex-Warrior Blaze.. ooo-lah-lah. This guy is dark and mysterious and I can't wait to read more about him.

I was pleasantly surprised at the way Jax is turning out! He seemed like such a dick in the last books that I was almost writing him off... not now... now I think I love him! In fact, I know I love him! His book will prolly make me cry my eyes out, but I'm sure will be well worth it. Caroline will most definitely give him a run for his money... and his heart!

So, we get to see more of Hunter, the wolf shifter from the Lee County Wolves series and holy hell... that dude is rockin' the humor and hotness! I bet his book will melt panties! At this moment he's getting more ass than a toilet seat, but something tells me he'll be blindsided by some hottie in no time!!

Steve is so damn funny... I can hardly type this about him without laughing my ass off... I loved ALL of his dialogue. When Blaze was attempting to set him on fire... Steve grabs Jill's napkin, patting his forehead... "Shit, it's hot in here. Are you hot? I'm burning up."

To wrap this up, I was glued to my kindle from cover to cover. This books has everything you'll need for a well rounded story. Love, hate, humor, action, sex, and did I mention humor? Bwahahahaha... too many laugh out loud moments to mention! The characters were very relatable and their dialogue flowed and felt natural. There's plenty of tension and an excellent climax. I love Teresa Gabelman books and have yet to find one that wasn't a complete five star read!

A Love Worth Fighting For Vampire Style!!

Jax even goes as far as telling Caroline to stay away from him. But the tables are turned when Jax finds himself wanting nothing but Caroline. I am anxiously waiting for more on their love story.

While everyone is searching for a cure, Jill and her vampire mated sisters are planning Jill and Slades wedding. With the possibility of uncertain death in her future, Jill moves the wedding up from 3 weeks away to 1 week. Jill also secretively plans on including all the Warriors and thir mates in the wedding. Will vows be said, or will lives be lost?

Teresa Gabelman is a phenomenal author. She has away of drawing you into the story. She captivates you. I feel emotionally connected to the characters in her stories. I was invested in this book from page one. If an author can give you a Quality book over Quantity, it's a winner. Many people can simply tell you a story, but not many like Ms. Gabelman can inspire you with every word she writes. I'm in awe of this author, I want to climb into her head and stay there.

I received this book for an honest review.

Teresa! I Love your face off!! Woman you can write and weave an amazing storyline. Every story gets tighter and better. Every plot line gets more involved, more developed and more awesomer??? Is awesomer a word? It is to me.

So this book is kind of a Slade and Jill book 2….Yes they got their HEA but Jill is sick…as are all the man-made half breeds. So our dashing and delicious alpha male hottie doctor is trying to save all the half breeds he cares about…Pam, Adam and his mate, Jill. Jill and Slade are set to get married in 3 weeks but with Jill’s sickness and unknown future, she wants it sooner but she also wants to share her day with her sisters Nicole, Tessa Aka Me since Jared is my mate, Lana, Pam and Angelina.

The story is actually a great blending of stuff from their last book into this book. We get to see Jill’s family again. We get to see Jax and meet some of his friends…annnnd yum is all I can say. While this book is happening we are hanging with the Lee County Shifters plus meeting a new EX-Warrior named Blaze and boy oh boy can I not wait for his book….I-Che-MAMA. We are also getting a little bit more information on Mika, Jax’s brother. What I am REALLY excited about is Jax admitting his FEELINGS to himself about a certain sister…EEEEP!! I cannot wait for their story!!!

This book has me cracking up…I cant believe it was STEVE over SID plus it had me sobbing……yeah friends SOBBING full ugly cry at times……

OMG!! Teresa has done it again!! Fantastic read So many twist and turns that I never seen coming. I think I fell in love with these Warriors all over again if that is even possible!! I was laughing and crying sometimes both at the same time. I cannot say enough great things about this book I loved that she did a cross over with Hunter from her wolf series he was one of my favorites in that book! You get to meet new characters like blaze i really enjoyed him and can't wait to find out more about him. Soo looking forward to the next book and hoping that Teresa will keep adding characters so we never have to say goodbye to this series. I was in such a reading Funk and the Warrior's were just what I needed to pull me out of it. Warning you will have a book hangover after reading this piece of amazing work but it is soo worth it!! Well done Teresa well done!!!!

The VC warriors are fighting an unseen enemy, one that could take those they love most from them. Slade and Jill are set to be married, but this enemy is determined to take that away from them. Jill fights back with all she has, but is it enough? What about the others who are fighting this enemy as well, Adam, Pam and many others, will they be able make it through?
This book was amazing. I love the humor that comes in all of Teresa's books, but this one made me cry too. There was so much heartbreak and love and passion in this one, along with the humor I had no idea what I was going to feel from one moment to the next.There are so many long awaited happenings that you just can't help being moved to tears at different points.Great work Teresa as always I cannot wait until the next book!

Slade and Jill plus all the other characters. Slade and Jill steal the show, but there's plenty about the other characters you love as well as more on Jax and his evil brother and a new intriguing character. It's hard to write a review on this one without giving too much away. Suffice it to say, this one is more bitter sweet than the previous books. Bitter in that the situation becomes so hopelessly dire, but sweet because of the love between Jill and Slade and her love for her friends and family. Normally I don't like it when the focus of a story is spread between so many, but this was a thoroughly enjoyable read and hard to put down! Best one yet!

A warrior wedding is a great addition to the series. The whole group is there and it was a great story. I have to say that I am glad that the author posted this " DISCLOSURE* No Warrior or main character was seriously injured during the writing of this book." I read it before I started reading, boy am I glad I did cause about midway, I about cried my eyes out. Thanks for the heads up because I would of been really upset if what happen came to pass.
Look forward to the next.
I would definitely recommend this series, but please read the other books first to get the most out of it. Well worth the time.

Loved this short novella. The story had everything suspense, humor, romance, and sexiness. The plot line was captivating and gripping. We get to see our most loved characters in all their sarcastic glory as well as new characters. Must read the entire series. I know you'll fall for our beloved vampires-The Protectors;). Ms. Gableman you rock. Can't wait to read Jax's story.

2018 Review
My 2015 review stands, I would just like to add...

As I said in my review for Slade, Jill Nichols is one of my favourite characters in this series; she's smart, witty and has plenty of gumption, exactly what I look for in a female lead. The Slade/Jill romance relationship is a beautiful thing and I was happy to see what happened next with this amazing couple but I'm glad that Caroline Fitzpatrick made another appearance together with Jax Wheeler and two more VC Warriors, Blaze and Hunter. I loved watching the Caroline/Jax relationship develop and the fact that we've seen Blaze and Hunter’s paranormal gifts and their alpha fighting sides but in A Warrior Wedding we get to see the fun banter sides of these two new alphas.

I needed a box of tissues by my side, I cried so much while reading this book it was definitely an emotional story (I loved that) but it wasn’t all tears, my blood boiled with the frustrating bureaucracy and prejudice, the tension had me on the edge of my seat and of course the humour and banter made me chuckle (thank heavens for Steve).

2015 Review
Fan-flippin-tastic!! There wasn't anything about this story that I didn't love.
I do think that you have to have read the previous books in this series to appreciate the relationship dynamics though.

It felt fast paced without being rushed and once again Ms Gabelman managed to tell a story with the perfect balance of tension, romance and mystery - not forgetting the all important banter!

Jill is one of my favourite "Protectors" characters, it was so nice to see her as one of the main characters once again. I loved meeting Hunter and Blaze (I look forward to finding out more about them in future novels) and it was great that more was revealed about Jax here too (very excited to hear that he'll be getting a book soon).

Teresa Gabelman's "The Protectors Series" continues to keep me gripped (without using tense cliffhanger endings) and has become a firm favourite of mine. I am a fan ;-)

I loved this book. This instalment in the series more or less continues the story of Slade and Jill, but the focus is spread between all of the characters, while also setting up the storyline between Jax and Caroline.

This was a real rollercoaster of a book. There was humour and everything that you would normally expect from these characters, but there were also some moments of sadness and heartbreak, that we haven't really seem in this series all that much. The half breeds are getting sick and there's no cure. This really puts the warriors, especially Slade, in the position of having this problem that they can't fix by beating something to a pulp. I think that we get to see a different side to a lot the the characters when they're stuck with nothing to fight.

I'm really looking forward to see how everything plays out with Jax and Caroline. I also want to know what the deal is with Jax's brother, and the problems it's going cause the warriors.

This is a great series that you really don't want to miss.

Buku ini bisa di bilang perpanjangan buku Slade dan Jill karena walau pasangan lain mendapatkan porsi tapi spotlight utama tetap di mereka. Aku paling suka pasangan ini karena mereka sama-sama kuat dan saling mendukung. Slade dominan tapi dia menghargai Jill dan kekuatannya. Jill rebel dan tidak bisa di remehkan tapi dia juga tahu kapan sikon dia harus mendengarkan Slade. Aku juga suka bagaimana ikatan mereka di uji dan dikuatkan dalam banyak tempaan. Salah satunya dalam konflik buku ini. Terancam mati saat pernikahanmu tinggal satu minggu itu tentu cobaan besar, tapi aku tidak mau membocorkan bagaimana Slade dan Jill menghadapinya berdua.

Ada progress berarti dalam hubungan tarik ulur Jax dan Caroline yang mungkin bisa jadi pemanasan untuk buku selanjutnya. Selain itu juga ada kemunculan dua karakter hero baru yang katanya akan mendapatkan bukunya sendiri. Shifter guguk seksi yang kocak Hunter dan Blaze yang bisa membakar apapun. Penasaran? Hohoho.. The half breeds are fighting against the odds of survival. There is new threat. An unexpected one that cannot be seen or explained.

Slade has his work cut out. Finding the source of what is affecting the half breeds is not easy. Jill is caught in this nightmare and even then, she does the most generous gesture to thank and honour those who supported and helped her. Slade is furiously trying to find the cause of this problem. The VC is not being helpful, if anything they are doing their best to put the spanner in the works. Jill proves to be a force to reckon with by standing up for doing the right thing. Steve is his usual self. He doesn't think before he speaks and I had to laugh at some of his amusing behaviour. Will Jill be heard by the VC?

This is a good addition to the series. There is love, tears and laughter. It is quite emotional and heartfelt. I just love Slade and Jill. The ending is beautiful and true love prevails.

This outing gives a long second look at the Slade/Gillian romance highlighting the other side of the vampire warrior doctor plus another glimpse at Jax/Caroline's prep for their spotlight. Also, a couple of fun hotties drop in at the compound to help with the latest crisis as the human half of the vampire half-breeds fights back.

Caroline's decided to move on and against all advice buys a ramshackle house deep in the woods that she plans to stay in but Jax definitely has other ideas as he alternates aggravating and charming Carline while he works with new studs, Blaze and Hunter to intensify the search for his brother.

This short has plenty of romance in this short as Jill has the wedding she wants and changes in the castle and at city hall brings new things to the warrior's undead lives.

It being the 7th book in the Protectors series, it sure has not let me down. As Space or as Steve will soon call him DR.MAC HOTTIE ...I swear Steve is going to get himself killed by one of the Protectors....lmao anyways...this being Slaves and Jill's love triangle yet introduced....it was one to definitely share in the grates....Space being the eldest of the two between him and Jill, fought the inevitable attraction that was out so present from the beginning.

As their relationship finally got around to giving in to his desire for jill, here comes Steve, Jill's best friend as a half breed, and ruins the moment....well...sort off...it was it Steve's comments on Slade's "jewels" hahaha that did the moment in..

I absolutely LOVED A Warrior Wedding! So much was packed into it. Get your tissues I doubt you’ll make it through without crying or even laughing so hard your eyes tear up. Hunter, a new charter is down right hilarious. I love his character! Oh my gosh he gives Sid and Jared a run for their money. “AWW” is one of my favorites from the whole series. It’s stressful, it’s tender moments abound, it’s thoughtful, and it’s bravery in its finest. The courage one of the characters show is astounding - yes I’m purposely being vague. Truly a beautiful love story through and through.

Get me to the church on time

What an emotional roller coaster there was so much laughter, well this is the VC warriors, joy, tears and despair, and above all love. The author was able to convey so much in just a handful of pages. I felt even more of a connection to her characters and their plight, so much so that I can’t wait to read the next book because I just have to know that they each reach their HEA. I love the new paranormal element and am looking forward to seeing what direction she takes Hunter and his family. I hope we don’t have to wait too long.

Book 7 of the Protector series, preceded by Slade and followed by Jax. A great continuation where the last book ended; it follows Jill and Slade as they try to arrange their wedding, while overwhelmed by Jill's sickness. All halfbreeds are "starving" to death and Jill, Pam and Adam are all effected. I enjoyed this story and can't wait for Jax's turn; as well as the spin-off to the series - "The Lee county wolves" series, where Hunter is featured in the second book.

Another 5 start book. Man made half breeds are getting sick, even dying, and the human government is covering it up. Then Jill, Pam and Adam get sick and Slade is trying everything he can to come up with a way to slow down and cure the illness. But, it's something in the serum that they were injected with, and nobody can figure it out. But Jill had a plan.
