I wouldn't put this down as a Christmas read.... it can be read at any time of the year. Sure it is set around Christmas but does not have the fluff you would usually expect in a Christmas story.
This book had me both laughing and crying. A great read, very funny and light hearted but with it's fair share of sadness.
I didn't like the ending for Struan (felt it was a bit washy) but the rest of it was just so good.

I would give it 6 stars if I could! I loved the book. I didn't want to put it down! Moving and funny. It takes you away to a remote, beautiful island in Scotland. Wonderful! ❣️
