Taylor deals with the aftermath of the millennium ceremony. As she fights to survive, her friends and family stay loyally at her side. Taylor is conflicted about her new condition and nobody knows how to help her. Is there hope for her? Can she survive? Or will her life spiral out of control? Especially when she is deemed Queen of the Immortals.
Chrissy Peebles, a practicing nurse, has always loved reading and writing fantasy from the earliest age she can remember. She plotted every single twist she could think of during bedtime stories for her children. When her little ones begged for more adventures, she felt confident enough to let her overeager imagination and sense of humor spill out into her first novel. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two young kids, one hamster, three dwarf hamsters and cat. When she's not taking the kids to Little League soccer, basketball, or baseball, she loves to snap photos as her favorite hobby.
As Taylor fights for survival during her transition as a hybrid, another war rages. The wolves declared war against the witches. Taylor fights her way through the change only to fight another battle. She's the only hybrid to ever survive transition; she's petal witch, wolf and vampire, making her one of the strongest supernaturals among the races. When the unimaginable occurs, again, she must fight alongside her friends and family. Will they be able to stop the werewolves? Will she be able to escape fate that was destined for her over a thousand years ago? You have to read to find out! This series is worth every penny! Although there are editing mistakes, they're easy to look past. Christy weaves a tale of suspense, thrills and action, along with a side of romance. I fell in love with this series after purchasing the box set with the first five books. I'm sure you will too. As an avid reader, I only suggest books that I find truly amazing, otherwise I typically won't leave a review. If you pass on this series, you don't know what you're missing! Happy reading!
I gave this book a rating of 5 because I loved it . In this book the fighting to protect and earn back the love from your true is still going on. New fights started. The main character wants to protect and help people but not at the cost but losing the one she loves. I recommend this book to anyone that loves the paranormal.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Taylor grapples with major changes post-ceremony, and the emotional fallout is intense. Her new identity adds internal conflict that enriches the narrative. The series matures here, exploring loyalty, power, and fear in a more grounded way.
Unfortunately this was my least favorite Chrissy Peebles book to date. I was so excited about Taylor's hybrid curse, and the chapters for her transformation did not disappoint. Everything after was the opposite. I'm actually quite worried about where the series is going with the addition of the Immortal Court and the Fey. The king storyline is something I could do completely without. Fingers crossed the next week will circle back to what I love about the previous in the series.
And the hits keep coming....I have found a character to hate, all the other bad guys Taylor has encountered and this book has the one to truly hate. Loving this series and these characters
All I can say is wow!! What a fantastic book! Kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down! Love these books! They rw clean, adventurous, mystery, twists and turns and more. On to the next book!
Great book and series. This is my second time reading this series and I'm sure there will be more. A book has to be outstanding for me to read through once, let one twice.
