Skyhorse Publishing, along with our Good Books and Arcade imprints, is proud to publish a broad range of cookbooks, including books on juicing, grilling, baking, frying, home brewing and winemaking, slow cookers, and cast iron cooking. We’ve been successful with books on gluten-free cooking, vegetarian and vegan cooking, paleo, raw foods, and more. Our list includes French cooking, Swedish cooking, Austrian and German cooking, Cajun cooking, as well as books on jerky, canning and preserving, peanut butter, meatballs, oil and vinegar, bone broth, and more. While not every title we publish becomes a New York Times bestseller or a national bestseller, we are committed to books on subjects that are sometimes overlooked and to authors whose work might not otherwise find a home.

This is a great cookbook for a diabetic! A great variety of types of recipes are included and some of them are vegetarian. I love slow cooker books because of the flexibility it gives me to have meals prepared the day before and then just to turn the crockpot on in the morning. Then, when you walk in the door later in the day, the house smells wonderful!
I put this book on my Wish List, but if no one buys it for me, I will definitely be buying it for myself!

This is an excellent resource for the slow cooker cook that is trying to eat healthy. I have studied the recipes and found that most of them would work for most basic diets. Not too much fat, not too much sodium, not too much sugar. Dieters should, of course, consider each recipe on its own merits, but this is a strong collection.
