Instead, she’s trapped on a months-long luxury singles cruise exploring her own solar system… courtesy of her extroverted best friends. By he time they finish hauling her through the viewing lounges, alien gardens, on board gym, exotic dining facilities, and zero-gravity dance floors, she’s desperate for some alone time.
Except, she doesn’t want to be alone, she wants to learn about the ship.
Curious and creative, she pings it in an attempt to find out more about what she can do with the different artistic facilities on board. The onboard computer responds in a way that is more than friendly, almost… flirtatious?
Because it isn’t a computer.
He’s a person.
And she caught his eye the moment she stepped on board.
The entity that arranged a singles cruise through the void isn’t doing it because he needs the income, he set this whole thing up so he could find someone that he could click with, and he thinks Beth is it.
He is vast, powerful, and in control of everything.
And he is interested in Beth.
A fast-paced, high-heat sci-fi romance about intimacy without boundaries, sentient steel and starlight, unusual anatomy, and the moment you realize that your home has chosen you back.
I'm just a lady with a foul mouth who really likes writing titillating stories about characters who go through experiences we don't have here on earth.
I like tea.
Yoga is life, meditation is therapy, and a birdfeeder right outside the window is the meaning to life, the universe, and everything.
Size Difference Space Cruise by Deiri Di is one of those delightfully wild sci-fi romances that makes you laugh, blush, and occasionally pause just to say, “Did that really just happen?”—in the best possible way. Packed with imagination, humor, and plenty of heat, this installment in the Smutt Books Short Alien Romance series proves once again how creative and entertaining this author can be.
Beth is the kind of woman many readers will recognize themselves in. She’s thoughtful, sometimes stuck in her own head, and someone who knows exactly what she wants in a relationship—even if others think she’s too picky. Beneath her overthinking, though, is a woman who genuinely wants love and isn’t willing to settle for anything less than a real connection.
Then she meets Masak.
Masak is unlike any alien readers are likely to encounter. His species and abilities make him mysterious, fascinating, and at times completely unexpected. Despite his unusual nature, there’s something incredibly sweet about him. He’s curious, earnest, and surprisingly gentle in the way he approaches Beth and their growing relationship.
What makes their story so fun is the dynamic between them. Beth may start out shy and hesitant, but once she realizes what she wants, she becomes bold and determined. Masak, meanwhile, is immediately drawn to her honesty and spirit. Their banter and growing attraction create a playful energy that keeps the story moving quickly.
The creativity in this book is especially memorable. From Masak’s unique nature to the imaginative sci-fi setting, the story constantly surprises the reader with clever twists. It’s quirky, daring, and unapologetically different—exactly what makes this series so entertaining.
Even though the story is a quick read, the connection between Beth and Masak feels genuine. They share similar hopes for companionship and trust, which makes their intense connection feel natural rather than rushed. Watching them recognize what they want and commit to it with such confidence is surprisingly heartwarming.
Fans of alien romance, size-difference tropes, playful banter, and imaginative sci-fi worlds will likely find this book a fun escape. It’s bold, creative, and just the right length for a fast, entertaining read.
If you enjoy stories where two very different beings take a leap into love without hesitation, Size Difference Space Cruise offers a quirky, steamy, and imaginative ride through the stars. 🚀💫
And honestly… sometimes the strangest love stories turn out to be the most unforgettable.

She boards for a cruise. She finds something that chooses her back.
Beth never wants the trip in the first place. Dragged onto a luxury singles cruise by friends who love chaos more than caution, she steps aboard tense and halfway convinced she’s made a mistake. But the deeper she gets into the ship’s strange beauty, the harder it is to ignore her curiosity, especially when a private attempt to learn more about the vessel turns into something far more intimate than she expects.
Because the ship isn’t just sentient. Masak is watching, listening, and very interested in the woman who catches his attention the moment she arrives. What starts as creative collaboration and careful conversation turns into a connection that feels too intense to dismiss and too honest to keep at a distance. Once they stop pretending this is only fascination, the pull between them gets messy, consuming, and impossible to ignore.
Beth starts out anxious, guarded, and desperate to be chosen in a way that feels real, then grows into someone who stops minimizing her needs and openly asks for the devotion, intimacy, and permanence she wants. Masak begins controlled and emotionally contained, then becomes more vulnerable and honest as Beth draws him out of distance and into surrender. Their relationship shifts from intimate conversation into a trust-based, power-imbalanced bond shaped by creative connection, sexual intensity, and mutual possessiveness.
A dark, ultra-steamy sci-fi romance where an anxious, touch-starved woman is finally met with the understanding she’s always wanted, and a vast, possessive being opens himself to love in return. It’s about intimacy without losing yourself, being fully seen, and how desire, trust, and emotional risk can turn an impossible connection into something dangerously real and deeply like home.
The Elevator Pitch: Trapped on an interspecies singles cruise she never wanted, an anxious artist reaches out to the ship for answers and finds a vast, sentient being who has already chosen her. What begins as curiosity and creative connection turns into a fierce intimacy shaped by trust, power, and the terrifying relief of being fully seen. In the silence between stars, desire stops feeling like escape and starts looking dangerously close to home.
"She was mine. I was never letting her go. I would fill her days with such joy that even the thought of leaving me would shatter her."~Masak😏
"I'm ready for a partner, and I'm not sharing you. If we do this, you're mine."~Beth🫡
"Let's go f*€¥ some aliens."~Mara😂
That was unexpected. Seriously. I've been on this Space Cruise🪐🌠🚢🌠🪐 book series and this was the trippiest and wildest one yet.🤣 Ms Di wrote a size difference before but not like this one. Not even close.🙊🙈 This space whale topped that one with clever twists and unexpected space ship turns. I questioned what I had read but no, it was exactly what I had read.😯lol
Beth was an overthinker, stuck in her head, got attached real quick, and wanted to be in love and feel love. She seemed shy, always second guessing herself but with this unique Alien, this girl got bold.😜 Charging forward. To h*ll with playing it safe. She pushed for what she wanted. She was a likable character. Relatable.
Masak, his named changed from Malek to Marek a couple of times, but somehow it fits this unique being and how he has other surprising forms.🦠🚀🐋 🐙🪼 I don't want to spoil the engineering of the size difference or the osmosis of the smut.🫨💋🔥 This guy has something none of the other Aliens had: *slight spoiler* his v-card. Masak was really sweet and he liked Beth instantly. I liked him.
Will they make it work?🛸🌟🛸🌟🛸🌟🛸🌟🛸🌟
I did wonder about Beth's friends. They had met their mates previously in other books, but here, they're acting single.🤷♀️ I was confused about that. Anyhoo. This was a fun read. Loopy but daring. Imaginatively different.🌅 If you like playful banter between 2 beings determined to get close, this might be for you. Happy reading.*•>§<•*🤍🩵🤍🩵
🚩🚩18+ read.🚩🚩
👽🎡👩🎤Thank you to Ms Di and Booksprout. The opinions shared here are my own.👩🎤🎡👽
Size Difference Space Cruise is a bold, imaginative, and entertaining addition to the Smutt Books Short Alien Romance series. Deiri Di fully embraces the playful, over-the-top premise and delivers a fast-paced sci-fi romance that knows exactly what it is.
The space cruise setting adds a fun, escapist vibe, while the larger-than-life alien hero brings both intensity and unexpected charm. Beneath the dramatic size difference and monster romance elements, there’s a surprisingly sweet core centered on connection and fascination with the unknown.
As a shorter read, the pacing moves quickly, keeping the focus tight on chemistry and atmosphere. The sci-fi backdrop enhances the escapism without overwhelming the romantic dynamic, making it an easy and enjoyable read for fans of unconventional pairings.
I’d recommend this to readers who enjoy monster romance, alien love stories, size-difference tropes, and lighthearted sci-fi with plenty of heat and imagination. If you’re looking for something daring, fun, and unapologetically different, this book delivers.
A playful and entertaining intergalactic romance adventure.

Finally got the story about the character I liked most from the beginning of the singles cruise books, Beth. I can't say why Beth pulled my attention in the beginning but she did. Once it was revealed that she was crafty and she did what she liked for work, I was hooked. Masak was something else. He was a ship that had a vulnerable core. He has vast amounts of power but didn't abuse it, and when he thought he had he tried to right it.
Their mating, of course ending with the need to breed, but it was mutual. He really went out of his way to make her happy and satisfied knowing she was the one he wanted, and she went all in giving him everything so she could have everything.
Four stars. It was hard to judge how long she was on the ship before they mated. It would have been nice to know, that way Beth's interactions and reactions in the previous books would be better understood. A quick read, you don't really need to read any of the other books to understand this one, but they will give you more context.

We've been getting sly hints about Beth's potential match as she spends time with her friends. As it turns out, the guy she's interested in (and who's interested in her), is the massive ship they're currently cruising through the galaxy in.
Yup, Beth has it bad for the ship. He's big. He's extremely conscious of the potential power imbalance between them. He's all about consent. (As an aside, is this the first space cruise match where the Courtship Mediation Office wasn't informed of things before they started going? I mean, Beth and Masak definitely talked things through before moving forward, so the CMO wasn't necessarily needed. But also, dannnnggggg, you rebel romancers!)
Another sweet space cruise romance chock full of adventuresome filaments, an adventurous lady, and a ship who has to put himself in a very vulnerable position if he hopes to convince his special someone to become the partner he knows she could be. *thumbs up*
4.5 stars. This short story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a fast-paced, steamy, sci fi romantic erotica between Beth, the introverted female human lead who has a tendency to overcommit early, and Masak, the male alien lead with multiple forms and a species which has been enslaved previously. I enjoyed Beth’s courage as she honestly expressed what she wanted from a relationship. I enjoyed Masak’s curiosity, and his willingness to admit to potentially inappropriate actions. I enjoyed the way they balanced and their similar life goals. I enjoyed the steamy intimate scenes and the joy they found in their immediate intense commitment.

Every single time I read a book from the Smutt Books Short Alien Romance series, I think, “Deiri Di is so clever.” This is no short series. Yet, each book is still fresh, original, witty, decidedly bigger than its page count, and just the right amount of cheek. Excellent way to spend an hour. *** Recommended ***

Size Difference Space Cruise becomes a voyage of quite a few differences for FMC Beth who has drawn the attention of who she will soon come to understand is a different kind of alien from a species not yet known to humanity and he finds her fascinating as she does him, especially those filaments oh la la. I found this one very imaginative and I loved the concept that was Vaurelcar Marek. The writing was delicious, the characters well crafted and the surprises along the way making for a spicy outer this world romantic adventure.

Size Difference Space Cruise is an overly large monster romance book in space and this is book 10 of Smutt Books Short Alien series. Beth is with her friends headed to space for a singles cruise, but she is worried about the legitimacy of the cruise. This is an intriguing book with a great storyline and interesting characters. Make sure you grab this spicy read with a definite size difference and enjoy this and the rest of the series.

Book 1 of the Smutt Books Short Alien Romance series. Can be read as a standalone.
'Its smut. There are tentacles. The size difference is tongue in cheek'
The characters were so very well written. Plot was pretty straightforward and world building was impressive. All in all a great addition to the series and a fun and funny read. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

This is the 10th book in the Smutt Books Short Alien Romance series and this one was no different. I devoured the whole thing in less than an hour. I laughed, swooned, blushed, and laughed some more. I don't know how this author is able to come up with all these different ideas and MMCs, but I'm glad she seems to have an endless source. This is a fun and spicy book that will leave you satisfied. Highly recommended.

Size Difference Space Cruise is book ten of the Smutt Books Short Alien Romance Series.
Beth has a list of things she wants with a relationship and some see her as picky. She knows what she wants and isn't willing to settle for less. Masak is a large creature with a few forms. He needs to find someone he can fully trust in order to mate. Spending some time with Beth has made him believe she is the one for him. There is a lot of spice and this was a fully filled short story.
The tenth book of the "Smutt Books Short Alien Romance" series. The story follows Beth, a reluctant passenger on a luxury cruise who discovers the ship’s sentient consciousness, Masak, is seeking a partner. The ship initiates a flirtatious connection through its systems, leading to a fast-paced sci-fi romance featuring unusual anatomy and high-heat intimacy. I enjoyed reading. I have been wanting a romance story exactly like this for what feels like forever
Holy size difference Batman. I guess you could say I definitely ship it. Lol This scratched a sci-fi trope itch that's been floating around in the back of my mind ever since I first saw that one episode of Futurama (I'm sure at least some of the other readers will know the exact one). I honestly loved this it was exactly the type of sci-fi story I've been hoping for. This gets a perfect Five Stars from me.
This is a great escape read! Beth is with her friends on a space cruise that has been planned for a long time. Everyone is looking for a guy to hook up with, but Beth just wants to enjoy the peace. Masak is in control of the ship and notices Beth when she first boards. This is different from what I expected, and it made the plot so good! Fantastic short read with a perfect HEA.

This was by far my favorite of the series!!!!! I don’t want to ruin anything but I LOVED this so much…. It was so erotic…. And also really romantic and beautiful…I could really relate to Beth, with her anxiety issues, especially as it relates to interpersonal relationships…. And the implications of Masak’s physicality are very very erotic….I won’t say anything else…you’ll have to read it🥰🔥🔥🔥🔥.

It's a short story with surprise amout of world building and a lot of build up of spice. It was fun, creative read that leans hard into its premise and mostly sticks the landing. Scaling up the stakes (literally) while keeping the emotional core grounded and oddly endearing.

This alien is so unusual and unique and totally shines the light on the authors creativity. I got kinda wrapped in to the whole semantics of the story and couldn’t help to get sucked into all its alien glory. Lol. Fun and creative with some spice.

I received an e-ARC of this book. I am leaving a review voluntarily, and it is my honest opinion.
Aww, this was so fun and sweet! I really liked the characters and their chemistry, and the bit of worldbuilding to support the story was a delight as always 🥰 Really enjoying these spicy alien shorts by Deiri Di!
As much as I enjoyed reading about Beth and Masak getting to know each other, I was a little disappointed that, unlike in the previous books where the friends were involved after meeting their love interest, that didn't happen in this one.

I love the series and this book is as good as prior ones. It takes the alien to a whole new level. I almost wish that it would stay that way in the end. There is spice, banter and wonder. Perfect short read.

This was a very interesting story. Masak's species are sentient ships. He is hosting a singles cruise between humans and several alien species. Can he find his mate as well? Look forward to reading the next smutt book.

We get Beth's story next, but it can be read as a standalone. Masak was such a unique MMC, and I liked how open and considerate he and Beth were to each other.

The author surprised me greatly. I didn't realize that the size difference was not just big but enormous. Oh, boy! The author's imagination had gone wild with this, but it was all in good fun.
