Clever, heart-warming. I need more books like this to read. So what if I don't have kids to read them to? I will read them anyway 😋

A sweet story about grandkids, grandfathers, and growing older. Little Bear is quick and strong and can do many things - catch fish, climb a tree when he needs to get out of danger, dig a hole in which to spend the winter. Grandpa used to be quick and strong, but now he must rely on his wits. He doesn't jump quickly into the river to catch a fish - he finds a good spot to wait for the fish to come to him. He doesn't climb a tree when threatened by an eagle - he roars! It's an excellent book for showing chhildren that there may be more than one way to approach a task and that sometimes they can learn things such as patience from their elders. Appealing illustrations show the love between a grandfather and his grandchild.

Cute story about the love of a baby bear to his grandpa. Baby bear admires his grandpa for so much like how brave, wise and clever he is. Grandpa teaches baby bear how to be all of these things and then they snuggle up for hibernation.
Good to use for Grandparent's Day.
