This book is a rhyming book about Valentines day. I really enjoyed this book, it was cute and very easy. I liked the easy tale and how nice it is to read. The illustrations are so cute and they are very on topic to help the story move along. I would add this to my bookshelf or personal library because this book will be so cute and great to read around Valentines day. I chose this book because I wanted to try to read different children's books based on holidays. This was one that a librarian recommended for me. I really enjoyed it, it only had 2-4 words per page, but I really liked it because it is good for a younger audience and keeps the rhymes very simple. I think that kids would like this book because kids love valentines day. They get candy and the cute little cards. I think reading this to kids around this holiday. I think they will love the photos and the celebration of the holiday.

In this cute rhyme book by Joan Holub, it's Valentine Day in the Ant World, and Mr Smarts is the ANT-ministrative teacher adjutANT who leads his class of adolescANT kid ants to do a huge heart greeting card for ValANTine's. With lines as ANTequated as they are delightful, we read how the Ant class create an intelligANT piece of romANTic artwork for, well, just because. A fun way to learn poetry and possibly make a Valentine's card yourself. Cos we all care enough to send both kids and beloved ANTcestors the very best.

Very simple book, but I was just expecting something different. I didn't like how the characters at the beginning were being demanding/bossy telling the ant what to do and how to make the heart. It does rhyme in some parts and uses a lot of short words and sentences, but I just wasn't a fan of this book. The illustrations were alright though. I didn't mind the illustrations. I honestly liked the illustrations more than the story.

This is supposed to be a Pre-Level 1 book, but there were words I felt were a little difficult for Pre-Level. My daughter is learning to read, and tried her best with it, but halfway through, she passed it to me, and I finished it. This is a cute Valentine's book, but a little difficult for kids still in the Pre-Level stage.

This is a super simple little book for beginning readers. There isn't much here for anyone beyond that stage, but it accomplishes what it sets out to do.

I learned about in the book it was Valentine's. You have to make a heart on Valentine's and send it. There's two books in this book. The two books are the same. [Two copies are included by mistake in one hardcover:] - Felicity

Great book to use with students who are learning to read because of the rhyming words/word with the same ending sounds. This book could also be used as a short read aloud on Valentine's Day.
