The emotional immaturity of the main characters can be frustrating if it were any book. However, I enjoyed the fact that although it’s categorized as “romance” there is far more to it once the relationship it developed and secured. The relationship is not the plot but rather the passions for flying and character development.

I love Elizabeth Lane's work. Her historicals are well researched, the character's are strong, fun and well developed. THE STRANGER has the perfect plot. A man goes to confess to a widow that he was the man who killed her husband, but once he comes face to face with her, he finds it's even more difficult than he'd expected. The two fall in love, but the cloud hanging over their happiness is too large to evade and bound to ruin everything.
