This precious rhyming book is perfect for babies and toddlers. It depicts all the games and fun little ones might have with their grandmothers—dancing, singing, baking, reading, playing and a lot more. It reminds little ones that grandmas are a ton of fun and that her grandchild is “the apple of her eye.”

In rhyming text, different grandmothers play with their grandchildren. It would be a cute one to do for a special grandmother storytime with babies or toddlers. It could also be used to read to a child before they go to grandmother's house.
Thank you to Sourcebooks for the advanced electronic review copy of this delightful book. This book highlights the beautiful relationship between a child and grandma, describing different things they do together throughout the day. Vivid illustrations greatly enhance the text.
I especially loved that each page featured a grandmother and grandchildren of different ethnic backgrounds - what a wonderful way to teach and talk about diversity at early ages.
Very cute celebration of all of the activities babies might do with their grandmas. Depicts a different Black grandma/child duo on each page and includes representation of different ages and abilities of grandmas.
Joyful depiction of little Black babies with their grandmothers of different ages and abilities. It made me think of "Me and My Mama," so I looked up that book, and sure enough, Carole Weatherford is an excellent author with a memorable style and subject matter. I am appreciative of her books.
This book is a good read. There were many colorful visuals to keep the attention of the reader. This book also works on big skills such as rhyming. This would be a good book to incorporate because it is relatable for most children and helps them build on their rhyming skills.
