Well, crap, this is funny as hell, Robbie is still one of the most well-written kids I've encountered, and Trip and Boone deserve each other for all the right reasons.

Was it overly sweet? Yup, but that's par for the course in this series, and it's Valentine's day, after all. Although, really, a holiday where cheap plush toys and bad candy reign isn't really all that important LOL.

Then again, when it has Trip talking to a stuffed torpedo that says "you're the bomb", it can't be all bad. ;)

Trip is definitely Dex from another universe…actually not so much from another universe – they’re definitely brothers from another mother! He’s just so much fun and by gods – what a riot indeed!!! I loved that his son is so much like him as well! And Boone – ugh I just loved both of these guys! Oooh and Robbie – what a cutie!

A very short and endearing novella of Trip and Boone celebrating Valentine's together. As usual Trip can't manage to NOT get in trouble and Boone being him self is all the sweetness and consideration.

As neither of the guys celebrated Valentine's before it wasn't easy for neither of them to shop for a present. It was quite hilariously sweet on Trip's side and then when the short novella comes to an end we learn of Boone's sweetness of a present. A bit cheesy I guess but that's these two together. It simply works.

Naturally we had a few glimpses of Hunter (Boone's brother) as well as Robbie (Trip's son).

A perfect Valentine's Day indeed. This short story is a hilarious account of what happens when Trip take his seven-year-old son Robbie shopping for the "perfect" Valentine's Day gift - now that Trip and Boone are finally living together. Some of the potential gifts they come across are funny, some are just weird, but the gift they end up with truly is perfect. Not to mention what Boone comes up with - I just abut melted.

If you're looking for a peek into Trip and Boone's life after the end of 'An Intrepid Trip to Love', if two men who are deeply in love and can show it for the first time in twenty years sound romantic, and if you're looking for a read that is as short as it is romantic and funny, then you will probably like this free online story.

This is a free short that takes place right after a free novella, "An Intrepid Trip to Love." After this book is the Novel "Healing Hunter's Heart."

All 3 are worth reading. Cochet has set up a whole shifter world and you can get the low-down (family trees, loyalties...) in the beginning of "Healing..." This premise could support a lengthy series and I can't wait for the next story on Mischa and Kristoff, although it's not scheduled until 2017.

I love Cochet's writing - sexy and humorous. Unique and entertaining. Just a lot of fun!

A great short of the absolute heart of Boone and Trip's relationship. While they have done so much together and changed their world, they still love each other. Showing each other that on Valentine's day is never easy but the way they do is both hilarious and heart warming.

Silly and sappy story--but because it was for Valentine's Day, that's appropriate :) I'm a big fan of Robbie, and he features pretty predominantly. It's not necessary to read this to enjoy either the first or second books in the series, but it's a nice little interlude if you're looking for a few extra minutes with Trip, Boone, and Robbie.
