***A Kurtherian Gambit Adventure for Younger Readers.... Or those who are young at heart.***
I was born in 1968 in Mineral Wells, Tx. I have lived all across the country:Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Alaska, and finally Missouri. I have worked as a Disc Jockey, Bookstore manager, Cook, and bowling alley attendant. I have a Telecommunication degree and a Culinary degree. I was a history major before I discovered multimedia. Gardening and cooking is my passion. My wife and I live outside of St Louis, Missouri. I have always been a Huge fan of Science Fiction and fantasy I bring my love of the genre to my writing. I'm a first time writer.
I just say this is a most enjoyable author. The space books are so good. All the series are. I found your FBI Witch books first before finding out about your collaboration with Michael. You started me on a roller coaster and I'm still reeling.
I love this universe. I can't seem to escape from the works of Michael Anderle. I continue to discover more and more books. I absolutely love them all.
The story on this book was very interesting and built on book 1 and yet went in another area, which made it quite interesting. I loved the snippets of real world history which were included!
One word of caution for readers is that there are some Kurtherian history items mentioned which I have not yet run into; I’ve only read up to book 8 in the main series so far. So, if you are planning to read that series, you should finish it first.
Audiobook review: The Alpha Team from the first Book is back! This time, the adults are watching closely and the Earth world powers are taking huge steps towards self destruction (I predict). The story is short and entertaining! The characters are likable and the storyline well done. I look forward to book 3!
These offshoots from Michael Anderle 's Kutherian world are priceless. We get to meet the children that were abducted in the Colorado base as well as some of the less features characters like Jeo. Thank you TS Paul for your work.
My mind is spinning! The characters are growing and showing us more aspects of their personalities, and Jeo's antics kept me laughing! This is a very enjoyable side story, and one I'll be following as each new novel is made available.
Love visiting historical places bit fiction and nonfiction. It was a wonderful way to give back data to anyone who hadn't read the kurtherian gambit series. Tightly woven and exciting . Love these books
Action, a starving, worn out kid saved by the good guys. Exciting technology as usual. For beginning writers you guys are pretty good. Not pretty, I've seen your pictures.
This story was a bit of a rollercoaster. I like the overall feel of it, but it's heavy on the lessons and fairly light on the people, which is kinda the opposite of what I hoped for. Still really enjoyed it though.
This book is really two separate stories that sort of converge at the end of the book. The story begins with a small boy Bai Hu being chased across China and Mongolia because the Chinese believe he has alien technology. Meanwhile the alpha team are starting their second assignment at the Etheric Academy. The further I got into the book the less I understood the Academy. All they seemed to be doing was jumping around annoying different Earth governments. The excuse was they were studying engineering, but really all they were doing was sightseeing with very little educational purpose. The book isn’t difficult to read, but after I finished I realised I didn’t really get the point of the book. The alpha team hadn’t done much except got shot at and we didn’t find out what technology Bai Hu was carrying, it was all a bit underwhelming.
Well, I suppose it had to happen. This is the first of all the series that I'm just not as thrilled with as the others. The basic premise is good, I just don't think it came together like it should. The students weren't scared or excited or anything they should have been. The teacher kept acting contrary to how he was described. They were allowed to continue what they were doing against all logic and finally, how did the EI miss all incoming on the camping trip until there was just a mile between them? This book just doesn't make sense to me. I'm sure the next will be back to its usual enjoyable experience. ✋🐺
This is a good follow on to the first book of the Alpha Class series.
Alpha class have now moved on to their next six week stint with a new teacher - this is Jeo who, while trying to show them some of the vest engineering feats in the history of modern engineering, end up taking them into one situation after another.
But the Alpha team is already a unit that work well together, so take what happens to them in stride.
This was a good second story of the series and, despite it being aimed at the YA market, was interesting enough, and fun enough, to entertain this sixty year old! Lol
Despite the title, Alpha Class has very little to do with this book. The bulk of the text is taken up with child-like world leaders that throw tantrums when they don't get their way, a general that kills every person under his command that either gets in his way or doesn't succeed in a task, and military outfits trying to steal from a much more powerful organization.
The antagonistic characters are so cartoonishly bad it's just silly.
If you don't think casual cursing is a concern then you'll likely ignore it in this book thinking it doesn't affect you. I've lived 8 decades. I say it does. And, I've seen too many series that start a bit crude, then abruptly go full vulgar. Will this series? Hard decision. Each day we are different than the day before. What we read IS a factor.
What a great adventure for our Alpha class. It seems trouble is just a breath away for these kids. Some interesting history and a new character who we don't know if they are friend or foe...yet
What a RIDE! It’s AMAZING to see how ripples CONTINUE to spread from different events, how things even a year or more ago are still changing what’s going on for so many characters! I can’t wait to see these characters grow and get stronger and more amazing!
Simply want to read more books. I have said before about other books being the best I've read, but these are in a class of there own. Brilliant. Thank you.
