This volume does a good job of really showing the range of what's going on in the manga world right now. The color insert is particularly nice, because printing costs don't often allow these stories to be published in color and on good quality paper. Definitely a good book to pick up if you haven't read much manga, or if your access has been limited to the stuff that's readily available at your local bookstore.

I good collection of manga. Some I liked, some I didn't care for. I think it's a good place to start for someone who hasn't read any manga at all.

It had good graphics in but generally only certain comics captured my attention whether I based it on graphics or storyline.

I have a big thing against animal abuse so I found this book to be at the very edge of my comfort zone and this book really was interesting with a good collection of stories but I can't look past the animal abuse in one of the stories and for that reason I ripped out that specific story and was originally not going to read it again.

However I saw the error of my ways and re-read it a couple of times (minus that one story) and found it to be a pleasant read. I thoroughly enjoyed the artists own personally self sketched caricature portraits and the added information on them.

Overall it was good.

I found my copy at Goodwill and very much enjoyed it. There were a lot of good stories and the art was really good. Unfortunately a lot of the stories didn't make much sense to me.

some of the stories felt like fragments rather than complete stories, but nevertheless it was enjoyable.
