Roxy Sloane has done it again! The Scene Part 3 was freaking fantastic! Tons of drama, a twist I didn't see coming, and holy anal!
One of my first book loves was the mystery genre so when I can get dirty hot sexy romance with some mystery and intrigue thrown in, I am a happy camper! Throughout the whole series, I have wanted to love Xavier - he's bold, dirty, and demanding with an air of secrecy - but because of all of our questions, I wasn't quite sure where he stood. I am pleased to say my love for Xavier is through the roof at this moment! I need him to take me on a boat, ASAP!
And Nicole - that chick has some big cajones for sticking to her guns and not just running away! But I guess if I had an Xavier to think about, I'd probably stick around regardless of my personal safety too.
And let me go back to that twist for a moment because - holy I did not see that coming! Kudos to Roxy for leaving me slack jawed and shocked!
This series was addicting for me - it was thrilling in so many different ways: the shroud of mystery that surrounded Xavier, the sex was on fire, and Miami sizzled on the pages. I think this may be Roxy's best series yet (although I will always have a special place in my heart for the panty whisperer, Vaughn <3)

In book three Nikki is still feeling torn & unsure about Xavier. It's like he's two different people. This guy who is gentle & romantic, & then he has this other side that is secretive. Nikki is struggling with trusting him, but at the same time can't believe he could be capable of doing horrible things. He seems like such a good guy. Could it all be an act?
-Something compels me to defend Xavier.
-I have to find the truth, not matter what happens.
-No one in Miami is more dangerous right now than Xavier. Even if he isn't a dangerous criminal, he's dangerous to me. He makes me feel things that I don't want to. That I can't let myself feel. The attraction is too much. It's like there's some kind of force that draws us together and pushes us apart at the same time.
Agent Barton still wants Nikki to continue her relationship with Xavier to spy on him & get him information. Nikki continues to put herself at risk to try to figure out who El Jefe is. Working undercover to find the truth about Eli's death is landing Nikki deep into the Miami crime scene. She's in way over her head & her life is on the line. She wants to be safe, but also needs proof one way or another if Xavier is innocent or guilty. She's determined to find out what he's hiding, but also has strong feelings for him she can't deny. Lines get blurred as Xavier & Nikki grow closer & she continues to deceive him.
Nikki really wants Xavier to be one of the good guys. The longer she's with him, the more she's convinced he couldn't be a criminal, & if he was, she doesn't know how she could possibly give him up. Her body is his, & unfortunately her heart isn't far behind. She desperately craves this man & wants him with everything she is.
-This is more than I imagined it could be, and I'm afraid to lose it.
-My body has taken over, and it wants this. Wants him. His touch seems to disconnect the part of my brain that controls logical thinking.
-His kiss is tender, sweet. The kiss you give someone you deeply care for.
I really enjoyed this series. It had romance, mystery, & was set in sexy Miami. This last book really wrapped up the story nicely. We find out who El Jefe is, we get some shockers & surprises, & we finally find out if Xavier is innocent. I just adored Xavier! He's absolutely delicious & I loved how crazy he was over Nikki! :D
-What this man does to me should be criminal.
-How can this be bad when it feels so damn good?
-It's so easy for me to forget about everything else when I'm with him.
-Things just fall away.

I liked this series but I didn’t love it. I have loved every single book that I have ever read by author Roxy Sloane, her stories always having the power to transport me into a world where all my senses are heightened, however that was not really the case this time.
Overall, I truly enjoyed the plot and everything about this story appealed to me and while I could not put it down, had to know how the story would unfold and what would happen to the characters, regrettably though, my senses remained unaffected. Mainly because I found it difficult to connect with the leading characters and I was desperate to feel more…more emotions and intimacy between them even if the sex scenes were scorching hot. Xavier and Nicole’s behavior felt erratic and disjointed at times, the heroine’s in particular as hers is the only voice we get to hear. Also, the way it ended was abrupt and I would have loved to get an epilogue… hence my rating. That being said, this tale was well-written and definitely worth reading, even if I was expecting more and felt as though something was missing. But I do love this author and that is what keeps me coming back!

"I have to find the truth no matter what happens."
This was definitely a roller-coaster and I wouldn't mind getting on it again and again. The Scene proves that Ms. Sloane knows how to write a mystery-romantic-suspense book. As of every one of her book you can count on the hot factor being sky high so be prepare to get hot and bothered.
I won't get into what happen at the book but I will say that this series had me questioning every moved each character did and what they said trying to get ahead of the story and finally figuring out the mystery. I really didn't see it coming like it did.
So if you are into suspense erotic romance this series is for you. Fantastic job Ms. Sloane can wait for was next!!

First things first..THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE ROXY SERIES!!! I love my Roxy and I love her books, she's one of my favorite authors, but THIS! OMG!! This series has all things!!! It's filled with some of the hottest scenes ever. And so many heart pounding moments. During one of those scenes, my husband walked in the room and said "hey" and I screamed!!! This book has a lot of mystery and conspiracies that will have you guessing left and right!!
We start off with Nikki coming to a decision to help Barton. She's torn between thinking Xavier is either a good guy or a bad guy. I'd also like to point out that Xavier is my new favorite man of Roxy's. She has quite a gift of creating all these hot and sexy men.
As Nikki gets closer to Xavier, she sees sides of him that makes him the good guy. And the way he cares for her, it's captivating. And the sexy times, HOLY FUCKING HOTNESS!! I think I want a speed boat!! Is it wrong that at this point I could care less if Xavier was the bad guy?! I would be bad with him and enjoy every minute of it!
So will Nikki be able to avenge her brothers death? Will she find out who's playing good guy vs bad guy? Will there be more surprises? One thing that caught me completely off guard!!! Was NOT expecting that!! Will Xavier be her happily ever after? You will just have to read to find out!! Because I will not spoil this story for you! Just trust me when I say you need to 1-click this series if you have not yet!!

An amazing conclusion to the series!!! Roxy Sloane has managed to create a web of passion, secrets, crime and loyalty. I loved it. Really entertaining series and this book was fantastic! Questions will be answered and Xavier’s true colors will finally be revealed. A must summer read!

А я вгадала 😀 тут головна героїня дуже тупо вчинила, вона довірилась людині, яку знала день десь, яка одразу виявилась їй підозрілою і він був неприємним, але начхати на все це, ми будемо намагатися знищити Ксав'єра, навіть якщо не впевнена що він в цьому замішан😀 ми краще стрьомному агенту довіримось. Єдиний позитив в цій історії це те, що брат головної героїні виявися живий, на цьому все.

Trying to find El Jefe proves to be far more dangerous than Nikki anticipated. With the death of one friend on her conscience and bent on find her brother's killer she will stop at nothing. But with El Jefe unknown it's hard for Nikki to keep those who matter safe and even harder to trust her gut instincts.
This installment packs all the punches!! The suspense was so intense at points that I didn't want to read simply because I felt lightheaded. You ever have something happen and for so long you psyched yourself up for wanting to know and when the moment finally comes to find out the truth you're ready to back out? Definitely a job well done Roxy. It's been a while since I embarrassed myself in public over a book, but it was worth it.
However I do have one request: For my next Birthday I want a hybrid of Ash (The Invitation) and Xavier

There is a new hero in town! Get ready for the ride of your life! Roxy Sloane is a mastermind and this is just another series she has hit out of the park! This 3rd book will blow your mind and the sex scenes will completely obliterate you!!! Be prepared to swoon; Xavier will consume you! Absolutely loved this book and series; the suspense will have you at the edge of your seat, constantly flipping the pages to find out the answers and be prepared for when you do! What an amazing story that has everything you could possibly want from a book!

Here's the conclusion of the story! Everything was exactly what I had guessed. I wasn't even surprised to find out who the bad guy was. It was all too predictable!
I was so annoyed with the heroine's stupidity. I didn't like that she thought the worst of the hero even though he was so good to her all the time! She completely ruined the book!
Sadly, the story started off strong (in the first book), but was unable to hold my interest. I must admit I skimmed through the second half of this one just to finish it up!
This was my disappointing reading experience.

What an ending to a panty melting, edge of your seat suspenseful series!!
It was perfect, but it's almost impossible to write a review without giving anything away.
Nikki makes even riskier decisions in order to find out who, exactly, El Jefe is and discovers some life changing truths. Xavier is still dark and mysterious and all rational thoughts leave her head when he touches her body. She finds it hard to convince herself that he's the one responsible for her brother's death but she has to continue lying to him while reporting the Barton (the federal agent) in order to prove either his guilt or his innocence. The secrets she uncovers about Barton and Xavier both had me saying "no way!!". I had a few theories going into this book but I was still surprised at the how things turned out.
You won't be disappointed. The sex is hot and sultry, while the anticipation of what will happen next keeps you unable to put it down. This is a one-sit read if there ever was one!!

Again this extremely talented author has rocked my world in the land of romance. This author take the crown in serial romances... hands down. She won me over with her first book and each time she releases something, I eagerly come back wanting more. Roxy Sloane is brilliant when it comes to erotic romance. She plays with your emotions in such a good way, gets you all hot and bothered, and keeps you hanging until the very last word only to devour you by the end.
Hot! Hot! Hot! Holy smokes.... this is only the final book in a hot and sexy new series that sizzles as you read it. This book was amazing. Sexy, fun, edgy, fun, passionate, and intense... this book has everything to keep you glued to the pages until the end. Packed full of twists, turns, action, and suspense, this author takes you on the ride of your life as she concludes Nikki and Xavier's story. Their story is scandalous and what they uncover is even more mind blowing.
This is the final chapter for Nikki and Xavier. Nikki has decided to find answers and if she has to go against the man she is falling for then she will just have too. She can't take any chances when she is trying to solve the mystery surrounding her brother's murder. But not everything is as it seems. Xavier is out to claim her body and mind and the lines are becoming blurred. One thing is for certain... Nikki will never be the same once she uncovers the truths she has been searching for.
Oh! Swoon for Xavier. That is right... yeah I had my suspicions but with the twists this author threw out way, I fell in love with him fast and hard. I also admired Nikki and her tenacity to find out the truth no matter the cost. The girl was smart, witty and persistent. Together, these two were scorching and their ending was sweet. I am hoping some secondary characters from this series get their own stories and maybe we will get glimpses of Nikki and Xavier along the way.
I highly recommend this addictive series and anything by this author.

This book is read-through-your-fingers suspenseful. I shaking a little bit with anxiety as the danger and paranoia increased and the pages turned. I wanted to look away but then I definitely didn't want to miss out on the return of Xavier's cock. Never fear, his delicious man bits star in this book...as do his fingers and his mouth....mmmm.
warning: this installment may induce a strong desire to shake Nikki while screaming "NO!!! DON'T DO IT!!!!"
While Nikki continues to struggle learning who to trust, Xavier continues to be the Perfect Man. Hailey also keeps her role as the Voice of Reason and I wanted to hug her. But do you think Nikki listens to her? uh huh. you're right. Regardless, while Nikki runs around Miami attempting to extricate herself from this massive mess she's dug, she somehow only manages to furrow in deeper.
Oh, but so does Xavier. YES. HELL FUCKING YES. *winks*

This is the third and final installment in The Scene serial that takes place in sexy Miami. Nicole is still trying to avenge her brother, Eli’s, death. At the same time, she is falling for Xavier, even if she shouldn’t be.

Nicole really had a lot of self-doubt in this installment and at times I really wanted to shake her and tell her to just use her damn words. But I can understand why she did what she does throughout the story.

Roxy Sloane outdid herself with The Scene 3. I was gripping the edge of my kindle fiercely! I was excited for the characters and nervous for the characters at the same time. I won’t spoil anything for you, because I want you to experience The Scene for yourself-- but I really fell in love with Xavier in this final installment of the series. In books 1 and 2, he was sexy and hot, mysterious and intriguing. In book 3, he is all of those things and more! Roxy beautifully wraps up the entire story, giving the characters closure and peace of mind, while also giving us the steamy and romantic scenes that we crave in her stories! This series was masterfully done, Roxy!

This was a great ending to this series! We pick up right where we left off in part 2. Nikki has decided to go undercover for agent Barton to take down El Jefe. All signs point to one person, Xavier. Things just don't add up for Nikki though, Xavier is so sweet and she doesn't see how he can be this awful person.
Soon things start to unravel and we get some surprises I didn't see coming at all. Soon Nikki and some surprise guests get together to take down El Jefe once and for all.
This book had a ton of twist and turns with some of the steam were accustomed to with all Roxy books. If you haven't checked out this series yet, what are you waiting for? This is one action packed, steam filled series that does not disappoint! I'm a Roxy fan for life and can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

One suspenseful, thrilling, HOT read. I swear my Book boyfriend list is full of Roxy Sloane's Alpha men. Xavier...
As much as it killed me to wait until the series was complete before reading I'm so glad I did. If I hadn't my kindle would have been broken.

Well , finished it , it was kind of good , i kept me interested , the story had some thrills in it , but nothng to big .
The sex scenes , mmm they had some steam to it , but they felt old , like you had seen them before , there was nothing new to it ... I guess after so many books its hard to find steam scenes that bring something new.
The ending kind of sucked though , it was rushed , and very uneventfull , wich was kind of turn off actually .
I did like it , it was a fast read , good enough for an afternoon with nothing to do but not great.

Perfect ending to an amazing story! I absolutely loved this final installment of The Scene. Ms. Sloane nailed it and provided us with a suspenseful action packed serial. There isn't much you can predict about this story and Ms. Sloane had me arrested at the edge of my seat eager to find out more. The pages I turned, the more the suspense grew and I absolutely love that.

This short series lulled me into a false sense of security just a little bit.
It contained all the right elements, but it fell a bit on the delivery for me. I liked it, but my inability to connect to the characters, meant I didn't engage completely in neither the sexy or the suspenseful.
I have thoroughly enjoyed Roxy's short series before, and would always pick her up again in the future.

De los 3 libros... este creo que definitivamente este fue el mejor.
La trama se mantuvo interesante... aunque en su momento, quise asesinar a Nikki... -.-
definitivamente me pareció muy estúpida/crédula, etc...
Muy predecible lo de Barton...
el final... fue apresurado!
Ahora... creo que no era necesario dividir la historia en 3 libros... con uno era más que suficiente...!!

-Nicole meets with DEA agent Barton after Kayla, who was wearing her shirt, was murdered. Nicole decides to go undercover to either prove or disprove that Xavier is 'El Jefe'.
Now that you're caught up get ready for some exciting twists and turns. It's a bumpy ride ahead! Nicole finds herself trapped in the eye of a hurricane, both literally and figuratively.
Nicole has set out to discover the truth, putting not only her heart but herself in danger. Xavier continues to be a relentless force. He wants what he wants and that's Nicole. Roxy Sloane does a fantastic job throwing us off course. I want to believe Xavier is a good guy, however he's keeping secrets. What's really the truth?

Miami has really never been hotter or sexier. Nor will it ever be the same now that Roxy Sloane has finished with it.
Nicole is defiantly a better person after all that she has been through. And Xavier? He is defiantly a happier man now that he's found someone that keeps him on his toes!
Part Three picks up where Part Two ends. Nikki is talking to Barton about trying to find out if Xavier is the El Jefe; although she doesn't want to believe that a man that treats her like she's on a pedestal could be such a bad guy. However, getting to the bottom of what happened with Eli and Kayla is what she's after, no matter the cost.
Nikki had been through so much in the short time she's been in Miami, but going through all this drama has made her come into her own. She may not be the shy, naive person she was when she got here. She is now a strong, independent woman that knows what she wants and will stop at nothing to get it.
Xavier has been secretive at times, but the more we get to know about him, the more we fall in love with him. He may not be talkative at times, but once he believes in something or someone, he goes all in. He is someone that you want to have on your side because you know he'll have your back.
The twists and turns of this series leaving you guessing at what will happen next. Just when you think you've got it all figured out, Roxy goes and throws you a curve ball. This series is sexy, undeniably sexy, but the drama is electric.
The way this story unfolds is marvelous. The bad guy gets whats coming to them and the good guy gets the girl. And you know that no matter where Nikki goes from here, she'll always have her man standing next to her the whole way.
