Yet another good volume in this series. Out of the many new series I been reading, this is one of my new favorites. What makes the series even better, is I had heard nothing about this. So it was a nice surprise to find after reading the first volume, that I knew I was going to like this. This many volumes in and the series is going strong.
The first half of this omnibus finally wraps up the mega-crossover arc with Tate the Aegis and Jesus ... kinda. The big battle against the Galboa soldiers finally comes to a conclusion, yes, but then we're given this cliff notes account about some some other incident where Mamarou and gang had to team up with Tate and Jesus, which I take to mean that I have to read one of the other series to see the rest of the crossover. And neither series is licensed in English or has an active scanlation that I can read. Which is annoying.
Thankfully the second half saves the book as the story shifts back to core fundamentals. Now that the series is entering the final stretch, I hope it stays focus and goes out on top.
