Con questo numero, il mio viaggio con Sana e tutti gli altri protagonisti de Il giocattolo dei bambini si conclude! Forse questo è il numero meno apprezzato, fra tutti, ma comunque rimane carina l'idea di far vedere effettivamente il contenuto del film che i due ragazzi stavano girando durante la lettura del manga principale.
Sicuro è che mi mancheranno la freschezza di Sana e la tenerezza nascosta di Hayama!

Questo spin off di kodomo no omocha l'ho trovato molto interessante, ma purtroppo non mi ha entusiasmato del tutto. Bello che l'autrice voglia sperimentare con il genere horror, ma purtroppo la storia si perde un po' nella parte finale.
Consiglio comunque la lettura a tutti i fan di kodomo no omocha.

Una storia da brivido, piuttosto geniale e interessante, ovviamente con un finale aperto. Ma Akito che alla fine insegue Sana per farsi ripetere la battuta finale del film a oltranza è stato il top

OMG AME LA HISTORIA DEL FINAL! Esa aunque es más corta te da tiempo para entender a los 2 personajes y empatizar con ellos, que digamos que bien bien no están pero hacen como si nada casi, aveces me sentía muy Sayaka o otras muy Tomo XD son muy tiernos y adoré su relación, que ternura :,) esa fue mi favorita sin duda, por la historia,los personajes, el dibujo en sí no es muy destacable pero sirve perfectamente para contar la historia.
La casa del agua...estaba bien, me dejó pensando un rato el final, posta daría mucho más de si como película que como manga, creo yo, keseio de esto jaja,siento que tiene una estructura y trama perfecta para una peli medio indi de miedo como las que están saliendo últimamente, seh, ahí sacaría todo su potencial esa historia. De las tomas falsas pos, nose ...like? No conozco a los personajes pero ahora tengo muchas ganas de leer más cosas de la autora, siento que tiene mucho mas que ofrecer, o tenía, nose si seguirá publicando, pasaron como 20 años o mas...alm bro.

Paura vera!
Fantastico!! Avevo amato la serie televisiva ed ancor di più quella del manga che aggiunge ad aumenta molta della carica espressiva della trama e dei suoi personaggi.
Questo volume unico presenta la storia del film che Rossana gira all'interno delle varie vicende, un film inquietante e bellissimo che ti stupisce per i retroscena e soprattutto per la part finale a cui nessuno può' esserne pronto!!!
Non può che essere letto e riletto e sognato e temuto

One of my favorite story arcs in Kodocha was the on-location shoot for Sana’s first film, Palace of Water. It is during an arc where Sana grapples with her personal relationships and realizes feelings she didn’t realize she had. Brief snippets of the film are included in the story for different parts of the shoot, and for years I had always wondered what the movie would have been like! The premise sounded really interesting, and the bits of story that are shown showed the usually cheerful Sana taking on a more somber, chilling role.
This is an ever-present desire whenever I read about a film or story that is contained within a story, I become invested in the characters and plot, and I wonder what it’d be like as a standalone. I was excited to find out that Miho Obana had written a standalone one-shot about the movie, finally my curiosity would be sated! Unfortunately, I realized that at times it is perhaps better to leave things up to the imagination.
The story follows a young man who searches for his missing brother, and it leads him to a mysterious mansion in the middle of the woods. He encounters a ghostly young girl that is both pretty but possessive. I wanted so much to know the backstory of this girl, and what happened to the main character’s brother. The explanation was… Not good, in fact, it was really weird. The story is not that scary at all, even though there is at least one disturbing and bloody scene. I feel that this can be attributed to the fact that Obana is a shojo writer known for her rom-com’s, so the attempt at a spooky story was a bit weak.
I did not understand the need for the plants sub-plot in what could have been a chilling story about a ghost. As should be expected from a story that takes place in the background of another story, Palace of the Water was pretty sparse and not well developed. It was immersive enough that I could view Sana and Naozumi as different people, and forgot that these are characters from Kodocha. I also really liked the mini-chapter at the end, which included a teenage Sana and Akito watching the film.
It makes me wonder if I should have skipped this one if only so I could continue to wonder about the possibilities for this fictional film. I would only recommend this one-shot for existing fans of Kodocha if only to sate the curiosity that I’m sure other readers felt as well while reading the original.

Urca. Mentre riprendevo in mano la vecchia seria di Rossana, mi sono resa conto che non avevo mai letto il volume speciale della serie. Non che m'interessasse molto, per essere sinceri. Nonostante Il giocattolo dei bambini sia uno dei miei manga preferiti. Così ho recuperato.
Beh, ho avuto sempre un po' di problemi con lo stile di Miho Obana. Non so, come se le vignette fossero troppo piene e ci fossero troppe parole. Un po' la stessa sensazione che provo leggendo Ai Yazawa.
Così. La prima storia, appunto La villa dell'acqua dovrebbe fare paura. E per una cresciuta a pane e racconti dell'orrore non era abbastanza spaventosa. Un po' strana anche, con i tipici fantasmi giapponesi vestiti in kimono.
La seconda storia, poi, è ancora più strana. La protagonista conosce un ragazzo, Tomo, che viene trattato come un cane dalla madre... Ovviamente tutto si risolverà per il meglio.
Non so. Non questo volumetto non ha aggiunto nulla a Il giocattolo dei bambini.

Contrariamente al Giocattolo Dei Bambini, la villa dell'acqua non è stato affatto di mio gradimento.
Non mi ha spaventa, non ho provato quel brivido di cui parla Obana stessa. Ho provato solo una sensazione di dispiacere e di sconcerto e non tutte quelle emozioni che ho provato con i volumi principali.
Non comprendo il successo di questo film (ho scritto film perché ne Il giocattolo dei bambini questa storia è un film... viene spiegato anche da Obana in questo volume) non mi ha colpito particolarmente, preferisco di gran lunga la serie principale 🤷♀️

Obana non va mai leggera sui temi. Tossicodipendenza, malattie mentali... Qui troviamo una raccolta di tre storie. La storia di Villa dell'Acqua, il dietro le quinte, e la storia di Pochi. Mi piace lo stile e mi è piciuto il Giocattolo dei Bambini. Coglie nel segno parlando di certi temi. Non una lettura scontata.
