Cullen grew up in rural North Carolina, but now lives in the St. Louis area with his wife Cindy and his son Jackson. His noir/horror comic (and first collaboration with Brian Hurtt), The Damned, was published in 2007 by Oni Press. The follow-up, The Damned: Prodigal Sons, was released in 2008. In addition to The Sixth Gun, his current projects include Crooked Hills, a middle reader horror prose series from Evileye Books; The Tooth, an original graphic novel from Oni Press; and various work for Marvel and DC. Somewhere along the way, Cullen founded Undaunted Press and edited the critically acclaimed small press horror magazine, Whispers from the Shattered Forum.

All writers must pay their dues, and Cullen has worked various odd jobs, including Alien Autopsy Specialist, Rodeo Clown, Professional Wrestler Manager, and Sasquatch Wrangler.

And, yes, he has fought for his life against mountain lions and he did perform on stage as the World's Youngest Hypnotist. Buy him a drink sometime, and he'll tell you all about it.

This has been an enjoyable miniseries and in the penultimate issue, things go totally Deadpool.

One would think that Deadpool has finally got what he wanted in life the most. He's the only spandexed super left. He just saved the last remaing human settlement free from the plague. He had to find a mob of kindly old ladies intent on pillaging the town. But he's finally found acceptance. Of course he's going to screw it up and big time!

It's been a fun story so far and almost too sad to see it end, but I really can't wait for the next issue.

Wow this number is incredible, if the previous number had a very good plot twist this number 3 has a fantastic plot twist that leaves you wanting to know what will happen in the final number.

Wow este número es increíble, si el número anterior tuvo un muy buen plot twist este número 3 tiene un plot twist fantástico que te deja con ganas de saber que pasara en el número final.

Yes! I knew this was going to happen at least briefly. Deadpool has been infected, but his healing ability quickly (but not quickly enough) reversed the effects of it. I am not going to lie, barfing up human parts is not something I needed to see in my lifetime, but hey ... it was there. I saw it. It happened.

After the first few pages of this issue, I knew that Deadpool was going to kill the grannys instead of helping them kill the townspeople. I still wonder why the town is immune ... it's messed up that the grannys basically wanted to kill them because they were setting up society like it used to be, and apparently that is the ungodly thing to do in the apocalypse. Also, I am not entirely sure ... but I think that prison we saw (either in this issue or the one before) was a reference to The Walking Dead.

Only one issue left in this mini-series. We've got to wrap this up. I wonder if everything is going to get reversed ... if this is all just a chimi-enduced dream ...

"He thought it was going to be lots of fun - like that movie with the zombies in it. Instead, it turned out to be really depressing - like that TV show with the zombies in it."

Funny, exciting, and worth every penny.

In this issue we discover the cause of the outbreak and there is a fantastic twist in the end of this comic that leaves me excited for issue #4

The only way you couldn't like this story is if you don't like Deadpool or zombies.
